Recently stopped into my local Mattress Depot to check out a couple beds, shop around town, get pricing, etc. After getting help from Bill, he showed me some great beds, lots of information on each. Suggestions and recommendations as well. I knew then and there I am going to buy from these guys. Very professional and knowledgeable group. Before my bed could be delivered, I called back to purchase a second bed and worked with Shane. He was equally great and helpful with my second purchase. Couldn't have found a better set of salesmen than Bill and Shane. On the day of delivery, Corey and Eli showed up with our mattresses and carefully delivered them to our rooms and hauled away the old beds. One of the mattresses I wanted to keep and they bagged it up so I could store in my garage. They were very willing to go above and beyond getting everything up and downstairs and couldn't have been more appreciative with their positivity and hard work. I've already got my eye on the Aireloom mattress for my master bedroom. That baby's next in my home. It's the Cadillac of mattresses and Mattress Depot usually has a great sale on them as well as the other ones I was shopping for. Def stop by the Guide Meridian store in Bellingham. Service is second to none. Bob has sold me two beds over the years. We got a great discount for being repeat customers. We were able to upgrade quite a bit. Our new mattress was for our master bedroom. We had it delivered and old mattress hauled away at a great valve. Drivers were on time and very quick polite and professional. Edit after the reply from the business: The only thing that changed in my bed is the frame. you have actually made my confidence in your company even worse. There is zero chance that I would give any more money to this company. Look at most of the reviews here, they are more than a few years old. It seems like something happened and they no longer provide good service to customers. I bought a mattress frame a few days ago from this company. After sleeping on it for a few days both my wife and I are having terrible back issues that we have never had with this same mattress on our old frame. The new frame is much much stiffer than our old frame and we didn't have any way to know that until after using it. I called the company to talk about a return which they say is just not possible. They said that its not even possible to talk to the owner about an exception. They did offer that I could exchange it for an even more expensive frame but I have a hard time putting more money in with zero guarantee that it would be any better. At this point I have zero faith in this company. I completely understand not taking returns on a mattress that has been used but this is the mattress frame, it is something that they could absolutely still sell. I try to shop local and support small businesses and that normally works really well but in this case its incredibly poor customer service. I strongly suggest steering towards a larger retailer that actually supports customers and understands that not every product is a perfect fit for everyone. read more

Absolutely superb customer service!!! Shane is a very easy going, professional, and hassle free sales guy. Didn't feel pressured into buying a particular mattress. He was honest, straight to the point, no bullshit. My sister and I tried a few beds. They have such a great variety! I've learned from experience that brand names mean nothing when it comes to bed buying...it really is ALL about the feel! And I ended up finding MY perfect fit! Ended up getting the firm full set Restonic mattress, which is one of their firmmest and lightest mattresses. Just threw everything in the back of the truck and Shane helped. Forgot about the tie downs, but Shane once again came to the rescue! I would recommend checking them out prior to going next door. Last time I bought my bed was from Sleep Country and it was three times the price. Why spend more when you can still get a great set, with the full 10 year warranty, at an amazing price?? Why????? The door may be open, but Shane is the 'boss' and he was impolite and dismissive. He was clear that one exchange is his policy regardless of circumstances. Because I didn't have another several hundred dollars more to spend that day I was given one (1) other choice. It's a small store with minimal selection. I'm stuck with an uncomfortable mattress. Take it or leave it, no discussion. No payment plan option for an upgrade. Nothing but an attitude from Shane that he was far too busy to even have a discussion with me. I'd LOVE a solution - am out $500.00 for a momentary lapse in my judgement. Expensive mistake. read more

Was finally able to upgrade to a king size mattress which I didn't think would be in our budget! They have a good selection and the customer service was outstanding even though our choice was based on preference. I went to exchange my mattress that I bought 15 days ago because it was giving me back pain. I was told I was not only going to have to pay the difference of the new mattress (which I totally understand) but the "everyday" price and not the "sales" price that they were selling it for and was listed on the mattress. I said fine, after that he called his boss to okay the exchange. He said because they threw in a mattress cover for free and a discounted pillow last time, that I would have to pay full price for those items and the difference between the mattresses at the "everyday" price. All of a sudden the price went from $267 to $407. It was ridiculous. I said I wouldn't pay that and I would return the mattress cover and the pillow. He said they don't take returns on accessories. Luckily, I had brought a male friend along and by this time he was getting upset because it was obvious they were trying to take advantage of me. After he talked to the salesman he called his boss back again. Now his boss says I can have the mattress for the extra $267 (which is still $267 more than the sales price they are actual selling the mattress for) but I can only take the floor model. This was totally not part of the exchange agreement I signed up for and said forget it. I took my mattress home and now I have a $1700.00 mattress that gives me back pain. Oh and I forgot to add that they overcharged my credit card in the first place and had to refund me $32.61 which I didn't catch until I was trying to exchange the mattress and the numbers weren't adding up. I have called the corporate office and they said they can't do anything because this store is a privately owned by Shane Rowe. I will make sure I tell all of my nursing friends, doctors, and relatives to stay away from this place. They are dishonest and morally corrupt. read more

At time of purchase we we're promised that they would take our old bed and set up the new bed. I told them that it was a sleep number bed at time of purchase but when they got here they told me they don't take those and would not set up the bed. I missed three hours of work because they wouldn't set it up. I would give zero but the stars only star at one. read more

Outstanding service and excellent care thanks to Bill! Our Restonic king bed began developing an odd, deep dip in the middle. This dip was 4in deep and made it difficult to sleep well. We spoke with Bill and he walked us through applying for the warranty through Restonic (15 year warranty and we've owned it for less than 3 with no damage....). They denied the claim, saying it was not covered. Bill did everything he could and they refused to do anything despite our issue being covered under the warranty. He then had us apply with the mattress cover company. They too said no. Yet again, Bill went to bat for us (this has been an ongoing issue for 6 months now). When he was unable to make these companies actually honor the warranties they claim, he offered us the equivalent in store credit towards a new bed. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! Bill and this company owed us nothing. They had our money and any other company would have shrugged and tried to make another sale. Instead, Bill is continuing to pursue this issue with these companies to make them see it is not acceptable to treat his customers in this way. I guarantee you we will only be doing business with Bill and Matress Depot. We will never, ever purchase Restonic again despite them being a local company. read more

Kind if a sham ! MD advertised a mattress on craigslist. When we got to the store the sales AssocIate said his boss placed those ads, and he did not know anything about them. I brought up the ad on my cell, he said, oh yeah, that one ~ said he only had a few left, then he said he had two, then, oh ya, that is the last one ! When we asked how many coils the mattress had he shrugged, laughed, and said, " I have no idea" ! This looked like a bait & switch, at any rate he was most unhelpful, also the delivery fee was high. He kept insisting he could tie it on the roof of our car, ah, no, not when the several competitors within a mile deliver for free. Just say NO to this place and check the neighborhood for better deals and better sales associates ! read more
