No pain medication helped, and it was clear the tooth was badly infected. First thing Monday morning, I searched for dental offices open on holiday (Martin Luther King), and his office was the closest available. From the very first moment, I felt taken care of. Rosa at the front desk was incredibly kind and compassionate, she truly understood my situation and welcomed me in immediately. The entire experience was exceptional. I felt no pain from the injections and no pain during the extraction itself. I honestly couldn't believe it. At one point I even asked, "Is it all done?" -- and when he said "Yes," I was so relieved I started laughing. The tooth was severely infected, and extraction was the only option, but the process was completely smooth and stress-free. This office delivers professionalism, compassion, skill, and true patient care. I was greeted upon entering the office and was introduced to all members at the front desk. I was given what was basically a pricing sheet for services the office provided as they relate to my particular insurance. I appreciated this to circumvent any questions or surprises. The dental assistant called my name, introduced herself, and provided an introduction to the practice itself. She showcased the accreditation of all three doctors (also father , son and daughter) as well as a photo walking the family. There was a little welcome gift bag in my exam chair with some small person hygiene items. The dental assistant took the time to ask about me and made me feel valued. The cleaning and exam was done by the patriarch of the practice. His mannerism and knowledge is precise and comfy at the same time. It was a great experience and happy to say that this is an an example of a door opening when another has shut.
