He gives a written, detailed estimate prior to starting the work based on square footage of carpeted areas of the home. It seemed a little bit more expensive than some other commercial companies, but the length of time he has been in business, and the pride he takes in his work, and the fact that he does the work himself built in a layer of trust that was worth the extra expense. read more

This company cleaned the carpet in a rental property and I found them grossly overpriced. (They insisted on vacuuming the carpet, although I explained that it had been vacuumed by both a professional house cleaning service and myself.) Their response to my call, however, was quick at a time when the pandemic was just starting to be an issue and I am veery appreciative of that fact. They did do a very thorough job of cleaning the carpet, and I had no stains reappear. My big frustration at the time was that I never received a receipt despite having called them repeatedly. Our home lies in a wind belt in an unfinished development and thus we get a lot of dirt in the house. Also, we have two dogs who "lose their manners" on occasion. We had previously used another hot water extraction-type cleaning company, who shall remain nameless because we will never darken their doorstep again! Our carpet was badly soiled and stained and we were embarrased to have people in. We found these folks via a "door hanger" flyer they left at our front door. The flyer contained very useful consumer information to help one understand the best carpet cleaning method, and why they were better than the competition. This service is literally unbelievable. I thought that I was going to have to replace my stairs and upstairs carpet due to 6 years of heavy kid traffic. Called them on Monday, they came out on Tuesday, and the final price was even a tad cheaper than the rough estimate I got over the phone. We had Mastertouch clean our Masterbath, floor, counters and shower about 6 months ago. When they were hired, I specially asked for the the sealant as we have tile throughout. During the past 6 months I cannot tell you how often our shower has mold growing. The shower is 9 years old and we have had the shower cleaned and sealed every other year. So why you ask? Because Mastertouch did not seal the shower, I called the within the first 6 weeks and were told "no they never seal showers". Well now we must remove mold every other month. So I have now hired a "professional" service to seal our shower. Would not recommend the company. read more

Terrible Customer Service from the owner himself!!!! I work for a fairly large public agency and needed to research companies to come out and clean our office. I figured based on the reviews i would give Master's Touch Carpet Care a call. First off their website states that they give free estimates. I called and the owners wife Teri answered. She was very helpful and friendly, yet when i spoke to her husband Brent it was the total opposite. I simply asked if he would come out to my office to give us an estimate since his website did state that they offer free estimates. I did also let him know we were comparing prices. I know everyone likes a deal so i figured it wouldn't hurt to have them come out. Well i was totally wrong. Brent stated that it would be a "waste of both our time" if i was just looking for a cheap price. And i would also get a "crappy job" if the price was cheaper than his estimate and he doesn't do that kind of work. Um hello, the last time i checked quotes are to help one determine which company to hire for a job. So needless to say i was very shocked that someone, especially the owner himself would even speak to a potential customer in that way.
