Great place for board games! Amazing staff, spent 20 minutes with me answering my questions about several different games. Best part is that they have a game rental system, so that I can try out new games before spending lots of money on them! I will definitely go back there for future board game purchases. read more

I love this store. It's great for teachers, gamers, kids, whathaveyou. Lots of great resources for educators, I've gotten some great stuff for teaching English at home and stocked up before going teaching English overseas. They also give discounts to teachers, so have some documentation handy when you go in. I could spend hours at this store, there is just so much to see and browse and play with. Being a science geek, I love this store. I can't wait for my daughter to get older so we can play some of the many math and science oriented games this store has to offer. A large selection of educational, but not boring, toys for infants through high-school. Lots of stuff for adults as well. Puzzles, thinking games, card games. Even raw material to make your own games. They will be moving in the near future, development in Maple Leaf marches on, but they don't know where yet. We went to a Lego party on Saturday and it was super fun. My girls have never really been into Legos so I didn't know if it would be fun for them. But they had so much fun, the adults even had fun! The employee was really nice and great with the kids. read more

This place is great. They have a plethora of books, games, toys, and kits in a wide range of subjects. They also have a program with basically equates to ten percent off (spend $100 get $10 in store credit). A great place to go to challenge your kids. read more

TEACHERS listen up. This is a great place to get learning materials and the staff is very helpful. There is such a huge variety of things I could have hing out for hours on end. There are so many learning interactive items for any age groups. there are tons of games and activities and other items to work on with or with out others. Wonderful local shop. Filled with so many awesome and unique games and toys. Just go and explore. This is THE only store to buy toys at! Tons of Lego and games that keep kids minds at work. Our "active" 5 yr old boy loves playing Rush Hour - a game about moving busses, trucks, and cars out of the way so the ice cream truck can get out of traffic. Math 'n' Stuff is amazing. It's packed with well chosen games, puzzles, books and related amusements. It's the kind of toy store nerdy adults can spend hours in. My girlfriend has to drag me out of there. Contrary to what the lone negative review up here said, I have found the staff to be way friendly, relaxed and helpful. In fact the first time i was in there, the owner spent a good twenty minutes chatting with me and graciously showing me around the shelves and introducing me to her favorite games and puzzles. can't wait to go back next time I'm in seattle. read more

Love love love this store. It has a truly thrilling selection of puzzles, games, science kits, and math supplies. I will buy ALL of our kid birthday gifts there for now on. The prices are very reasonable, and I can find a LOT of fascinating stuff there in one convenient place. This makes shopping easy & feel like exploration. I've been in twice & found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. I do notice a bit of social awkwardness from some staff, but hey, it's a math store & they don' t need to try to sell anything to me. I'm not there to buy a car. Today I noticed a staff member assisting a mother in finding ideas for her two sons, a second clerk assist at the register when the line became longish, and smiles & pleasantries from several of the staff. I'm GLAD that no one followed me around the store to ask if they could help me find anything, for I hate feeling pressured or watched. I like to shop in leisure. My experience was perfect. The point is, it's a fun place to explore & the people are just fine. I highly recommend this store. read more

The employees are always super helpful and enthusiastic, and many have been there for years so they know their stuff (...and their math). Amazing concept store that should be advertised in EVERY local school. Fun math everywhere and amazingly helpful (and educated!) staff. What a treat. Check their hours and bring the kids. This place seems to have it all! My kids love to go here for new releases of Magic the Gathering cards among many other things. Their prices are very competitive for a small business and Friday night Magic is a great place for kids to go and spend a few hours with friends.
