    Chili momo and lamb vindaloo
    Shelby P.

I adored this place so much. Kind of shocked on how good it was because of its location in a hotel. Everyone is very friendly the moment you walk in. Chili momo was as good as what I get in dc. Flavor incredible and vegetables cooked well. Also the lamb was so tender. Much better than a lot of places in the area. We would defined come back!

Delicious beautiful food but a bit overpriced. $20-30 for those little entrees. Service was excellent tho. We went on a Saturday for lunch and it was pretty empty. The chicken sekuwa (sorta like chicken kebab with Nepalese spices) was hands down our fav dish.

First impressions, cute place, trendy interiors and setup. The service was amazing, prompt and helpful and could be back cause of that one reason. The food was good, the appetizers, Shrimp Koliwada and Fish Fry were decent, but the batter and taste felt like the same. The Veg Momos (Sadeko) were the best, you could easily gobble em up, Chicken biryani was great, not too heavily spiced, and the rice and meat were cooked perfectly. The Goat curry, succulent meat and the brown gravy were well done. Chicken Chettinad wasn't really upto the mark, the Rabri Parfait was just ok. It's a great addition to the town center, they took the feedback well, surely a good visit when in the area

Steamed chicken momo sauce on the side

First time at Masti, and it did not disappoint. It's a modern Indian restaurant in the Reston area with a great vibe and even better food. We tried the steamed chicken momos with sauce on the side (9/10) -- light and flavorful. The tandoori chicken was the standout for me (10/10), perfectly seasoned and smoky. The Chicken Tikka Masala was also excellent (9/10), rich and comforting. Overall, a fantastic experience and definitely a must-try if you're in the Reston area.

First time visiting this new spot in RTC. We went there on Saturday night for dinner; the momos were excellent! Everything else was average. The ambiance is pretty good and I can see their lunch specials being appealing to the office crowd however, I don't believe I will be back for anything except their momos.

    Jhol momo

I've been on the hunt for Jhol momo in the area and I was not disappointed when Masti opened in the location of the old Panera! The interiors are clean and bright, the service is fabulous, and they have a bunch of tables that would be great for huge groups. We ordered: - the kale chaat (do NOT skip this. I love me a good chaat and even my 1 year old ate this up) - Jhol momo (Loved! I really liked how you could choose your filling between lamb, chicken, and veggie. And there's other momo flavors as well) - the daal makhani (I love a daal makhani and this one did not disappoint - chicken tikka (good, not the craziest one I've ever had) - garlic naan (great!) Overall, I think this is an awesome addition to RTC and a sight for sore eyes (in a sea of Wine Bars and Ice Cream Shops). I look forward to returning and trying other menu items!

I liked this Indian spot in Reston Town Center! Big and spacious, and there were plenty of seats around 5 pm. I liked all the dishes I had, but I particularly liked the chili momo with lamb - nice crunch, lamb flavour, and spice to the dumplings! Service was pretty attentive too. If I'm back in the Reston Town Center area, I'd drop by again.

The food was amazing as well as the ambiance. This is an upscale Indian restaurant and is new to the Reston town center. I can't wait to try more dishes. The korma and butter chicken were excellent. The naan was also very good. I am excited to come back

Loved the food, ambiance, service, and overall experience here! This restaurant replaces the old Panera that was a staple in RTC. I'm so glad Masti turned out to be a great replacement. The servers were all really nice and attentive, and even though they accidentally brought out one item we didn't order, they let us keep it and did not give us a hard time. All of the food was cooked really well and I loved the flavors of the Aloo Gobi Mutter, biriyani, and the kale chaat. I will definitely come back here soon!

Lamb Vindaloo and that wonderful salad.

Popped in for lunch with a friend last week while shopping in the area. They have amazing lunch combos and the fact that it wasn't crowded was crazy! The space is beautiful and the service top notch! I ordered the lamb vindaloo which came with the basmati rice and a great salad-amazing dressing! We also ordered dal and garlic naan. My friend ordered the chicken tikka masala, I believe. We both loved our food and the leftovers were equally delicious. It's definitely worth trying!

One of the highlights of the night was meeting the owner, Jason. We bonded over our shared Cantonese backgrounds and even got to meet his aunt, who was visiting from California and happened to be sitting next to us. It made the whole experience feel incredibly welcoming and personal. We ordered the Dynamite Roll, which was a solid choice with 8 generous pieces, and the Szechuan spicy wontons, which were juicy with just the right amount of heat. If you visit, definitely grab a seat at the bar. The bartenders are friendly, engaging, and really add to the experience. We were treated to a complimentary shot of Jäger with Jason and even got to sample their Lychee Pearl cocktail because the bartender had made an extra. The cocktails really stood out. Instead of masking everything with sugary juices, they use extracts and creative techniques to build balanced drinks that complement the flavors beautifully. Jason also mentioned that their cocktail specials change every month, so we already told him we'll be back regularly to see what new creations he comes up with.

I've been here a few times and tried several different things. All average or basic. Nothing wow. I think people come here for the drinks and vibes. Which is fair. Cool ambience. Music, dim lighting, comfortable booths and plenty of parking. Hard pass for me. Prices are a bit high given the portions and quality. But whatever. Don't take my word for it, give them a try for yourself. I've had enough. Unlike their dishes, I'm not salty, just won't be back

She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and struck that perfect balance of checking in without hovering. Great service can elevate a meal, and Maria did exactly that. The food was excellent. The paella was delicious, the patatas bravas were flavorful, and both the pork belly and bacon-wrapped dates were standouts. The sangria was also fantastic and paired perfectly with the meal. Now, I've had Spanish food in places where it's a little more authentic and refined, so this wasn't necessarily the best Spanish food I've ever had. But considering we're in Virginia, Barcelona absolutely exceeded expectations. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, the patio setting, and especially the exceptional service combined to create a five-star experience. If you're in Reston and looking for a memorable dinner, Barcelona should be at the top of your list. Ask for Maria if you can she is fantastic.

It's a nice atmosphere, not too stuffy but elegant enough for a nice dinner. The drinks are good, well mixed, and nice options whether you drink wine, beer, cocktails, or non-alcoholic options. The food, however, is very mediocre. They started with an amuse-bouche that was a fruit tart with cheese. Nice, light, and well balanced. We ordered the tuna tartare, along side a Japanese sweet potato dish and a salmon tartare that were both specials. The tartares were fine. Something you would get anywhere. The presentation was nice but their crisp or cracker was kind of useless as it doesn't have the structural strength to use as a vessel to eat the fish. The sweet potato was probably the best in terms of flavor albeit very rich. The main course is well things really fell apart. The beef dishes people ordered were either under cooked or over cooked. I got the grilled prawns which were limp and mushy. The veggies were underseasoned. The braised beef was small. I think everyone was underwhelmed with the main course. It's fine as a after work dinner spot but if you care about food, there are better options nearby.

The free popcorn still isn't good or all that enjoyable, service can be hit or miss, drinks are expensive, and the food is very good. The Reston location does have plenty of large TVs, making it a solid place to catch a game. This was a guys' night out for food and drinks, but it's probably not going to become a regular meetup spot when a couple of easy changes could make a big difference. First, get rid of the popcorn, it's honestly laughable. Second, bring the drink prices down. A Wild Turkey and Coke shouldn't cost $14. We started with something to share. My biggest concern was value for the price, and the menu only had a few appetizers that felt both shareable and reasonably priced. The Bavarian Pretzel was good, although I wasn't a fan of the mustard dip. At $10, it's a decent value for two or three people. The chili nachos were tasty, but $18 is just too much for what you get. Even if they doubled the chips and chili, I'd still think they were overpriced by a couple of dollars. I'll definitely give them credit for the entrées. On my last visit I had the jambalaya, which was excellent. This time I ordered the Peruvian-spiced half chicken, and it was fantastic. I ended up spending almost $100. I had a good time and enjoyed the food, but Open Road has moved into my "splurge" category rather than my monthly hangout spot. Our server may have been new because service was slow, and the kitchen was also taking a long time to get food out, especially for a Friday night. I'm giving the Reston location four stars, just like Arlington. The food was tasty, I had a good time, and I'd come back, ... but.... the little things, especially the drink prices, lopsided menu pricing, and inconsistent service, keep it from being one of my spontaneous go-to spots.
