While the mattress I bought at this store was amazing and for a great price, the customer service was not. I told the store rep that I would not be approved for financing and he insisted I would when I told him my credit score. I finally gave in to allow him to run it. I asked MULTIPLE times if the inquiry would be a soft inquiry or hard. He reassured me it would just be a soft inquiry. I got a notification from credit karma the following day informing me that it was in fact a hard inquiry and dropped my credit score 25 points. When I called the store to tell him what happened he began yelling at me and not letting me speak, saying that I was lying and he never said that. After awhile of him yelling at me he hung up on me and ignored every call I made after that. read more

Worst customer service I've received in my life!! If I could give zero stars, I would. I'm really disgusted and upset with how I was treated. Came in fully prepared to buy a tempurpedic mattress today as I just moved to Virginia, really need a bed, and am 8 months pregnant, so I wanted to treat myself to something nice since I rest a lot! However, I was not acknowledged when entering the store (even though we were literally the only 3 people in the store). Came to Mattress Warehouse because I heard there was a system to "fit you" to a bed and wanted to see if there was something better for me than a tempurpedic. I started using the computer to start the "fit" and only then was I acknowledged and scolded for touching the computer when I "don't know what's going to happen". If it's not a self-help deal, put a sign that says please "wait for assistance" or at least acknowledge your customers when they come in. The machine ended up not working, and the man working there really didn't seem to want to help me and kept talking to me in a very rude tone. Blaming me that I was probably leaning on the bed during the setup, and that's why it didn't work. So I decided to look at the tempurpedics anyway, and then the salesman asked me what I was looking for. I told him I like tempurpedics, and instead of helping me choose which one is right for me, his response was, "you know they're expensive, right?" That was the last straw. He was just rude and horrible the entire time. Definitely would never give this place my business because of this. People like him don't belong in sales. read more

Unbeatable customer service, fast and customized delivery, great prices!! Seema and Abul were both incredibly helpful and did not rush us whatsoever to make a decision. They gave us a great deal and do price matching for the next year if there becomes a better deal anywhere else. We had shopped at a few other locations and came back to this one because of Seema :) I definitely recommend taking a few minutes to do the mattress simulation to see what kind of mattress is best for your body and sleeping style, and your partners. If you are looking to be treated like crap, you might want to visit this place. We visited mid week around 8:20PM and the first thing he was asking me is if I was planning to buy a mattress today. How on earth can I answer that question when I haven't even started to look at a particular mattress. Later, immediately he talked about closing the store and it was just 8:25PM by then (they close at 9). I asked for the most firm mattress in Tempurpedic and he showed us wrong ones and claims that is the firmest (looks like he did not have much knowledge about the products he was selling ). All that apart, guy was very impolite. Such a terrible experience. I will be visiting another mattress warehouse which had better customer service down in Sterling. read more

The Good: My husband and I went into the store to purchase a memory foam mattress a week ago and met with an associate named Gus. He was informative and patient and not one of those pushy salesmen. He helped us choose a mattress with an adjustable bed frame and was considerate with our budget. We left the store feeling like we got a good buy for a memory foam mattress. But, that is where the good ends. The Bad: The mattress was delivered in the time slot that was provided to us the night before (like 8:30p.m.), which kinda sucks that the time can't be provided earlier than the night before in case I don't have to take time off of work. However, once they arrived, the movers took a look at our bed frame and said that the adjustable mattress will not fit and that we either return the whole thing, get rid of our mattress furniture frame, or return the adjustable bed frame and order a box spring. We were stunned. Gus told us that it would fit in our platform bed, and the mattress movers said yea salesmen say that all the time and get it wrong. In utter disbelief, we asked if they could just leave the adjustable frame in our other room so that we can put it together ourselves after we take our bedframe down. They said they don't have time to help since they have to get to the next customer, and we need the adjustable bed that badly, plus we didn't want to spend an additional $300 on an upgraded adjustable that the movers said would fit. So we were going to remove our nice furniture bedframe, which would take some time, to be able to use the adjustable bedframe. That is how desperate we are for an adjustable. The Ugly: Then I asked if they were taking the old mattress and they said it wasn't in the ticket. When I looked at our receipt the movers were right, and I know I clearly said to Gus we wanted the mattress removal and he told us the cost was $30 and we said fine. So, I asked the movers if they could still take it and I will pay them with a tip, and they said yes. So, I gave them a huge tip for being somewhat helpful. And they left. But that is not the worst part. The worst part is that the adjustable bed fits in the furniture frame we have! My husband measured it, then installed it with his brother, and tried it, and it fits totally fine! No problems at all! So, the movers didn't even try to see if it would fit because that would take too much time. Their only concern was making it to the next customer even if that meant that they screwed us with a big tip. The movers hustled us. So, I can't recommend Mattress Warehouse at all. read more

Arrogant salesman sold my son a useless mattress which is really a box spring, when we called the store, the salesman said to us " I didn't force your son to buy it. I can't get guy a better matters for $100 more". We found better quality online. We highly regret stopping by this store!! read more

Hello Mattress Warehouse ! I've messaged you twice on Yelp Three times on your website chat emailed you twice and left 2 voice mails for customer service. So far, no one has responded....???? In the past I've purchased from Macy's for the MBR, and from Costco for the kids rooms. I've had good luck with both - good customer service at Macy's, and fantastic value at Costco. This go round, I decided to give Mattress Warehouse a try, as they were closer, but more important - I figured an associate from a Mattress store would be the more knowledgeable and helpful then a department store or big box store. I will be living with this purchase for 10+ years, I wanted to make the right choice. After two trips, and a couple of hours at Mattress Warehouse in Stone Ridge, we decided on a great mattress from Serta. The salesman upsold me on an adjustable frame - which I didn't really need, but figured it was a nice to have for late night binge watching. After spending $4,763.97 on mattress and frame - they are home and setup. The problem: * The mattress is a full foot - 12 INCHES TALLER THAN THE SETUP I TRIED OUT AND WAS SOLD AT THE STORE. * I am 5'5" inches tall, and I need a step stool to get into the bed. **WHAT I WAS SOLD IS NOT WHAT WAS DELIVERED. I relied on a bed/mattress expert for advice on my purchase. Now it's "bait and switch" time. If I want a bed that I was sold, I need to pay more money to Mattress Warehouse. What I've done so far - I've called customer service THREE TIMES - left three Voice mails (no return call). - Used Mattress Discounters online CHAT TWICE - each time they said someone would call me (they haven't). - I went to the store once and was told I could make an additional PURCHASE to resolve. - 2/13/17 - was promised on YELP chat that I would get a call to resolve - 2/15/17 - was promised again on Yelp chat that a manger would reach out to me - 2/16/17 - sent an email to MD per their request - 2/21/17 - I have not heard from MD - I sent them a THIRD Yelp message - 2/23/17 - talked to MD online chat, they said yet again someone would call me... I would not shop there! I went in on a Saturday to purchase a mattress and did so. I get home and did some research and decided I needed to cancel the order which I did promptly on Sunday morning when they opened. Abul, my sales person answered the phone, and offered to discount but after I said no he told me it would not be a problem and I would be refunded. I go in Monday to confirm in person the order was canceled and he said no; He wanted to wait to see if I could be tempted with free shipping. Total wrong in my book! If a customer asks for a refund that request should be honored. I've been checking my account for the refund and nothing was there, this is today, Friday. I go back to the store & was told the order was only canceled and no refund request was submitted. I called and was told the request would be walked over today for processing. I have zero faith this will happen. I will NEVER purchase from this store. Also, no Veterans Day discount! read more

We purchased a mattress and had it delivered, we noticed a fowl odor coming from the mattress, that continued for 3 days; we contacted the store, they sent us to customer service where we treated horrifically; I was hung up on and they told us it would take 2 days before they could send someone to investigate.
