The restaurant was empty when we arrived. Since it was our first time, we needed a moment to look over the menu, as we stood in line, we were asked 3 times if we knew what we wanted. Of course, I didn't, but then started to feel rushed and had to just pick something. (The staff here seemed annoyed to be working.) We both ordered and then sat, waited about 10 min before the food was ready. The food came out, and everything looked ok. The steak and shrimp option I had was good, steak was seasoned well, and looked how I liked it. The boneless chicken Jason has was so bland, and dried out he didn't even finish it. The chicken was very thin, which I felt was the reason it was dry, unfortunately he hated everything lol. I thought it was ok, however, I can only give 3 stars because I didn't feel welcomed, staff were not friendly. Restaurant was clean from what I saw, the drinks stations were out of service for the night, so I assume fountain drinks were not being served, only bottle and can options.

I ordered the steak lomo saltado, which comes with two sides--I chose white rice and French fries. Unfortunately, when I got home, I realized the fries were missing and had been replaced with corn without any notice or explanation. On top of that, for the price of the meal, I expected a more generous portion of steak. The serving was so small that it was barely enough for my child, let alone enough to share. Overall, between the missing item and the skimpy portion, it just wasn't worth it. I won't be returning.

We were told to sit anywhere, which was fine, but then we ordered 2 waters and a passion fruit margarita and waited almost 30 minutes just to get them. On top of that, the drink order was wrong. She served us what tasted like salty mango juice -- and I say "juice" because there was absolutely no alcohol in it. Then we ordered a simple meal: a few chicken tacos, pork tacos, and an order of chicharrón. Somehow that still took 30-45 minutes, and the order was missing items when it finally arrived. That's crazy for an order of 4 chicken tacos and 4 pork tacos. The tacos honestly weren't even that good either. The only thing that was actually good was the chicharrón. People always say "good food takes time," and sure, that's understandable when a restaurant is busy. But this place wasn't even halfway full. There were plenty of open tables inside and outside, so the wait made no sense -- especially considering the food wasn't worth it.

I had a great time the first time, and yep it's still that girl. Let's talk about the vibe real quick. The ambiance is everything. Modern, and just really well put together. From the furniture textures to the contrast in colors it all feels super intentional but still chill. Like, they knew what they were doing when they designed this place. 10/10 on the setting alone. Let's get down to the items shall we? What We Had Drinks ____________________ + Naori Signature Drink ($15) : 8.4/10 This one's made with Pisco Berries and Triple Sec. It's a layered, fruity cocktail that's a little more complex. Personally, I prefer the Pisco Sour it's cleaner and more balanced for my taste. But if you like citrusy and berry-forward drinks, you might love this one. Again, these are my reviews based on my taste buds. You might feel differently and that's ok honey. + Espresso Martini ($16) : 9/10 Strong, chocolatey, and gets the job done. + Lychee Martini ($16) : 8.6/10 Clean and balanced. Not too sweet, just smooth and refreshing + Pisco Sour ($16) : 10/10 My fave. Fruity, with this nice cold foam on top. Pretty sure there were peach or passionfruit notes in there. So good. * Shots - We also did a round (Don Julio, I think), and it kept the vibe going. Appetizers/Entrees __________________ +Nikkei Tiradito ($19) : 10/10 Thin tuna slices with a shouyu sauce that had a little citrusy kick. I could've had another plate just for myself. +Grilled Octopus ($20) : 8.4/10 This was good! Cooked well, had a nice char. Not my favorite thing on the table, but still strong comes with Peruvian corn and potato. +Arroz Chaufa Special ($24) : 10/10 Babyyy this dish was everything. Wok-fried rice, perfectly seasoned. That filet was so tender, and the shrimp just brought it all together. Easy standing ovation for me. * Dessert - I honestly can't remember what we ordered for dessert, but it was decent. Nothing crazy. I'd give it a 7/10. Overall Experience: 10/10 Customer Service: 10/10 Would I Be Back? Without a doubt. I even told my mom about this place and I think she went a couple months ago! This establishment has been Tamied™.

I thought the food was done super fast and maybe it was the same exact food, but I was completely wrong. I asked can I see the old food that I brought back? I ordered the half chicken meal (white meat) with yellow rice (instead of white rice) and beans. It came with plantains and a fountain drink. I was impressed the meals were served on ceramic plates. I definitely did not expect that but appreciated it. I loved my chicken. It was really flavorful. I snagged a bite of the chicken from the chicken fajitas and that was really good too. I am not a fan of plantains, but I always want to taste one. I thought they were ok, like others I have eaten. I ended up eating them all, so I guess I did like them haha The yellow rice was pretty good and the beans could have had more flavor. They also offer a bar with lots of onion choices. I was unsure if I would like these but I actually loved them. The sauces on the onions were really tasty. I also really liked all three sauces on the table, especially the cilantro one. I like La Granja and will be back.
