We both ordered a beer and My Wife got a personal pan pizza. It was eight dollars with two dollars per topping. I ordered the Michigan chicken, cherry salad. We had got there around five and the place was steadily filling up as we sat. Mary, our waitress was very knowledgeable and kind. We felt fairly good about what we had ordered. But let me tell you once we got it, it blew our minds. My wife's pizza was outstanding. She said maybe the best she's ever had. I rolled my eyes and then she offered me a bite. And it was. Truly. A lot of times when you order pizza it's falling off of the crust. It's uneven. This was perfection. She couldn't believe it. Frankly neither could I. The crust was soft and you couldn't tell it from the toppings. No separation nothing falling off and cooked so well. My chicken cherry salad is a favorite in Michigan and they did it right. Each portion was great and more than enough for the both of us. We talked about it the rest of the night. If you have the chance, make sure you visit. He recommended replacing one of our original appetizers with the Suppli -- and he was absolutely right. It was a HUGE hit with our guests! We were also unsure about serving salmon alongside the sliced sirloin. Jeff immediately suggested Chicken Piccata instead, and it complemented the sirloin perfectly. Our guests kept telling us throughout the evening how delicious everything was and how impressed they were with the quality of the food. Peter, our host, was simply wonderful. He was gracious, professional, and on top of every detail from beginning to end. We never had to ask for anything because he was already taking care of it. Our servers, Sydney and Isla, were equally outstanding. They were attentive to every guest, offering drinks, clearing plates, and keeping the food stocked without ever needing to be asked. They worked so smoothly and professionally that we were able to relax and truly enjoy this very special evening with our family and friends.
