I was in 2 days later (when it was convenient for me). When I was in, Jarid helped me and I have never had better customer service. He helped me right away and he managed to get me a WHOLE new seatbelt the DAY I ASKED. He not only kept me updated but he checked in with me after I left. He overall had PERFECT communication. He is very involved and understanding with his customers, I felt as if he was truly concerned about ME and not just the check. I will never go anywhere else to be helped. Very professional. Brought in my base Macan for the 10K maintenance. Getting answers to all my questions and setting an appointment was very easy. Jeremy was very patient with me and I could tell he was genuinely interested in giving me peace of mind. Their price for the oil change was almost half of the quote I received from Porsche Beaverton. They honored the appointment time and finished all services within the time window they promised. I contacted them again for the 20K maintenance. My 2015 Porsche 911 4S needed new rear brakes. I have always taken this Porsche and my previous ones to the Porsche dealership for service. The dealerships are a bit on the high side when it comes to pricing. Matrix is only a couple of blocks form my office, So I decided to give Matrix a try for my rear brake job. After picking up car there was a loud squeaking sound coming from the brakes. Before the brake job, they never made a sound. I called matrix and told them of the sounds, they said it might take a hundred miles or so for the sound to fade. At the time of my call I had already driven a least that amount, but decided to drive further. After close to a thousand miles the sound was still there, but not as loud. I called back and they said to bring it in. After they had my car for almost a day, they said they could not find anything wrong. Now I have driven about 2000 and sound is still there. Before taking it to these guys, they never made a sound. Now when drive up to stop sign I have to listen to my brakes making unpleasant noises. I guess you get what you pay for these days. I picked up a 2002 Boxster last year and have been struggling with the Canadian DRL (Daylight Running Lights). I bought the car from Canadians and believed it to be Canadian spec'd. I've done a lot of research on the problem of disengaging the DRLs and spent some money on it, too. I took it to a well-known Porsche auto repair center on the Eastside of town to have it looked at but all they wanted to do was upsell me on IMS and other stuff. I contacted Westside Matrix via email and Jeremy was more than happy to have a look at my issue. Operative word here is "my" issue. In the span of 30 minutes they figured out that I have an American spec'd car that was converted to Canadian spec and they were able to reverse that work and return my lights to a normal state. OK, probably not a big deal to them but it was to me. I had a 10am appointment and when I arrived they were ready to get started on it, right then. Just the fact that they got this done in 30 minutes is plenty enough to make me happy but get this --my bill was well under a Benjamin. Seriously, when was the last time you had an $80 Porsche repair bill (for anything other than a windshield wiper)? I know it'll never happen again but my service provider is now Westside Matrix. I have 2008 Mercedes S550 that made creaking sound when driving over speed bump. I worked with Pete. He promptly responded to email inquiry & estimate. He rode the car with me to reproduce the issue, made his assessment, explained clearly what to expect with the repair and provided regular update on the repair day. His estimate is spot on using OEM Mercedes part with reasonable labor cost. Pete also pointed couple other thing that the car will need work soon but he did not push to get the work done by his shop. He just pointed out the need. Pete is very professional, communicate clearly and great to work with. Because money is an issue, I left dealership service many years ago and have always been careful with the care /expense in owning my car... when Matrix opened a location in my neighborhood I was thrilled.. Their east side location wasn't good for me. I was an early customer and I am a dedicated one. I have always found the cost fair , the work precise, and the communication superior. My car always has a few issues on the horizon as it's ageing. Matrix has helped me nurse things along, never insisting on care until it's necessary. We work according to plan and my budget. For the most part your reply is accurate except in one area. I did not get updates on a regular basis. And they only worked on the car when they had time(that's why it took 6 weeks). I know it had many alterations on the car. But drove it for 5 years(before the cam broke) with no issues. My point was that I didn't feel like a priority but when they could get around to it. Different experience at a different shop for less. Also this review only applies to the Westside location. The main location had no issues and great customer service. read more

I called Matrix Integrated a few days ago to get an estimate for flushing the heater core on a 2001 VW. Every year or two the core clogs up and eventually no heat comes out. It's now February and the car is miserable to drive with no heat. The estimate I got was $50-70 lower than other shops, so I made the appointment and took the car in today. The waiting room was comfortable and quiet, so I could get some work done while waiting. After about 90 minutes the service manager, Pete, called me over to say the work was done. Right on schedule. I just about fell over when I got the bill: it was well below the estimate! I guess I was given a worst case estimate and they clearly charged only what the work required. That speaks volumes for their integrity. The heater is now cranking out lots of heat (150 degrees on max setting) and I will absolutely take my car back there the next time it needs service. Outstanding Service and Talented Technicians!!! My Grandson owns a Mini-Cooper and the Check Engine Light came on. Of course, this would only happen in the evening and the car was needed the next day. I searched for a great company with great reviews to work on his car and found Matrix Integrated. Once I found Matrix, I sent them an email. I noted they indicated they would try to get back in touch with me within one hour. Being the evening, that meant the first hour of the next morning of course. I indicated that I would be in a meeting until about 9:30 am but could bring it in anytime after 10:00 am if they had time to look at it. When I concluded my meeting at 9:30 am, I checked my email and guess what, an email from Matrix...received within the first hour of their day. The email said they were busy for any repairs that day, but if I would bring it in at 10:00 am, they would put it on the machine and diagnose it. I arrived exactly at 10:00 am, was greeted and they diagnosed the problem. Fortunately, I did not need to get it fixed that day, but the service level was outstanding. The Technician was extremely knowledgeable, explained to me (I am non-mechanical) in simple terms what the problem was and that it was fine to drive, but needed to be fixed soon. I would give Matrix Integrated 10 Stars. They have earned our business. We will be back...100% of the time. read more

We had some acceleration problems for some time in our 2001 Audi A4. While visiting in Portland, the problem became critical and we took the car to Matrix. I had my car repaired at Matrix Integrated the early part of this year. My check engine light was on and my X5 was making a loud squealing noise. After several trips back and forth with my car it was finally fixed. Well fast forward to this month, to be exact last weekend, I was on my way home from Lincoln City, my engine light came on again. I had to have my car towed home. Well the tow truck driver showed me where a belt, that was replaced in January/February sometime by Matrix Integrated was shredded into pieces, causing my car to lose all power. I called Pete Perez at Matrix first thing on Monday morning. Pete ask me to bring my car to him, because he guarantees his work for a year. Pete said, he would look at it. and If it's something he fixed that's damaged, he would honor his warranty. I had my car towed to Matrix for Pete to check it out. After a long week of working diligently on my car, Mr. Perez not only fixed what was damaged. He changed out parts to make sure I wouldn't have any further damage to my car engine. Not only did he repair it 100% covered by him, he buffed some white paint off my car where I scratched against a pole trying to park. I will also say, be humble and patient with your mechanic. I started using Matrix about two years ago for service on my Porsche. The local dealer had become more expensive than I considered reasonable. I chose Matrix after significant research and was not disappointed. They are excellent and knowledgeable. When I started using them the only location was off Macadam. The new Westside location is far more convenient for me. Recently the water pump went out on my 2007 Cayman. Matrix handled all repairs in a timely and professional manner. They also did scheduled service and noticed that a drive belt need to be replaced. All repairs were done at a reasonable price. They are my go to for future service and I will be moving my Audi there as well now that it is out of covered warranty service. Highly recommended. read more

My first experience with Matrix Westside repairing my ML 500, I had used the previous business at this location and was concerned with using someone new. I discussed the issues with Jeremy and he did a quick assessment and gave me a very good approximation of the problem with a fair estimate subject to change once they were sure. Much of the service on my 2003 A4 has been done by dealers, but when I recently needed new shocks, I decided to look at other shops. After some online research, I contacted Jeremy at Matrix for a quote. The price was reasonable, he was able to schedule the repair on short notice, and the work was done on-time and within the estimate. The day after the work was done, I drove the A4 to Bend for an extended stay. That was when the huge snow storm hit, and the roads quickly became incredibly rutted and uneven. The parking lot at Mt. Bachelor was even worse. The A4 performed remarkably in those conditions - rough ride but still controlled. If the old shocks had been on the car, I believe it would have been un-drivable. I was in Bend for over two weeks, so the timely repairs literally saved the entire trip. Based on this experience, I'll be returning to Matrix for all future service work. read more

After many years away from the Porsche scene, I found myself doing a great deal of research as to where to take my newly acquired 2002 996TT. Matrix Integrated was one a few shops in town with a spectacular reputation, and what started out as light correspondence with Jeremy at Matrix resulted in my giving them a chance with my Porsche. I am extremely happy with this decision. Jeremy and team simply went above and beyond in multiple areas. First, the team was extremely flexible in accommodating my work and travel schedule (I live at the coast), allowing me to drop off my car earlier than planned while also keeping it secure until I was able to pick it up. Second, Jeremy assisted in what I will call "parts forensics" as we attempted to understand the specific modifications which were completed on my car under prior ownership (including contacting prior shops which had worked on the car). Third, Jeremy was in constant communication with myself, giving daily updates as his team completed requested post-purchase inspection, problem-code troubleshooting and resulting maintenance and upgrades (AWE exhaust sounds amazing!). I would go as far to say Jeremy over-communicated with me, and I mean this in a great way. When all was said-and-done, everything was meticulously invoiced (important to folks like me), quite reasonably priced and the car was in the same condition as I left it.
