Apparently the City of Chicago rules changed about suburban companies servicing the city for tows, and now requires a license and a fee. I was disappointed because their service was world's better than NorthShore. I bought guest passes on Sept. 16. But if they haven't been patrolling our lot, without EVER sending us an email or calling, for a month, what was the point of selling the passes to us. Waste of money. The owner and a tow truck driver said someone (Glenda?) was supposed to send an email to us, but we got absolutely nothing. The fact that we never sent a cancellation letter for a new company should've been the tip off. If not for the SUV parked in one of our spots, I have no idea how long it would've taken them to tell us. I noticed communication was all over the place anyway. One lady on the phone (still unsure if it was Glenda) would tell me to text pictures of the car that needs to be towed instead of taking the info down herself. The owner, who usually sounded like he wanted to do anything but answer the phone, would still take the info via phone. Cris was responsive, but he also gave me another number to call and would follow-up to see who was working that night. (I felt bad about this because I always seemed to need his help on off days.) When a tow request was overnight and I'd call in the morning, the owner told me on a couple of occasions he didn't know what was going on. Nobody seems to know what the next person is doing. I'll give the company 5 stars for Cris. He always was quick to respond, followed up and efficient. Kelly was at first and then again later on, so I'll give him 4 stars. (He tolerated my dog who had a case of the Zoomies.) I think the team is nice overall and STILL would've rather worked with them than another towing company, but I give it 3 stars due to disorganization and mediocre communication.

He is very professional and personable, with a soothing manner during what wa a very scary experience with Mac trucks whizziing by us on the shoulder at 70+mile / hour. First on the scene was Hawks' large semi (the size of a commercial moving van) which parked behind us and placed bright orange "warning structures" on the ground to warn the oncoming traffic to slow down becuase there was an "accident".. As a result, my elderly mother and I felt very safe and in good hands as we sat in Hawk's clean, comforatble tow truck while Mike loaded our car onto his tow truck's flat bed. Mike was especially gentle and caring in the manner in whch he helped my mother get into his clean, comfortable tow truck.
