Great service! I came in looking for new mattresses for my home. We had a split California King and full bed that needed replacement so we came by the Mattress Firm on Sisk Road. We were greeted by the friendly and incredibly knowledgeable store manager who started helping us immediately. We explained that we were unsure how or if we wanted to go about replacing the split Cal King since it is an expensive Sleep Number bed that could be repaired. The store manager kindly gave us a bunch of informed options. He completely understood where we were coming from, providing options for keeping the bed split and informed us we could keep the same adjustable base and frame we currently have without replacing the entire structure. We ultimately decided that the best choice for us would be to simply have it repaired. He did an amazing job at outlining the costs, describing the differences between firmness levels, and advising us on the types of beds that suit our sleep style best. It was refreshing not having a salesperson tell us we need to purchase many unnecessary add-ons - he even encouraged us to utilize what we already have or not make the purchase at all. After telling him I am a side and stomach sleeper, he recommended a Sealy bed that I immediately fell in love with. He did not try to upsell the queen size from the full and respected our parameters (even though we did end up going with a queen size anyway). The store manager allowed us time to go out and find a new frame for the bed and come back later to finalize the purchase. He quickly got our delivery arranged in the time frame we requested, even including a bonus cover with the order. He told us that within a certain time period after purchase, if the price of the mattress we chose drops, we could get reimbursement. To our luck, the mattress was $100 off within the same week. We came back into the store and another friendly worker gave us the option of waiting for a check reimbursement in the mail or store credit, so we opted to buy a cozy sheet set with the credit. We came in today to buy a twin mattress for our daughter because we recently purchased her a big girl bed. When we came in we were greeted by Drew and he asked what we were looking for. He helped us select a nice and comfy mattress for our daughter. We were able to test it out and chose the thicker mattress. There was also sanitizer and masks as you enter the front sliding doors. Luckily, the mattress we chose to buy was in stock at the store and we were able to take it home. Also, it was half off and we got a great deal! The checkout process was quick and easy. Wonderful customer service!! I needed help with a upholstered bed that I purchased. Didn't know if I needed a box spring or a foundation. I explained what I was looking for and told them I'm trying to keep the price down. They recommended a bunky board . I had no idea what that was and no other mattress store had ever mentioned about a bunky board. Instead was trying to sell me a expensive box spring. The employee informed me if I wasn't looking to add height to the bed then he recommends this. And it was only $100. Ordering was very easy and bed was ready a few days later for pickup. They do offer delivery but picking up was a better option for me. I really like this business because they are honest. They are not just trying to sell me something to make money. Sales man was nice and helpful set up everything for us and got our delivery scheduled, I paid 149.99 for there platinum service so they can set up the bed and take the old mattress and 109.99 for a mattress protector. On delivery day they didn't take the old mattress and they didn't bring the mattress protector either. "This bed is too hard...this bed is too soft...this bed is just right." I was in the market for a new mattress as my old one was causing me so many fitful night's sleep. I heard numerous radio ads about Sleep Train and there is one near my house so I took my tired and sore body to perform mattress tests. The store is pretty large and they have a wide selection of brands and types of mattresses. I really was not a mattress connoisseur. I just wanted something comfy and that wouldn't cause me to lose beauty sleep. The sales staff were all really friendly and not overly pushy either. We are in town to sell a house. But we are looking to replace our 25 year old mattress, so went bed shopping. And so it was that we met Ray Gonzales when we wandered into Mattress Discounters. It was a quiet Friday, and the store was empty save for Ray. We told him that we were out-of-towners and only shopping so we could learn our options. And so a really nice learning event took place, Lynn and I laying at the feet of the master as we went through the many mattress and bedding options. Ray knows his mattresses and as any great sales person does, he did not sell, but answered our questions, responded to our statements and encouraged us to compare and contrast the various options. And there are many there and we learned a lot. It was a shame to not simply buy from Ray as he deserved our business. Instead, we will return to SC and conclude our purchasing at a Serta store, using Ray's tutoring. We will ask if Ray can get a referral, as it is richly deserved. Purchased a Beautyrest, $1,000. After two weeks both sides were sagging. Mattress Firm will not discuss until you have slept on it 21 days. Now, 21 days and sagging even more. To return it is a 20% restocking fee (guess they are going to pawn it off on someone else) and a $99 fee. To exchange it is a 10% restocking fee and a $99 fee. This is obviously a defective mattress. Customer service was rude and offered no help other than to file a warranty claim. To do so....take a picture of every tag (about 6 of them) take a picture of the mattress. Lay something long across the mattress, print out some paper measuring device to prove it sags more than 1 1/2 inch (they will not honor a warranty until it sags this much) take more photos. Remove the mattress from the frame and take a picture of the frame. Upload all into your warranty claim and they will review and get back to you within 30 days. They do not stand behind the merchandise they sell and I don't feel I should be financially penalized for a defective product. read more

On Saturday 10/1/2021 i walked into this store to help my disabled dad pick out a mattress. $2200 later we had them scheduled to install his new bed the next day and remove the old mattresses. They didn't do what was promised or paid for. They left his old mattress in the front lawn and left his new setup all packaged up in his living room. My severely disabled dad slept on the couch that night because they didn't follow through. I called them to complain and they were rude to me! They said there was bedbugs on his old mattress when there wasn't! Paid $120 for Clark to come out and verify that we don't have a bedbug infestation and the old mattress had a dead spider on it. After doing our homework, we set out to find "the perfect mattress." We thought we had a good idea of what we wanted/needed. There is a huge difference between DIY and talking to someone who knows what they are talking about. We learned so much more from Hani and Ray about sleep positions and mattress choices. We now are proud owners of a wonderful sleep system, and have no doubt the great effect it will have on our health. My husband has sleep apnea and uses a machine; I have scoliosis. We decided on the Emergence Plush mattress and a moveable base (head and feet adjust). Feeling very good about our purchase. BEWARE! Do not buy their adjustable power base unless you are ABSOLUTELY certain you want it and can use it. So we bought a mattress and they offered a free (head only) adjustable. Then the (very good) salesman was able to talk me into upgrading to their best adjustable base. However, as soon as we tried it we learned we could not use it and called immediately to send it back. So far the answer has been no. They claim it is not returnable because the electronics cannot be sanitized! This is a bunch of crap! Airlines do it on every plane between flights! Think about the display screens at every seat that people touch. AND, it's not like we touch the base when we sleep. The only people who have touched it are their delivery team who didn't wear gloves and left our front door open letting our dog out! If my dog had been killed on Orangeburg they would be facing a lawsuit in addition to this bad review. read more

I was in the market for a new mattress and after hearing all the commercials for Sleep Train, I was excited to check it out. The quality of mattresses they carry are awesome! There is something for everyone. Even Tempurpedics. Very clean store. Friendly staff. Delivery was great and friendly. They made a bit of mistake on my pillow, but Colton is a star employee and went out of his way to rectify it immediatley. He even offered to deliver it himself to my house!!! Who does that anymore?? I will never go anywhere else. I will tell all my friends about this store. You really shouldn't shop anywhere else for a mattress. Price match, warranty, selection and white carpet customer service....what else do you need? We purchased a Cal-king mattress & two pillows here a few weeks ago. We went into the store wanting to purchase a Tempurpedic. The associate who helped us was knowledgeable and walked us through the entire line of Tempurpedic and explained the attributes of each mattress as we tried them out. He was very patient as we tried each one and then tried them all again just to be sure. We ended up buying the mid-range model and never felt pressured to buy anything at all. The Tempurpedic pillows were included free with purchase of the mattress and they are awesome! There is a selection of pillows and the associate also walked us through the advantages & disadvantages of each one as we tested them out. The salesman was quick to advise us that the Tempurpedics take some getting used to and our new mattress wasn't going to feel as soft initially as the floor models did. He also explained to us the entire return policy & warranty in detail prior to completing the purchase. Extra points for the kids' corner with a movie on the TV and toys to play with! Kept my kids busy for the entire time we shopped. Delivery was done the next day for free and our old mattress was removed. The delivery was prompt and courteous. Walked in last night, cash in hand, ready to buy a bed. The young lady running the store was initially on her cell phone, so I patiently waited, for about 5 minutes. She finally got off the phone and approached me. I told her what I was looking for. Then, the store phone rang. She was on the phone, arguing with a customer about delivery for no less than 15 minutes. There was no one else in the store to assist, so I walked out, without having made a purchase. Very disappointing. I do not fault the young lady for taking the company phone call, but, she should have let them know, "I'm with a customer and will call you right back." This was not that type of place. I went in there fully expecting that type of treatment but the lady at the store was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. I gave 1 star because they were so nice to me when I ordered and paid for my bed, but this is as far as it goes. Promised that we would get our order on Monday, the 19th of November, we purchased almost immediately. The 19th came and no delivery. We called and found out that Our $700 purchase never made it on the truck. My husband is a disabled veteran and now we won't have a bed for my son for the holidays because we live in Mariposa and they only deliver once a week up here. It was supposed to be delivered this Monday. Next Monday will be too late. Now we have to wait a week for the refund. I will never recommend this place.
