It's not everyday that you experience customer service excellence and today I have. From the initial telephone contact to the Mattress Firm Abilene Store to the delivery of our new king size mattress, it was simply an outstanding experience. When you are asked if you would be willing to refer others to their store, I can easily say, without hesitation. Upon arriving the store, the friendly and knowledgeable staff greeted us and took us through the 101's of mattress purchasing. We learned much about how our needs in a mattress translated into the perfect mattress for us. I want to thank our Sales Person, Melissa, who is amazing! Our daughter needed a mattress set and frame. My husband and I were only going to be in town for the day so he called ahead and spoke to Melissa. She was extremely helpful and even assisted with applying for financing before we got there. On the day we arrived Melissa wasn't at the store, but Kevin Sanford assisted us and was amazing! He guided us to just what we needed by telling our daughter the best way to test the mattresses. He explained the differences in all the options we had for the mattress and the box springs and made the decision so easy. He was also able to give us a wonderful price on everything we bought. We have shopped at this store since 2014. Each encounter with their sales team has been stellar. We first came here when we were looking for a Tempur-pedic cooling mattress. The store we were attempting to buy from had given us the run-around... And then canceled our order. By the time we arrived here we were more than frustrated. The manager, Nik, and the sales woman jumped over hoops to make sure we had a mattress quickly and they beat the previous stores prices by a significant amount. When we needed to get mattresses for a new bunkbed, we didn't think twice about where to go. After our second experience, we made the decision to only shop with them when we needed mattresses. My boyfriend and I had been DREADING buying a new bed mainly because we thought the process would be awful. We stopped in at mattress firm on a whim and had the best experience. We worked with Melissa and she was AWESOME. She asked us a few questions and then had us lie down on a few beds. We told her our thoughts and she took us to right where we needed to be. We only had to try about 5 beds thanks to her expertise and knowing how to direct us to the best fit. She was super helpful, kind and knowledgeable. Not to mention was able to offer us great financing so we arent having to pay for the entire thing up front. One word ....KEVIN he's the man that cares about makings you happy not his commission ! If you are tired of pretentious sales men that tell you what you want to hear just to make the sell than this is ground zero for old school moral righteousness like in the 50s and 60's ! He sat down and listened to our needs and pick the absolute best product for our needs. While not pushing the top of the line most expensive. Gave me a price and when I explained how much we could spend without breaking us he makes a phone call and pitches a much much lower price to his boss and got us out the door. First of all I just want to start with this was one of the best experiences I have ever had. It was my fiancé and I first time to go mattress testing and Melissa made it the easiest and most carefree thing ever. She took time to tell us about each mattress that was in our comfort zone. She let us test them all and go back to the ones we really liked. I can say that I didn't feel like she was pushy or anything. She is very understanding and easy to talk to. We are new to town and needed a new mattress for our son. We stopped at a few places and Mattress Firm was our last stop. We were shown several mattresses and offered some great deals. We ended up buying a mattress and box spring for our son. Then we even decided that it was time to replace our bed as well. So, we bought a new mattress and adjustable base. As a college student, I appreciate his effort to save me money, he reduced the price of my box spring by 20% because it was a display yet was still brand new in the bag.
