The waiter Aaron tonight for our large party of Erie woman was the kindest, polite & conscientious young man. We were a party of 13 or 16 women and despite the food which was a little slow Aaron's attention to us was delightful. Fun place to connect with friend's & meet new one's.

Delicious food and beverages. We love coming up to the club to enjoy a relaxed night out or just picking up takeout.

Worst food I've had in a long time. Menu selection is bland and limited. Food tastes mediocre at best. How do you screw up mac and cheese?

The sound and the joy gave off such a great vibe immediately when walking into this establishment. This review is based on a sit down dinner and a take out on another night because our sit down was so good! Here's all that we tried: POST CHEDDAR BISCUITS - hot and cheesy - these were not as flakey as they looked like they were going to be. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. ROASTED BRUSSELS SPROUTS - sweet and spicy peppers, garlic mojo, cotija cheese | *a portion of sales from this item go to Zero Foodprint -- an org working to combat climate change in the food & beverage industry - these were good, great crispiness, char was flavorful and the sauce was sweet and tangy. Subsequently, I made a hash for breakfast with leftovers from here and these proved to be GOOD flavoring. GREEN CHILE BISON SAUSAGE BOARD (LAFAYETTE) - Rock river bison sausages, hard boiled eggs, dill pickles, bread and butter pickle relish, baked baguette, peach honey mustard - I'm a sucker for charcuterie, the bison sausage was so delicious, I ordered another after we finished the first. This also went into the next day hash! FRIED HALF CHICKEN - our famous gluten free fried chicken, choice of side, pickles, and a biscuit - ordered this on or second visit (takeout night) and did not regret a thing. It was fantastically fried to crispy perfection. The chicken was juicy and tasted like they brined it in pickle juice. CHICKEN TENDERS - all natural tenders, breaded and fried, served with ranch - good chicken, also went into the hash. OG POST BURGER*- american cheese, bacon onion jam, special sauce, griddled sourdough english muffin & fries - good burger, personally, I'd appreciate better cheese! QUINOA & KALE - quinoa, kale, arugula, roasted sweet potatoes, pickled red onions, roasted tomatoes, cucumbers, toasted sesame and sunflower crunch, lemon tahini dressing - the dressing MADE this salad, good job Chef! PUEBLO GREEN CHILE MAC & CHEESE - nothing spectacular, I would have liked this with more green chile and a better cheese base. The parking isn't a lot, but it didn't seem like people had trouble at all. We walked. It's a great little neighborhood restaurant. As I said early on, it was tasty enough to warrant a second visit!

This is NOT a SPORTS BAR!!…read more ELEVEN (11) Years since I reviewed Post Brewing, and they STILL have no watchable TV in the joint. TV's over the bar are impossible to watch from the bar if you're not an Owl and have a double joint neck. They're located at 90 degrees ABOVE the bar?? Owners have strategically placed the one TV in the bar over the sweltering patio to maximize glare, so nothing can be clearly seen. But good news: you can lower shades, YOURSELF to partially reduce the glare! Why can't management do it? Maybe they're not getting their cut from the $20/cheese burger?! Maybe they're too ignorant to know The World Cup Soccer Finals are playing? Atmosphere is horrible for watching sports. Prices are absurd, and service beyond taking orders is absent. Pay for a beer, then find another place. Better yet, just go elsewhere. This is more a family fried chicken restaurant for those that cannot order from Chik-fil-A after church, or for the 1% or Earth's population that's never heard of KFC.

The…read morechicken was perfectly crispy and the waffle was soft and fluffy with candied pecans and warm sweet apples on top. The blue corn grits were also excellent with a really nice texture. We also ordered the farmer's Benedict, which was very flavorful. The only thing I'd change is that it comes with sweet potatoes on the side and a sweet potato hash brown under the eggs, so it ends up being a lot of sweet potato. It might be nice to have regular potatoes as an option to balance it out. The beignets were incredibly soft and paired perfectly with the lemon curd. Would definitely come back and would love to try the dinner menu next time!!

Disappointing Experience at 24 Carat in Erie!!!…read more My daughter and I stopped into 24 Carat in Erie toward the end of the night, hoping to enjoy a nice dinner and a few shareable dishes. Unfortunately, the experience fell well short of what we expected. We started with the kale Parmesan dip, which we were told was a hot skillet and that we should be careful. Unfortunately, it arrived lukewarm. We also ordered several shareable items, including the seared shrimp and prosciutto and Palisade peach dishes. The shrimp was lukewarm unseasoned and burnt, and the pasta accompanying it was cold and lacked much flavor. We also ordered the Pozole duck after discussing the soup of the day with our server. That dish never came. When we asked about it, our server said she didn't hear us order it. Mistakes happen, and we understand that, but combined with the other issues, it added to an already disappointing experience. The biggest issue was the overall feeling throughout the meal. It was very apparent that the staff was ready for the night to be over. I really wanted to like 24 Carat, especially being a local restaurant in Erie, but unfortunately the food temperature, missed order, and overall service made this a disappointing visit. Hopefully this was just an off night, because there is clearly potential for this to be a great local spot. $100 disappointment!!!!

I tiki ramen taco bar... and it somehow works!…read more I've been here many times. I like the tacos, my wife likes the ramen, and we both like the drinks. I like that the menu is constantly changing, so I can always try something new. There are usually a few staples, too. The tacos are priced reasonably so you can try several flavors. Every now and then there's one I don't like as much as the others, but that doesn't ruin the experience. The ramen is priced well for the amount you get, too. The only thing I consistently haven't liked is their guacamole. But I do like their avocado and salsas. They have a decent happy hour and, recently added, a "taco Tuesday." The kids menu options are pretty good, too. The hot dogs are a hit. Sometimes the buttered noodles are, too. The tiki drinks are great fun, and they're always trying something new. In the past, they've put lemonades in fun cups (like the hedgehog cup) so our kids can enjoy a "fancy drink." The service is pretty fast and consistent. They bring you a nice jug of water to help yourself with refills.

So it was shocking that I found such a good bowl out here in Erie. I got the Hellfire Ramen, a tonkotsu-based ramen served with their house spicy sauce, chili oil, pork shoulder, and a soft boiled egg. The broth was rich and flavorful, the spice level was perfect (quiet hot but still maintaining a good balance of flavors), and the pork shoulder was tender but still has a bit of nice toothsomeness. Overall, this was an excellent bowl of ramen comparable to any of the top spots in Denver. The only slight downside is that the broth was just a tough too salty for my liking, and I would've preferred a soy marinated egg over a soft boiled egg. They have other ramen here was well, such as a chicken-based shio ramen, a regular tonkotsu, and a Thai curry ramen. I definitely would return to try the other ramen. If the other items on this menu is as tasty, I wouldn't hesitate to give them 5 stars.
