They also put my wrong age and wrong family history in the reports! My doctor informed them I could not do the mammogram on that day due to my breast having severe pains. They insisted on doing it anyway, slammed the machine down on my breast until I nearly fainted from the pain and said they could not proceed. When I received a copy of the results, they put the wrong results on the CD. I traveled an hour back to get another CD and asked if they could open the files in front of me so I could make sure the right ones were there. "We don't have any computers that can open the files on the CD, ma'am." I said, "In this giant imaging center, you don't have one system that can look at what is on the CD you are burning?" "No, ma'am." Was told the visit would be $420 upon going in. Turned out to be over a thousand dollars and was billed for the ultrasound 3 separate times. I am told to go back and repeat the whole process because I need to re-do the mammogram they themselves tried to force after my doctor told them I could not withstand it due to severe pain. Do not go to this location--I now have to pay to repeat all of these tests and can't even use these results, if they are even on the second CD, which they probably aren't.

After checking in , I was sent to a room with a male tech who told me to get undressed from the waist up! I asked why , since I had removed my jewelry at home . He said because of the metal in my bra .My bra has no metal, and I stated that , so he told me to get on the machine which I did . He told me I would be hearing loud noises and he took a pair of rubber ear plugs out of a plastic bag and inserted them into my ears, while leaning on my chest with his elbows and upper arms . He could have handed me the plugs, as I am quite capable of inserting them into my own ears . This was not an open MRI at all! . I became extremely claustrophobic after about 30 min and pushed the button he gave me to use if I needed help. He did not stop the machine nor he come to my aid , and after pushing the button multiple times I forcibly extracted myself from the machine! Why would , or should , anyone go to a radiology center not affiliated with a hospital? Most local hospitals in Bergen county have the technology . Incompetent Service and Unethical Billing Practices…read more I had an awful experience at ImageCare. They didn't follow the doctor's prescription correctly and missed half of the MRI order for my face and neck, only performing the orbits scan. After realizing their mistake, they contacted me to apologize and assured me that they would correct it at their cost. However, they went ahead and charged me twice instead. To make matters worse, they didn't ensure prior authorization with my insurance before the MRI, causing the insurance to deny coverage. Their negligence and lack of communication have cost me significant time, money, and stress. I'm now fighting with both the clinic and insurance for what should have been a straightforward procedure. This place is only interested in squeezing money out of patients, regardless of health or wellbeing. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. Now they blocked me from adding anymore reviews at google. Definitely, I'll file a complaint through state medical board and every other agency that deals with this issue

They explained that my type of imaging needed to be cleared by insurance and they had a specific wait time for that - which is probably why the website wouldn't let me make a next day appointment. When I came in for my appointment, I only had to wait about 10 minutes before I was brought into the main MRI room. I came in for an ankle MRI, but I have other medical issues that warrant bi-annual brain MRIs. I'm used to a metal detector in front of the door and having to change completely. It was weird for me to have them take my word that I didn't have any metal on me so I didn't have to change and my purse was just casually put on a nearby counter top.
