Long story short it was a great experience. I should mention I've worked in and around hospitals much of my adult life. This facility was well equipped and convenient but it's the people that make or break an organization. Everyone was friendly, professional and helpful. There were two standouts: Cathy was one of the nurses and really went out of her way to make me comfortable. She had me laughing too. Adam was the nurse anesthetist who gave me a nerve block along with the rest of the anesthesia. What can I say, I didn't feel a thing! But he talked me through everything in advance and also afterwards. We talked about his military time where he obviously gained a wealth of experience. I would definitely recommend this facility to family and friends!

Finally, I see a lot of rant from fellow Yelpers about long wait times. Well , I am at the doctor's clinic and not at a Salon for haircut. So if I am asked to wait , I wait. Maybe its the plexi glass but seemed like they could have spoken louder at checkin which would have helped move it along and get us all to treatment quicker. Dr Moen js 10 stars. Literally the best doctor I've encountered ever. My son broke his wrist and she was able to operate on him in Seattle then cast him in Issaquah a couple days later. She was too Notch and patient and covered most our questions before we even would ask them. She was also quick and efficient and has put my son on a fast track to recovery. There was confusion only from mychart where we didnt realize we needed to go to imaging first. But she alone is the reason I would give Swedish Issaquah a 10. The gift shop reminded me of a high end hallmark boutique. I could have stayed in there for hours. The starbucks was stocked and moved fast. But I understand things happen- that isn't even why I'm writing a poor review. Now there is some highlights at this hospital and I'm going to name them because they deserve it- unfortunately there was a nurse and cnas who ruined the whole experience. I will name them as well Upon check in Beth was the sweetest receptionist- she was reassuring and kind Once checked in and going thru all the pre op stuff I was lucky to have Chelsea. Chelsea was nice, comforting and fun. After my 9 hour surgery I was put on the 3rd floor where I was initially pretty out of it and in pain and nurse Olga helped with that right away to do her best to make me comfortable. Unfortunately, Olga had to leave for the night and that is when I experienced the worst nurse I have ever had. Nurse Emma. She talks nicely but she doesn't care about the patient. I was in extreme pain with medicine wearing off and my body had been through a lot... she told me she couldn't offer me any more pain meds and something about me going home. Which was the last thing on my mind when I was in such pain. She kept gaslighting me- in a very sweet voice mind you- I was in the most pain of my life. (And I've had 2 vaginal deliveries an ectopic pregnancy surgery and kidney stones etc) I was having extreme shooting pain and something wasn't right. She told me, "it's okay to be in pain" my first night in the hospital after a 9 hour major surgery by the way. Maybe she gets off on watching people be in pain? I'm not sure what she had against me. Come to find out- she hasn't checked my drain at all. And it was full. Filling back inside of me. And that was the reason for my pain. Thank god for the lead nurse- a nice Indian woman who treated me with dignity and respect. (Maybe Ferisha?) Who helped fixed the problem and even gave me a popsicle haha Emma told me she couldn't schedule narcotics when I asked about her checking regularly instead of me waking to intense pain and maybe not- but I knew my doctor wanted me comfortable and compared to the other nurses she was the only one who would not regularly come in to check or offer. She would straight up say she can't give me dilated (sp).. and okay she can give me 5mg of oxy and then in 2 hours give me 5 more instead of 10mg every 4. She treated me like a criminal. Or drug addict. Guess who never came back after the 2 hours. She was absent. After a 9 hour major surgery she was absent during the evening and when I was in pain she simply did not care and maybe even liked it. As soon as Olga came in for her morning shift she immediately changed things and made sure I was receiving pain medication. She gave me dilated and would check on me regularly. She is a nurse who cares. I learned this hospital trip you have to advocate for yourself- even if you feel bad pressing the nurse button. I requested to not have Emma again. Although it made me feel really bad for whoever would get her. And my doctor was so mad that I was denied pain relief. She said she was going to say I should have the tap administered type whenever I am uncomfortable but she trusted the nurses. Big mistake- it really was the worst time of my life. A nightmare. I ended up staying 2 more nights in the hospital. I was lucky enough to have Kristina the next 2 nights and Olga during the day again. Both are competent and caring nurses. Olga does a lot and doesn't have much support. Olga advocated for me and I felt overall very supported by her. Thankyou Olga. Kristina tolerated me well. And was very willing to get ice and make sure I was comfortable. My favorite staff member? Kaili. Who is a nurse but was working as an assistant my first full day. She brings energy, joy, care, fun, helpfulness and consideration. I wish I had her every day I was there! I wish she was my friend! Ha. She was amazing. She keeps your water filled and helps you. Response time via nurse button isn't timely- and they will scold you if your pee isn't clear enough and that you need to drink more water but keeping your water cup filled is something you have to advocate for constantly. I also was shocked that most new to me nursing assistants didn't even know what I was there for. Like no one is reading the summaries between each shifts... communication and collaboration and overall care is lacking in some of the staff of the 3rd floor. Overall, I won't choose this hospital again for surgery and post op care. Their ER is good tho. Shoutout to Pete

I'll leave the kind of review I would have liked to find when I first Googled to find a treatment…read moreclinic: The fact that they take my insurance (Cigna) brought me to Quest, but I'm so glad it did because this has been the best thing I've ever done for myself. I've been on various antidepressants (Wellbutrin, Zoloft, Prozac, Cymbalta) over the years, and they helped, but only for a while before I had to switch again, and I don't remember any of them working as well or as quickly as Ketamine Therapy. It works differently from other depression treatments - all the others just evened my emotions out and numbed me, but it's easier to be productive and socialize instead of scrolling through the internet in bed all day. The bad: The Osmind App sent me a welcome email, but no way to get into the account, and the reset password button didn't work. It was easily resolved by calling and getting them to reset/send me a password. The good (from most important to just nice touches): Mitch is a certified anesthesiologist. I'm a patient with depression and anxiety, but chronic pain patients apparently take higher dosages, so that feels important. You're hooked up to an EKG, blood oxygen monitor, and blood pressure Cuff the whole time to monitor your vital signs. They've invested in great audio setups, comfortable electric reclining chairs, heated/weighted blankets, air purifiers in every room, etc. They make sure you're as comfortable as possible. The audio/music - I can't imagine how many hours Hayley has spent curating playlists to help guide you through the treatment. They're a great resource, and she gave me her username so I can listen to them at home after my treatments. The music plays in the room when you walk in, and on the headphones during your treatment session. Hayley and Mitch are just really kind and caring people. Call it good energy, friendly, relatable, whatever you want - they take the time to listen and genuinely care and want to help. You can reach someone anytime by hitting a button on the table next to you. They will check on you during your session, but you're mostly alone. Whenever I've needed to speak with Mitch or Hayley, I've just hit the button (it lights up to let you know they've been notified), and they're always there immediately. Before you begin your treatment, Mitch will place the IV (He's great, you'll barely feel it) and give you some anti-nausea meds through the IV. He will also give you some oral anti-nausea meds after your session if needed. Each patient gets their own eye mask. It's usually sitting in the treatment room waiting for me when I get there, but one session, they forgot it, and when they brought it into the room, it was in a Ziplock bag with my name on it, which I thought was really great for sanitary purposes. Scheduling has been easy. I arrange my appointments over text. The waiting area is nice and spa-like. You're not supposed to eat or drink anything for several hours before your treatment, so it's nice that they have water, tea, coffee, and candy available after sessions. Parking is easy, and their office is in an office park. I also don't really see other patients, so I don't know if they stagger patient sessions, but either way, it's very discreet. What it's like: It's different for everyone, but I enter a dreamlike state. I can still focus enough to lift the blindfold and check the time or something, but I have a better experience when I go where my mind takes me. *Uber or have someone else drive you. You do not want to be behind the wheel after your treatment. The feeling is similar to being drunk.

They truly care about their patients it means…read moregiving them a hug for reassurance or an extra blanket for comfort, Mitch has the absolute best bedside manner I am a very hard stick and he goes above and beyond to make sure he can get IV access in the least painful way possible, he customizes the doses of medication specifically for you if your feeling anxious he provides medication for that as well as for nausea and pain he really gives individualized care and never makes you feel rushed if you need to talk to him about anything either my life has been completely changed by ketamine I have gone off all anxiety medication which I was previously prescribed benzodiazepines 3 times a day my migraines have significantly improved as well as my lupus symptoms which was just a bonus because the main reason I went for treatment was for my bipolar,anxiety and ptsd which have all improved my day to day enjoyment of life and just doing simple tasks by over 80% I'm so thankful for quest ketamine and the amazing environment they provide their patients you do not feel like you stepped into a doctors office you feel like your going into your own cozy room with a warm blanket and treating your problems in the best way possible thank you quest ketamine for changing my life!!!!

Reminds me of my time in the Navy as a field medic. Same level as my fellow corpsmen. Attentive, respectful, listens to what's going on, as well as diagnosing and evaluating, because a lot of these conditions are, at least initially, by touch-and-feel. Then go for the further diagnoses, to narrow it down. The bottom line is, they aren't a "churn them out as fast as you can," clinic, like larger hospitals like Evergreen (which does have excellent staff as well, they can just get overwhelmed). They do have an on-site surgery ward. They may have to pull in anesthesiology from out-of-house, but they know some of the best, so they pull in the best. My condition was compounded, bilateral Morton's Neuroma, with Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome. It was a nightmare. They literally saved my life. The pain was to the point of suicidal. The benefit I had, was knowing medical terminology, anatomy, and being able discuss everything on, maybe not quite equal terms, but near-to. Dr. Nelson and his staff are a dream-team. When I say they don't, "churn them out as fast as they can," it doesn't mean they waste effort. They're just very experience. Do what needs to be done, without making you wait. Large hospitals, like I said, Evergreen, which is great, can have you on a waiting list for a month, where as Issaquah Foot and Ankle will have you in the next week, or as soon as available. If I were to compare them to anything, it'd be a frontier clinic, where the best go to treat people the best they can, treat their patients on a personal level, without having to deal with an overwhelming client base. As for surgical scheduling. As I mentioned, they bring in anesthesiologists from other clinics, as far away as southern California, so they have to schedule around their schedules. Other hospitals, it can take months. Another reviewer mentioned how they were referred to diagnosis specialists. There's one I went to in Tacoma. Electrical Skeletal-Muscular Diagnosis, wherein, it's like having a car electronics diagnostic given, which shows where there's impedance, or anomalies in the nerves. Nailed it. In any case, they're a little out-of-the-way, not too far, but if you want a team that knows what they're doing, go with them, before having to wait a month just to get an exam. This is, a bit long, as reviews go, I guess, but they're worth it. As to the complications of surgery involving general sedation, of *course* they'll require you to have someone to pick you up. You're pretty out-of-it for awhile after. Driving in those conditions would be dangerous to both yourself, and others, not to mention risking all the work done on the feet afterwards. I suppose there's medical transportation as an option. In my case, I had a friend who drove me from the clinic to home, and I needed some help.

Ask for all potential charges before receiving any care here, even with in network insurance. $490 for a foot brace! I repeat - $494.75 for a small foot brace, I kid you not. I had some pain in my heel lasting for a couple weeks and thought "let's get it checked out". Saw Dr Tim Young for a 15 minute, middle of the road appointment - he recommended stretching more (yes, stretching!) and to wear a foot brace at night. Ok, fine suggestions although pretty basic and to be expected. A few weeks later my bill came and I kid you not this is what was billed by this company: New patient appt: $330 Time for the visit: $180 Ankle brace: $480! Random charge I can't yet determine: $180 If you're counting, that is $1170 for a honest to god 15 min appt, where again the main recommendation was to stretch my calf more. Shameful and appalling.
