I'm someone who gets really anxious with MRIs and he picked up on that instantly. Before I even got in he explained everything and gave me an eye mask which he said would help (and it did). Once I was in the machine, he talked me through every single step so I wasn't lying there guessing or spiraling in my head. He even told me exactly how long each part would take "this next one is about 2 minutes," "this one will be around 3 minutes," and then toward the end "just 3 more sections and you're done." This is going to sound crazy but he told me that I was doing great...which was nice to hear even though I wasn't doing anything but laying there - but hearing that just helped relax me so much (if that makes sense). That level of communication made such a difference and helped me stay calm the entire time. He reassured me throughout and kept checking on me and was genuinely kind (which is HUGE when you're nervous). Because of him, what normally stresses me out became completely manageable. From now on I'm requesting him and everyone I refer here is getting the same instruction...ASK FOR BOSH!! After checking in , I was sent to a room with a male tech who told me to get undressed from the waist up! I asked why , since I had removed my jewelry at home . He said because of the metal in my bra .My bra has no metal, and I stated that , so he told me to get on the machine which I did . He told me I would be hearing loud noises and he took a pair of rubber ear plugs out of a plastic bag and inserted them into my ears, while leaning on my chest with his elbows and upper arms . He could have handed me the plugs, as I am quite capable of inserting them into my own ears . This was not an open MRI at all! . I became extremely claustrophobic after about 30 min and pushed the button he gave me to use if I needed help. He did not stop the machine nor he come to my aid , and after pushing the button multiple times I forcibly extracted myself from the machine! Why would , or should , anyone go to a radiology center not affiliated with a hospital? Most local hospitals in Bergen county have the technology . If you are sent to Affinity radiology, ask your self and your doctor "WHY " and make sure to get a satisfactory answer before going .

Let me say this first, the MRI tech (female) is an absolute sweetheart and wish I could rate her as…read morea 5 on her own. The reason why I give it 3 stars is cause they're not coordinated. We've been there a total of 4 times between myself and my girlfriend for a car accident. I went in early and was taken in on time and was quick. However, the 3 times my gf has been there has been just ridiculous. We came in an hour early for her first visit to fill out the forms and get her ID copied. (Typical for first time patients). We weren't seen for 1.5 hours AFTER her initial appointment mind you we were there an hour early already so we were there 3 hours total for a 45 minute test because it was the lumbar spine and foot. Skip to the 3rd time for her and here's where I got pissed off. My gf had aggravated her neck injury to where she was nauseous at times, vomiting and burning pain between her shoulders because her spinal cord was being pinched by the herniated disc. I made sure to get there on time for 630am appointment. They called the day before to see if we could change to 9am but I told them absolutely not because she had an X-ray appointment 45 minutes away in Hoboken. Guess they double booked her time slot after we booked ours already so they were trying to move one or the other. We get there 1st and someone came in after us. I'm guessing the other 630. They take him FIRST! Mind you, my gf had to take the pain meds she was prescribed to just MAKE the drive there from the pain let alone have to lay down on the table for her MRI. 45 minutes later her pain meds wear off and she's in pain and vomiting. The MRI tech remembered her and said why didn't they tell her the extent of her symptoms because her exam would've taken 10 minutes cause the guy who was allowed to go ahead of us was 45 minutes long. She had my gf sit next to her and tried to keep her calm while I drove to a gas station to get her big gulp cups of ice to put in a ziplock bag to help with her pain because they ran out of ice packs. Had to be on empty for them for a while cause the whole shelf was empty. Come back she's done already and sitting with the tech cause it was dark in her area rather than sitting in the lit waiting room which had me so grateful because she didn't have to do so. Also, on the 1st visit, they never handed her back her drivers license and out of habit of never really needing to pull it out, we assumed it was given back. 3 whole weeks not knowing they never gave it back. They didn't call to say hey, the drivers license was left in the copy machine. Not until I made my date for an MRI did I ask hey was a drivers license left behind did they say oh yea. They didn't follow the doctor's prescription correctly and missed half of the MRI order for my face and neck, only performing the orbits scan. After realizing their mistake, they contacted me to apologize and assured me that they would correct it at their cost. However, they went ahead and charged me twice instead. To make matters worse, they didn't ensure prior authorization with my insurance before the MRI, causing the insurance to deny coverage. Their negligence and lack of communication have cost me significant time, money, and stress. I'm now fighting with both the clinic and insurance for what should have been a straightforward procedure. This place is only interested in squeezing money out of patients, regardless of health or wellbeing. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. They explained that my type of imaging needed to be cleared by insurance and they had a specific wait time for that - which is probably why the website wouldn't let me make a next day appointment. When I came in for my appointment, I only had to wait about 10 minutes before I was brought into the main MRI room. I came in for an ankle MRI, but I have other medical issues that warrant bi-annual brain MRIs. I'm used to a metal detector in front of the door and having to change completely. It was weird for me to have them take my word that I didn't have any metal on me so I didn't have to change and my purse was just casually put on a nearby counter top. So I wish they explained that more to me in the moment. The techs were super friendly and the process was over quickly. I highly recommend this location!

This practice was exactly what she needed. The visits were extremely thorough, she never felt for a moment that she was being rushed. She met with every doctor in the practice and each time her questions and concers were really fully addressed and she never left feeling confused or uneasy as she had at the previous practice. Raizy is an incredible person to have in your corner during pregnancy and on delivery day. She was advocating for everything my wife needed and was genuinely invested in her success. At the end of it all, Dr. Ratzersdorfer was the hero on delivery day. He really went above and beyond in paying attention to all of the small details and spent hours and a ton of effort to reposition the baby and successfully performed the VBAC that my wife wanted a fair shot at. I can't say enough good things. These folks are professional and genuinely good people who run a traditional medical practice the way it should be, before corporate medicine took everything over and ruined the field. I contacted this urgent care after experiencing significant stomach pain from a medication that was…read moreprescribed to me and called to ask about alternative options. After multiple delayed callbacks, the physician eventually spoke with me by phone. When I asked reasonable follow-up questions about medication side effects, the conversation escalated. The physician became verbally aggressive, stated there was nothing further the urgent care could do, and originally refused to provide her name. The call was then handed over to the manager, who immediately raised her voice, spoke over me, accused me of demanding medications, and continued escalating the interaction. When I stated that the call was being recorded, she incorrectly claimed this was illegal in New Jersey, used profanity, and abruptly ended the call. I was calling as a sick patient trying to discuss side effects and treatment options. The way this situation was handled was unprofessional and disappointing. The fact that this is how they treat sick patients who are just asking a few questions is very telling about the "care" they provide.
