We popped into 3 Matters Firm shops before buying at this location. All the sales people seemed to know their way around a mattress, but in this one Joseph found the "model" we were looking for in another in a warehouse and shipped it to his store. I took off a star for attempts to upsell. We melt into the medium firm Ashaway Plush Beautyrest mattress. All our family members that have checked out our new guest room have commented on how comfortable it is! Pro tip: Mattress Firm charges $99 to deliver. Collin greeted us with a friendly welcome, was SO knowledgable about all of the different mattresses & did an excellent job of helping us narrow down what would be best for our desires in a mattress & our needs! The store has stopped updating me and I emailed customer service as stated in review response with no resolution or even a response. Terrible, unprofessional, and extremely disappointing. I will never shop a mattress firm store ever! Spoke to corral and Duncan and also store manager at sister store. All have been extremely understanding. Can't get a call back from district manager Lisa since December 26 I'm left no option but to start filing complaints. I got a call from the third-party delivery yesterday from a manager named Ryan and his follow up is it as poor as the district manager. He promised I would get a call back yesterday yet no phone call.I even called corporate and left a message last week with no follow up again startreading the better business reviews it appears that this is very typical of mattress firm. I cannot believe that in this day and age a company would treat people home like this.be aware do your research and do not shop with this company it seems like from top down it is a train wreck. lease read this. Mattress Firm is a dishonorable seller of mattresses, and they lie and cheat their customers to get the sale. This happened to me at the Covington Store. They said we could return everything is 30 days if we did not like it and said there would be no problems. His name was Colin. Then it got escalated to Sonny, the store manager at the Tukwila Store that provided us a refund and said that there would be no problem from this point forward. We also bought a 2nd mattress from him to replace the one that was so bad, and they would not deliver that to us tonight. Tonight, they came to deliver our new mattress that we purchased from them last Wednesday and they accused me on peeing on the mattress being returned. There delivery drivers did not speak English, so it was difficult to talk to them and they did not take any pictures. They left for the second time of accusing us of wrongdoing. Do not do business with them. Go to Costco where your safe from there way of doing business which is terrible. Please tell you neighbors and friends to steer clear of these people. Thy are awful to deal with and they don't respond back to you. They got the money and the sale and that's all they are about. Nothing else. There general manager Kyle Vrooman assured me that today would go Smooth. He said call me is there were any problems. He did not answer and did not reply to emails. Buyer beware! I was sold a full mattress labeled as, and sold as a queen. The mattress is a full! I asked if it was small when in the store as it looked slightly smaller, but I don't know by sight personally, I was told "nope, it's a standard queen." I am not one for reviews; however, on Thursday January 19, approximately 4:50pm, I received the worst customer service that I've ever experienced. I walked into Mattress Firm to see if there was a mattress topper there. I was greeted by an approximately 6'2", dark hair, in their 20's male. At first, it started off nice. You didn't sell mattress toppers, so I asked about a mattress. He asked me how do I sleep. I said, usually on my side or back, and my boyfriend sleeps on his stomach. He interrupts me and says rudely, "did I ask you about your boyfriend? I'm asking about you. I don't care how your boyfriend sleeps. He's not here, is he? I have couples who come in all the time. Their husbands and boyfriends don't show up. If your boyfriend wanted to be here, he would've showed up. I'll tell you he doesn't care because he'd be here if he did." Let me say, first of all, my boyfriend was at work and I was looking for a bed that would be comfortable for us both. Secondly, your employee needs to learn respect because he's lucky he didn't say that to someone who has a hot temper. I am thoroughly disgusted by his behavior. I hope he doesn't believe he can continue disrespecting women in this manner. Additionally, I hope mattress firm will implement training, so other people do not receive the same treatment that I did. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped by knowing very little about mattresses. Colin was very knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly explain all the different features. He had us test out a variety of different mattresses and explained which ones would give us quality sleep and why. We had a great experience here and didn't feel pressured at any time. Rude employees...wont ever come back here. My Boyfriend and I went to go return our bed and the guy had no info for us. He didn't know anything about the return process. We kept asking him questons and his response was I don't know. We got a free bed frame with our purchase and I asked him if we got to keep it, he snapped back and said "not unless you want to pay for it" This place is a joke. WHAT A NIGHTMARE! Michael, the store manager, was very nice and helpful. His coworkers definitely need him. Joe, is possibly the worst one there. IF I were to go back, it'd be to walk directly past him and give my commission to someone else. I wish I would've returned the bed before it got delivered. I'm currently in the process of returning the frame. I have a billing address and a shipping address. That are stated on all invoices. I received a 20 minute arrival call so I prepared everything so it was easy for the drivers because they're nice and deserve a break. The store sent them to the billing address. They don't know when they'll be here if at all today. I think I'm going to go drop it off in their showroom. Joe can deal with it. read more

The most annoying salesman ever! My wife and I walked in to look at mattresses and the salesman would not end his sales pitch long enough to try mattresses out. I had to cut him off mid sentence just to grab my wife and leave. I didn't even feel a single mattress before I left. It was honestly a 15 minute drive to hear a 10+ minute sales pitch. I was there to buy a mattress I didn't even need to be sold on buying a mattress. It was worse that dealing with a car salesmen. I ended up buying a mattress from an online company and it was so easy, stress free, and had an extra long trial period. Definitely the way to go. read more

When my husband and I first walked in Joe was extremely helpful. Once we picked out the bed we wanted and were doing the paperwork, he tried to sell us their $120 mattress cover. When I told him I have been very happy with and have no issues with the $60 mattress covers I've gotten from Amazon, he became extremely rude and obnoxious. The customer service was extremely well, the woman working was very knowledgeable and friendly so this has nothing to do with that. My issue is with the bed frame and headboard. It got delivered days after the tracking number said it would be here. Inconvenient, but whatever. It finally arrives, and the man who is delivering it is "afraid" of my dog. (My dog is a little on the bigger side but he would never bark and he looks extremely nice) My boyfriend is the one who answered the door and he tried explaining to the man that the dog was friendly but if it was an issue, he would just lock the dog outside. but when the delivery man saw the dog, he refused to even step foot inside to help get the boxes inside, he just dropped them off outside and left without another word. at this point i get angry that we paid $80 for this to be delivered when it was just dropped off at the door. i tried calling customer service and was just told that it's a separate vendor and there's nothing they can do now since someone already drove out here. basically it's not their problem and they hung up. i am extremely angry and unsatisfied. i will never go back to a mattress firm, nor will i recommend anyone to! read more
