All you can hope for when you go out to purchase a used car is that you deal with honest people who aren't trying to pull one over on you. Most people aren't that car savvy. They don't know what questions to ask salesmen or what to look for when inspecting a car. They hope to be able to trust salesmen at their word. Mastria's self-proclaimed "161 point inspection" is a gimmick. They'll find and fix the issues that would prevent the car from passing inspection. Everything else that doesn't affect inspection? You're on your own. My advice to anyone who may have purchased a used car from them: get it inspected by an independent service station immediately. I was told numerous lies in my dealings with Mastria (e.g. there was no extra key, no full tank upon purchase, and most importantly..a few of the 161 points that were supposed to have been checked, were faulty and cost quite a bit of money to repair). If this review prevents even one potential customer from the hassle and frustration I went through due to their dishonesty then justice will have been served. read more

Got a call from the owner, who backed up his employees and insinuated that it was my fault for the dirty oil because of too long in between oil changes. I have gotten all of my service the there and on schedule. Apparently he did not look at my vehicles service records. Why would the oil be dirty if they supposedly had changed my oil two day before I checked it. Another drop of the ball on customer service, when the owner calls you , apologizes ,but blames the customer . What a backhanded apology and a slap in the face. read more

Wanted to purchase a Murano cabriolet from them , price was 20990, as soon as I said I wanted it they raised the price even though their ad on Autotrader had it for $1000 less, salesman Mike said he would honor the price after speaking with Dave the gm, wouldn't take my deposit because it was 8pm, said don't worry the car is yours and they will call me first thing in the morning ? Rating MINUS 10 (-10) had to give a 1 or it wouldn;t post. You are out of your mind if you even consider going to this idiotic place! Do yourself a huge favor, and go somewhere where people have at least half a brain. After calling three different Mastria numbers for two hours, and not getting through, we finally got connected to a working number. We saw a car on the Internet, and were prepared to pay up to $35K for a new Buick. We asked if the car was available, and were told independently by two different people, who told us that they checked thoroughly that the car was indeed available, not sold, and that one of the owners was driving it today. They made an appointment for us to come in at 3 PM because they told us that the owner would be back by then, and they wanted to clean up the car for us. OK we said, but please be sure it is there because we have to drive 40 minutes each way. Before we left our house, we checked again, and were told that the car was there being cleaned up, when we got there, ask for Bill. We drove to the Dealer, and when we arrived, Bill was with someone, and had no idea who we were or what we wanted. We got the Bum's rush to another salesman who was completely clueless about what we wanted, but took us walking around the lot for ten minutes looking for the car while we described it over and over again. He could not find the car nor could anyone else seem to help. We were asked to wait in the office while they sorted things out. On the way to the office I saw what looked like the car on the side of the building, and pointed it out. ( I don't work there, and have never been there before!) It was the right car. The salesman went away to check it out, and half an hour later comes in and tells us that the car we came to see was sold in the morning. We said that how could that be if the car was not there in the morning because the owner was driving it? Just nothing but stupid faces. We were then hustled into some flunkies office who looked at us expressionless, and said the same thing. He's sorry. My wife and I marched out of there as fast as possible. Three hours of wasted time, and stuck in traffic on 95 for nothing. If you want to deal with lying, stupid clueless fools who will waste your time, by all means hurry down to Mastria. read more

I bought a new 2015 Sierra. When I reach 80MPH the center console vibrates like mad. I showed the service rep a video of it, after the 2nd attempt to correct the issue, I was told by the service manager "nothing more we can do for you" I had to get GMC customer service involved. Major fail on GMC Mastria. Today Mastria lost a customer. I will never recommended them to anyone. read more

I walked into Mastria Buick GMC because I was referred by a friend and I will NEVER go anywhere else again. I knew what I wanted and what I wanted to spend. I don't have all that much time and the staff was very understanding of that. When I arrived I was given a tour, offered coffee or water and was given a thorough and informed breakdown of the vehicle I wanted. I truly believe that Brett Spellman did everything he could to get me into my new truck. He emailed me a car that I liked so I called him to get a few more details then made an appointment the same day and drove one hour to see the car. When I arrived at the dealership they told me that car has been sold several days before. I called the manager and never received a call back. I sent an email and never received a response. This is the worst service department in the area. Also, don't believe their tires for life story either. I brought my 2011 Escalade in for tires and they claimed that because I did not have a transmission fluid change in a previous service that the tires for life was invalidated. Come to find out, it was their service manager whom recommended not having the fluid change. These guys are a scam. I bought over nine vehicles from them in the last 10 years and will never go there agin to buy a char. They are unqualified, dishonest and unethical. Spent 3 hours at the dealership and made the deal then they tell me to go home and the truck will be ready in an hour. Then I get a call saying they the rims on the truck was an add on and need to raise the price another $4000.00. This is after I spent 3 hours, dealt with 3 different people including the sales manger who finalized the deal. How do you miss that. Manager approves the deal, new exactly what truck it was then waits for me to get home all excited about the new truck to pull this bull move. This is a second time they tried to pull something. I have been emailing back and forth with Pedro a sales rep for a couple of weeks regarding purchasing a new truck. I thought I was dealing with someone who was professional and extremely helpful. As it turns out Mastria fits the profile of a slimey car dealership/salesman. The main objective was to get us in there even if that meant being very misleading and deceptive. Pedro quoted me a price and a vehicle and when my husband went in to purchase this truck he was informed that it was the wrong price. I will be informing the Better Business Bureau and posting reviews informing people about Mastria's misrepresentation so no one else has to deal this type of frustrating, unethical and probably illegal practice. read more

This is by far the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. No one is friendly unless they think they will make money off of you. They are NOT truthful with what they say when leasing. Every time we went back to consider a re-lease they would slam us with a "6000-7000" difference to make up and told us if we waited it would go down. That turned out to be untrue. Most responses are "I'm not sure who you talked to you but they shouldn't have told you that". Typical. Also left out important information about warranties with misleading maintenance responsibilities. On top of every negative situation we've had, we go in to speak with a rep about re-leasing and mid conversation are passed off to a different, less experienced rep because a "good sale" walked in the door and was obviously more important then the business we were trying to offer. Good luck to anyone seeking decent customer service here. I wonder where scamming car salesman stereotypes come from. . End rant. read more

Worked with a guy named Rick. We agreed on a price and when I went back the next day he told me the price had gone up over $1,000. Right then the trust was lost but I got the car for the price. After negotiating AGAIN i got the car. Although it did not come with the features he said it did like blue tooth and satellite radio. So basically made false promises to make the sale. Not a good experience; First there was an issue with communication from the rep that was very impactful. I dropped the car off at 8:30 under the impression it was finished that day. I called the dealership at 5:00 since I did not hear from them all day. The rep then told me they need to keep the car, and I asked about rental since I had not planned being without a car on Saturday. He told me they didn't have any, I hung up and then called back two minutes later. My had rep went home and I asked for a rental from someone else which then magically appeared. I had to rush down to get there before closing. Second, the price. I originally was quoted about 540, when I got the bill the next day it was 900. The rep never shared (even though part of original ask) the 120 dollars to replace license plate light bulbs, and there was another issue doing the original work that was extra (not a big deal) but he never gave me that cost when he called me the day after. Since I was already upset about the lack of communication and care for customers time this was just salt to my open wound. I have been going to Masteria for several years but after this experience I might not go back. read more

The one positive is I love my new Cadillac and Melissa was great and stepped up to help this horrific process come to an end. Other than that my experience at buying my first nice car was completely ruined. Adam was a disaster, couldn't remember our phone conversations, what time I scheduled appointments to come in, and even told me I can go to CVS to replace the battery for a key fob that was registering as needing to be replaced. He was completely incompetent and couldn't keep his lies straight. It took me 4 trips to this dealer and countless hours to have the car all ready to go, when I was told it would be ready much sooner. My mother spent from 9-4 waiting and after 5 hours of waiting she asked for an update and was told very snidely by Dave the General Manager that he knew who she was and didn't want her in the waiting room just as much as she didn't want to be there. I would never recommend this company to anybody and will be removing my decal that was placed on the car. read more

Called this dealer about 2 weeks ago asked to get a loan so We fill out a appl and looked a which car we wanted a 2008 CTS we waited three days to hear from the finance did not hear anything after 7 days we get a call from Craig Gravem Business Development Manager and he said very sorry we did not get back to you we are very busy then we hear back from the finance dept that me and my wifes credit is no good and we can get only a older car with 3000 down so we sent this to them and still did not hear from them ll I can say is Your finance guy does not know his business you talk to the person before you give a yes or no to a loan. We want to a dealer near you and got a loan on a 08 CTS 72 months 7.50 % loan 23,500.00 500.00 cash and my tradein a monthy payment 354.44. So you lost 3 customers I just think that you need to talk more with your soon to me customer you guys put me in a bad place. Guys in the service Dept were good and respectful. Only complaint was the waiting area...yes, the waiting area. I'm in food service and very in tune with a clean environment...When I saw a lady who works in the office walk out of the bathroom with a container of water to fill the coffee machine, I almost threw up...She then reaches in a drawer nearby and takes out a box of danishes to fill the cake tray....And a little while later, an unkept (and I'm being very nice) guy shows up with a rusty old shopping cart of loose cans to fill the soda machine. I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from them. My wife and I came to deal with a internet sales person who put us on to a sales rep and we were informed to come in and purchase the vehicle at the agreed upon price. We advised them of our lease turn in and they said they had all the paperwork and knew what was owed as they confirmed our monthly payment. When we arrived we saw the vehicle and we were ready to sign for the earlier agreed price, which was they then changed to over 100 dollars a month more than promised. Very dishonest sales department you've been warned. If you don't take my advice you better have it all in writing don't take their word for anything ! I recently purchased a Chevy Silverado from Mastria Motors in Raynham. I did a wide range search and they definitely had the best prices in town. I worked with a woman named Colleen that did her best to make sure our experience was a positive one. I give 4 stars instead of 5 because there was a bit of confusion that could have been avoided, but overall the end result was a positive one. The worst dealership to deal with! Bought a car and within a week I had to bring it back for service. The salesman that I bought the car off of Mike acted like he didn't even know me when I went back! So cordial when I was there buying the car! And the service dept is the worst!!!! Waited 3 1/2 hrs for my car to be serviced, then they come out and say ohhhh your going to need to leave it and pick it up the next day. I come back the next day at 6pm and the car hadn't been touched!!!! They were rude & condescending to me. Never Ever would I recommend someone to buy a car from then. Leased a 2015 GMC Terrain from Mastria in April 2015. Mario was my salesman and he was great to work with. I hadn't purchased a car from a dealership in over 18 years and I went to one other dealership to look at a Mazda CX-5 (in Norwood) and the entire experience there was horrible and it left me with a bitter taste for dealerships in general. DO NOT PURCHASE A USED VEHICLE from this dealer. They sell used vehicles that have previously been totaled in other states that they purchase at closed dealer auctions. The actual value of your car will be $0.00 but they will charge kkb value or more as if it had never been in any accidents. They did it to me and at least one other customer. Check out my review below and their reviews on dealerator regarding Mastria Buick,Cadillac, GMC on route 44 in Raynham. I purchased a 2007 Suzuki XL7 in December 2009. I just went to trade in my vehicle for a brand new vehicle from a different dealer that ran CarFax and found out that Allstate Insurance in Lake Success NY declared my vehicle a total loss in March 2009. Allstate didn't report it to CarFax until 1/8/2013 nor do they have to. Mastria bought my vehicle from a closed dealer auction in NY from American Suzuki Financial (the bank) on a clean NY title in November 2009 that should have been on a rebuilt title. Because my vehicle was not titled in NY by a consumer after it was totaled the bank did not have to have a rebuilt title. I bought my car from Mastria on a clean MA title in December 2009. Before I purchased my vehicle I asked if it had ever been in an accident and they said no. I asked how many previous owners and they said one. They lied to me as there was one owner that totaled my vehicle and the bank (American Suzuki Finance) was the second owner. If they were honest with me before I purchased my vehicle I most likely would not have purchased the vehicle. Always call the National Board of Titles with your VIN number and ask them if your vehicle has ever been reported in an accident. They are the ones that confirmed my vehicle was a total loss in NY in March 2009. There is no documentation from anyone that my vehicle has ever been certified after the accident or safe to drive. I don't even know if my airbags were properly inspected after it was totaled or if they will work if I have an accident. Mastria doesn't care about my safety or that I still owe $9600 on my car and they offered to buy my car for the trade in value as if it had never been in an accident for $6050 to $8050.00 and said they would just sell it to a wholesaler. That means I would now be restricted to trade my car in for another vehicle from them as no other dealer is going to offer me that amount now that they know my car was totaled. The point is that I paid over $25000.00 in 2009 for a worthless vehicle. read more

Worst dealership experience. Left me broken down days after buying the truck, multiple times, even though they knew I was driving cross country. Cost me thousands on top of regular expenses, waisted 2.5 years of savings on this. Left me stuck with out my medication. Had the same problem 'repaired' 3 times. Went to 4 different GMC dealerships to get home. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND MASTRIA. But will bring up plenty of conversations and warnings so people stay away. Dealership refuses to assist in anyway and make good on what they did. Also... Refused to give me the same loaner vehicle - that they give other customers, because I am disabled and have a service dog. I didn't ask for my truck to be taken back, just for my waisted vacation money back, as that is what it was, 2 stressed / break down filled weeks. But apparently I'm not worth the $4k that I blew, only the $54k that I just spent on this LEMON! Thanks for nothing! read more

I drove from CT to view a 2000 porsche boxter I viewed on auto trader. Told me it was in good condition knew I had over a 2 hour ride. Asking $12995, average price at real good condition. Got there and it had scratches on the exterior, the intake behind the pasenger door was screwed on with sheet metal screws, the front bumper was loose, the convertable top was stained, the plastic trim on the interior was all scratched, the tires were dry and cracked, and dash lights were on, and the passenger rear tire clicked. Im not sh*ting you is was that bad soon you can see my dmv report. Search for that car on auto trader and there inventory. It looks good in the pics just to get you there and talk you into somrthing else. I was a cash buyer going there for that car. There searching for suckers. STAY AWAY!!! read more

I bought a Saturn from Mastria Nissan 2 &1/2 years ago. Unfortunately, I have to service my vehicle through Mastria Buick GMC Cadillac bc they are are Certified Saturn repair shop. I had to have my transmission replaced a year ago in November & now my trac light tomorrow. In both cases the customer service representatives provided horrendous service. The customer service rep today, Christine didn't listen to what I was saying because she was too busy talking over me. Then she proceeds to ask for information I had already provided. Had she not been running me over she would have heard the info the first time. Then, a message is left from a different representative at a different number than the one I called from. The message was left regarding my appointment was left on one of my family member's machine. The person who left the message was relayed a completely different message than what was discussed on the original call. This backs up that the representative Christine is not attentive nor detailed oriented. I did speak to Adam after being told a message was left on their machine. Adam was highly competent and efficient to take care of all concerns/issues. I am highly satisfied with his customer service. The website live chat operator for Mastria Buick GMC Cadillac cannot tell me where to write a review on the customer review site. She needs to direct me somewhere else!!! My email would be passed on to someone who can help. The website is not any more user friendly then the customer service provided by GMC. What a huge difference regarding customer service relations within one company. If I had the choice I would strictly deal with Mastria Nissan the location where I purchased my vehicle. Very disappointing dealership. My father purchased a car less than a year ago and has since discovered multiple problems and has sunk an additional $2500 into a CADILLAC. Shortly after purchasing the used car(without floor mats) we discovered during a snow storm that the front windshield leaked and would flood the floor of the vehicle(hence why they had removed the floor mats). When asked about this issue, and if they could find the leak/replace the windshield they said they would have to charge to replace as it's not a damaged windshield. This was withing 3 months of ownership of the vehicle. The problems have since continued and needless to say nether I, nor any members of my family will EVER purchase a car from Mastria again. I will also be sure to tell anyone I possibly can how we were treated. Certainly not the experience one would anticipate when purchasing a Cadillac. I decided to go to the Norwood Landrover dealership instead and couldn't be happier! read more

I don't usually review this type of thing, but the folks at Mastria GMC, Cadillac, Buick in Raynham, MA were fantastic. I was right on time for my appointment and they had the keys ready to rock and roll and honored my request for a turbo with a 6 speed manual transmission. Jim, the sales professional (a term I don't usually use!) was assigned to me. We walked around the car a bit, talked about the body lines, the design, what he liked about it and was LOADED with information about the car- from the roof line, mirror shape, lower rear diffuser, and more- he knew it all. In my opinion, this is a very rare trait in a car salesman. We got in, he pointed out simple things like the laminated windows, sound deadening (noting that the exhaust can still be heard), and how to use the infotainment system. I turned the car on and noticed we were nearly out of fuel. He quickly got some cash and we hit the gas station. Instead of a measly couple of bucks, he filled the tank half way- again, not typical of a car salesman. We went for the drive and while I was enjoying the acceleration, braking, and handling, he put up no protest to my driving style. I asked and told him what I was going to do before it happened, but he never once suggested that I not do this or that. During the drive he pointed out the differences between the ATS and the 3 series and the people he's sold the ATS to who have traded in 1-2 model year old German vehicles. After the drive, I told him I was off to check out the competition to make an informed decision, but he didn't urge me to sit and try to sell me the car, but instead took a no pressure approach, told me that it looked like I really enjoyed myself in a Cadillac and if I decided to come back, to give him a call. Hassle free! if I were able to buy a new Cadillac, this would be the guy and the dealer I'd get it from. If his representation as the face of the business was any indication to the rest of the dealership, they've got it right. read more

I needed to get an inspection sticker, but my engine light as on and my car would have failed inspection. A local mechanic and car dealer told me I should try Mastria GMC (Saturn of Raynham). I called and made a 10:30 appointment to have it looked at. When my husband and I got there, Scott asked if I had another vehicle with me. I said no, I wasn't told that I would need to do that. I was then told that they were all backed up and my car wouldn't get looked at till later in the afternoon. I reminded him that we just came from the Cape and had no vehicle to go anywhere. He suggested that I could go the car rental place down the street. I told him no - I was not going to rent a car. He said he would have given me one of their rentals, but they were all out. I told him my brother lived near by and would see if he was home. Fortunately, he was and came to pick us up and we would stay at his home until they had looked at my car. Scott said he would call as soon as they could get my car in the shop. A few minutes after we walked outside to wait for my brother, we noticed my car was being taken into the shop. We thought that was strange, since we were just told it wouldn't get looked at until later that afternoon. Almost two hours later, I received a call from Scott that they looked at my car. They did a diagnostics on the car and said they came up with the PO430 code (catalytic converter). They found that the surrounding components by the catalytic converter were corroded and said that a valve and harness needed to be replaced. They felt raw fuel was effecting the catalytic converter. He felt that this would take care of the problem and avoid me having to replace the catalytic converter. He gave me the price to do the work and I told him I needed to get it done. Scott called me an hour and a half later and said they were finishing up my car and I could come by to pick it up. I made the payment of $403.33 and asked when he thought I would be able to get my sticker. He told me that I needed to drive it around for a few days and should be fine . As I was driving home, I thought it was strange that he told me to just drive it around, when I have been told by other mechanics, that once the code was cleared and the engine light was out, that I needed to drive it a good 200 miles for it to get back to normal. I called Scott and asked him if I needed to put on a lot of miles and he said no, the miles do not matter - it's how many times you turn it on and shut if off. That just didn't sound right to me. This was a Wednesday that this all happened. I did a couple of errands later that afternoon, drove it back and forth to work on Thursday and it was fine. I went to leave on Friday morning and the engine light was on. I got to work on Friday and called Scott to give him the bad news. He said, he had a feeling that would happen and that I needed my catalytic converter replaced. I told him I just spent $403.33 for nothing - it didn't work. He said, well we didn't know if that is what it was. I told him, if it didn't work, then I should get that money back or deducted from whatever else needs to be done. He said he would call me back with what it will cost to do the converter. He did call me back later in the day and gave me a price of $1,900.00. I told him I didn't have $1,900.00. He said that the converter was around $680.00, replacement of two other parts @ $200.00/ea., $100.00 for miscellaneous and the rest is labor. I again told him I could not do that - I don't have that kind of money. I told him how I had gone online and found converters much cheaper than $680.00. I asked him why can't he go with those to save me money. He said he felt that GMC wouldn't allow it. He said he would call me back the following Monday with another price. I called him back again and of course he didn't answer - left him a message stating that whatever different price he gives me, $403.33 needed to be deducted. He never returned my call. I talked to my son and he spoke to his friend about my problem. This person is a car dealer who has very skilled mechanics. He thought it was terrible the way I was treated by Mastria and offered to help me. He took my car for 4 days - did diagnostics on it as well. They replaced a valve and spark plug on the car. He drove my car around doing for over 200 miles and the engine light went out. He went to a service station that does inspections. hooked it up the computer and it passed inspection. My cost was $286.00. I feel that I deserve a reimbursement for what I went through just trying to get a sticker. I had to spend $689.33 just to get it done. I have spoken to GMC regarding my experience and the person I spoke to, "Kunle" feels that it was a "shabby job done by the dealership" and I should be compensated. I was supposed to be contacted within 48 hours - it's been 10 days! Shame on Mastria and GMC! read more
