I, personally, find Matt to be friendly and knowledgeable and above all honest! That's a stellar combination, imo... I think his prices are reasonable and in this economy probably have to be. It's a tough market currently, I feel if you can find, as I have, a jeweler who you can work with you to make special occasions more special, go for it! As another reviewer stated, you are not rushed, you're greeted well and with respect with all of the employees as well. I have been going to this jewelers for a few years now and have never had any issue. The latest project was a combination of a repair and a new setting and a new piece made to coordinate! Matt gave me an incredible direction with his creativity and I found it within my budget so I went with it ,although I hadn't planned on any new pieces. I am thrilled... I recently got engaged and my fiancé proposed with my great grandmother's ring which was very simple. I took it to Matt along with what my dream engagement ring looked like. I asked him if he'd be able to use the stone from my great grandma's ring and incorporate it into my dream ring. He said no problem. Matt designed a custom engagement ring for me that I could not be happier with! He took his time to show me many different diamonds and explained how the quality and size affects the price. I was not ready to pull the trigger right away, and there was no pressure. He said to let him know when I was ready and we would go from there. Once he started the process he showed me pictures of what the ring looked like, and once finally seeing it in person I could not be more pleased!
