When the technician arrived, he recommended upgrading to an EV-specific outlet, explaining it was the better choice. I appreciated the recommendation, but I was disappointed that it increased the price by $100. I felt that option should have been discussed during the initial phone calls so I could make an informed decision before the appointment. After I posted my original review, the owner personally came back to my home to make things right. He offered to refund the $100 price difference, but I declined because I didn't feel it was fair after the work had already been completed. Instead, he replaced two breakers that genuinely needed replacement at no charge. I really respect a company that stands behind its work and makes the effort to address a customer's concerns. While I still believe the pricing options should have been explained upfront, I also believe it's important to recognize excellent customer service when a business takes responsibility and follows through. Because of how they handled the situation afterward, I'm happy to update my review and would not hesitate using them again. Thank you Sam and Robert!

They upgraded my NEMA 6-50 to NEMA 14-50 and also found out one of my breaker is going bad. They upgraded EV plug, changed out the breaker and added a surge protector. I had asked him to install a Tesla wall charger, but since I'm completely new to this, I made the mistake of not purchasing the charger ahead of time--I thought it was included with the installation (oops!). I was pretty bummed when I realized he couldn't proceed without it. Thankfully, I was able to purchase the charger the same day, and Nick was kind enough to come back later that same day to install it. That level of flexibility was amazing--I was so relieved I didn't have to reschedule. On top of that, he identified several burnt-out breakers and fixed them at a very reasonable price. He also recommended adding a surge protector, which I decided to go with. Overall, I felt really taken care of. After a thorough assessment, he honestly explained that while we would likely need a new system by the following summer, our current unit still had life left in it. Rather than pushing for a replacement, he recommended a repair and ordered the necessary part to keep it running. We received a text shortly afterward letting us know they could return on Monday to complete the installation. They arrived exactly when they said they would, installed the part, and got everything working properly. The entire process was quick, responsive, professional, and seamless. Fast forward to June 2026, and Mike was absolutely right. Our unit is now making the sounds he told us to expect when it reached the end of its useful life. His assessment from nearly a year ago proved to be spot on. Because of the honesty and integrity Schneider demonstrated then, the first company we're calling now is Schneider Heating and Air. Trustworthy people and companies are hard to find, but Schneider has earned our confidence and loyalty. They didn't try to sell us something we didn't need in 2025, and their honest advice allowed us to get another year of use from our system.
