Mitch came in with a great bid, and that included an arborist report (Martinez is a Tree City and requires a permit to remove certain trees), tree removal in two days, stump grinding, and clean-up. We kept the mulch/bark, and Mitch had half of it unloaded on our driveway for easy access, while graciously helping us donate the remaining half to a local park that uses it for mulch around fruit trees. These guys are great. We had two large trees that needed to be removed. Their bid was reasonable (better than some of the other local companies). They showed up early to set up and they expertly removed the two trees within a couple of hours. There were a lot of very large branches that they managed to lower by using a very controlled technique with ropes. It was obvious they knew what they were doing. They also cleaned up and left the yard and driveway looking better than when they arrived. The team was pleasant, quiet, tidy and quick. We hired Mathers to remove a leaning Oak tree on our property. Mitch gave a great bid which included an arborist report, as Concord requires it since it was a protected tree. The crew arrived right on time and had the tree removed, and another one trimmed by the afternoon. Great company. I called for an estimate on having a big tall cypress tree removed and Mitchell came out and said probably about 300 dollars. He said he could come back in two days to take it out if I wished. They arrived a bit early and the job was done in less than an hour. They cut the tree, ground the stump up, cleaned up and left...super efficient and friendly. They let my 8 year old watch the whole thing . Mathers just finished trimming our old oak tree. We are thrilled. It was leaning over the master bedroom & we really didn't want it gone. It provides a lot of shade in the summer.
