So I just relocated to Indiana. I have an IN Driver's License now. I met a visitor from Ohio at the gun range and made an offer on 3 of his guns. I called the ATF in Indianapolis to ask how to legally buy the gun. The ATF told me to find a local FFL (Federal Firearms License) holder to do the transfer. I called three, one was closing for July 4th and couldn't do it before the guy went back to Ohio, another one said they only handled their OWN sales....and then I called Matt's that same day, on June 29, 2016...and he was incredibly RUDE! Matt told me that the only way the transfer would work was if I had the guy from Ohio go back to Ohio and MAIL the guns from another FFL in Ohio to Matt's Custom's Guns. I explained I called the AFT and they told me how to do it...and HE SAID THE ATF WAS WRONG!!! Seriously!!!???!!! The ATF is wrong? I don't think so. When I tried to explain how to do it again...according to the ATF, Matt called me a "know-it-all", told me I was wrong, and HUNG UP ON ME. So I called a nearby Pawn Shop in INDIANA...and they did the transfer no problem just as the ATF said I could. Words cannot express how rude and condescending Matt was to me on the phone. I was literally shocked by his words and attitude. Oh...for the record, I also bought another gun from the Pawn Shop while I was there. Yep. Matt will NEVER get a dime of my business. He hasn't a clue as to what customer service means! And, seriously, he thinks he knows more than the AFT agent in Indianapolis! This man is rude, offensive and seriously doesn't know what he can/cannot do with an FFL. I would NEVER buy a gun from someone who is so clueless!!! What a jerk! read more
