Getting treatment at Matrix has helped a lot of people in the Drug Court program and others who need to get sober.

Carmen also took the time to alert us to a potential issue with my mom's medical insurance that could have impacted her continued stay and care at Heritage Park after the first week. Understanding how sensitive and life changing this situation was for our family, especially concerning my mom's overall well being, Carmen approached everything with genuine care and professionalism. She helped us clearly understand the potential impact and guided us through possible solutions. Her knowledge, experience, and willingness to advocate for what was best for my mom truly became the calm in the storm we needed. Thanks to her guidance and expertise, we were able to resolve the issue within 24 hours. Carmen has been an absolute pleasure to work with, and we truly appreciate the care, attention, and support she provided in making our transition into Heritage Park seamless. My mom has been at Heritage Park Skilled Nursing for a little over a week, and the professionalism, kindness, and compassion shown by the entire administrative and healthcare staff have made her experience extremely comforting. The level of care, attention to detail, and commitment to providing the best service have been very reassuring. We feel extremely confident that my mom is in the best hands here. The entire Heritage Park staff has been amazing and a pleasure to work with. Working with Anna Alcaraz, Director of Social Services, has been both a pleasure and very insightful. She has played a key role in helping our family obtain resources for legal authorization such as Power of Attorney, as well as guidance for current and future healthcare support and housing or placement services tailored to my mom's needs. My mom has also shared how much she enjoys her physical and occupational therapy sessions and how friendly and supportive the staff has been. The nursing staff has been very attentive to my mom's needs, always taking the time to listen, explain treatments, and address any concerns. Overall, our experience at Heritage Park has been exceptional.

My 94 year old aunt was having a painful transition and they took her with hospice (Cambridge). I was there for the few days and she was clean, dry and comfortable. Her room was peaceful and the nurses would come by to check on her and me often. One thing that's different here is the staff. They are staff that is invested and have spent awhile with Villa Mesa, this should be a continued goal of the management's part--there are residence that look better than many years ago from the last time I saw them when my employment ended and that is a huge testimony and the way it should be. The residence at Villa Mesa are thriving and well cared for. And even in a transitional period, my aunt was treated so well and so was I. Thank You all. Also, it really is the cleanest place too. Take it from another nurse who has instructed all around the Inland Empire, this place is a good, safe place and it's clean and their nurses are smart. All of these important requirements are hard to find but I am so fortunate to have found them during my Aunts stay. Thank You All, Bless your hearts.

We didn't hear from him for days in detox and with his previous experiences with going into psychosis from withdraws, we were concerned. Multiple family members called to get in contact with a nurse or case manager and never got a call back. We were stuck calling every hospital in the surrounding area to find his location. He is now out of detox and stuck at this facility because he is still on 16 MG of subs daily. This was a concern prior to him going to detox there and SU cares assured us that it is a 7-10 day sub detox ONLY. They did not taper him off of subs while in detox. I am a recovering addict myself and cannot comprehend why they push the use of subs while out of detox- he is going to be absolutely screwed when he gets out and does not have access. This should be a safe place to learn how to handle cravings and get legit SOBER time. He needs a Dr. note sent to DUI class. If he doesn't get it in this week, he will need to go back to court. There has been absolutely no help or urgency from staff members. I understand that getting sober is a very individual process, but had my parents not been directly involved with my case manager- I would not have had the right support when I got out. Completely disappointed in this program and its lack of communication and services. He will be getting out of there soon. He also called multiple times prior to his intake day to ask specifics about vapes and cigarettes. NO answer to any of his messages. When he got there his packaged and brand new vape juices and vape was taken. They said they can only go to the smoke shop with cash. We tried to find a way to get money out or send the driver money. All options were denied. My family member was looking up lyfts home, until another client gave him a disposable vape. This place is under staffed. Please read ALL the reviews and seriously consider what you need from a facility to get and maintain your sobriety. This place is not it and is a complete money grab. Go to Desert Hot Springs or Hemet Valley Recovery Center.

My brother was provided with an intake assessment while being in a mental health unit, this place said they would help him. Once he arrived after being discharged from the hospital they said they could not take him. The inept staff sent him to a crisis center overnight to get his medications that the hospital failed to send him with, instead of getting their own psychiatrist to get a prescription for him, and then used this excuse that they could not accept him. They then state that they picked up my brother from the crisis center and no one verified my brother got the medications they sent him there for. He is not well and that's why we asked for the help. I am shocked at the unprofessionalism, gross negligence and I do not recommend for anyone to send their loved one here! I will be reporting them to The Joint Commission.

She had just been admitted the day before and the staff searched her bags upon admittance. This item must have been overlooked during the process. Although my daughter did not know this was in her bag, since the staff had repacked it for detox, the staff member made her leave at 8 pm that evening. I begged her to have some mercy especially since she was just admitted. Her answer was no. She barely received 24 hours of treatment. It seems kicking these people out that are trying to get sober shouldnt be so easy. I am curious what the recovery rate is with people accepted into IVRS and completing the program.

The RN evaluator is also caring, friendly and very capable. If family is involved and communicates they are willing to work with you for the care of the patient. The housekeeping staff is friendly and kind and always want to help. My mom needed doctor appointments and transportation and this was all arranged by the hardworking social worker. She handles the care meetings and coordinates care as if she was a case manager. She handles the hair salon and even additional nursing attention as needed. She walks around and checks in on patients. At discharge she handled all the needed items for home care and worked hard to advocate for my mom. Admission staff was awesome. They were very welcoming and made sure she had coverage with her insurance. They are great to work with. The doctor that oversees the facility was not easy to communicate to in part due to her availability. She is a full time doctor seeing patients in her office during the day. She made an effort to call back after hours but my own schedule also got in the way. It would be best if the doc attended the care meetings upon admission so goals and care can be discussed clearly. It was difficult to pinpoint care plans. Staff would send message to doc that family want to discuss care and it was hard to receive info back quickly or at all. Maybe if the doc was present at limited but fixed hours on site it would help. PT/OT was good and made an honest and persistent effort to assist recovery. It helps if family is involved and asks questions regularly. My mom was independent prior to her medical issue so the goal was set to return her as close to that as possible. You have to make it known to them where she was before very clearly. Otherwise she may be released too early and becomes a fall risk. The food staff is very nice and concerned. They made an effort to give her Greek yogurt often for her digestion. The food is otherwise not very tasty or presentable and comes from the main facility. I'm sure the quality in Claremjnt Manor assisted living is better than in the rehab unit. My mom ate mostly in her room and so could not ask for extra items from the kitchen as those in the dining room. The dining room was filled with behabing persons that need assistance eating and this was hard to see for her to see while eating. She is a social person otherwise. I would definitely recommend this facility. They have helped her recover through 4 events in the past year and a half. No place is perfect but Claremont manor care center does a great job.
