Yes, they filled out my solution based prescription in a reasonably quick amount of time. They did not tell me that they have a $60 minimum charge for Creating solution based medication. -BASICLY BUYER BEWARE- I've never paid more than $30 bucks for the solution before. I wish they gave me notice in advance about their pricing. . I was only told of the policy in a condescending manner when I raise the concern. I don't think I'm gonna use them again, which is unfortunate because they're convenient. On a sidenote, the last time I got a prescription filled from them about a year ago. I asked if they gave the Covid vaccine and the Owner pharmacist went on an unsolicited riff for about five minutes, telling me why he thought it was unsafe. I didn't ask for that information at this point we all know what the risks of the covid vaccine bosoters. It's kind of ironic because that day, he was complaining about the big pharmacy companies and how much they charge for the vaccine. Today I'm complaining about how much he charged me for the solution he and made and the additional profit he is making. I feel the $60 minimum compounding fee is arbitrary. It is not related to the cost of the medication or the effort that was made to create the solution. It should be told in advance to customers when they placed there prescriptions. read more

Staff here are very amazing. I needed a change with a prescription and they immediately helped me and corrected the order. Very professional and kind staff. Come here if you need certain things. I had to have a prescription transferred from another pharmacy and they called the other pharmacy and my prescription was transferred. So my order was filled in a timely manner. When I walked in I got my order right away. Drive if and noticed that I needed something more. Drive back to the pharmacy store to the pharmacist and he immediately changed my order to the correct quantity. It wasn't their mistake to begin with. So I give them 5 stars. Wow! Talk about amazing customer service... I was on vacation on the Big Island and needed a specialty prescription called in by my mainland doctor -- the day before Thanksgiving! Maui Pharmacy filled it, sent someone to the post office to mail it 2-day, and I received it at my hotel on Friday. Couldn't be more grateful!!!! read more

Love this place. Their prices are low, their staff is easy to work with, and they have been really helpful in a variety of scenarios, including when my CAT needed expensive insulin, off insurance. Really great people. Love how small it is, no big lines or drama. Highly recommend! read more

Needed some items in a pinch and they saved the day. We called around to a few pharmacies. Drove 15 min out of the way to go to this one. They had everything, were responsive, attentive when we called ahead to check their supply/inventory for the items we needed, and hassle free unlike the big chains. read more

Prices are reasonable and that is the only positive for this pharmacy. Customer service is horrendous. Don't expect your prescription to be filled after 12 days or to even be notified that your prescription is not ready with no ETA provided at all. The young man behind the counter raises his voice at me when I want a refund for being charged in full for a 3 months supply and given a 10 day supply upon initial presentation of rx, then accuses me of being rude. "Pharmacist" Glen comes out and apologizes but there is no apology from the rude young man behind the counter, just a sneer and laugh. This person deserves to be fired. Now I am out and have to hunt down another compounding pharmacy to get this filled. read more

The people working in the front are always very nice. However, I once had to speak to a pharmacist and he was very abrupt and rude.

I just went to Maui clinic pharmacy to fill a prescription from my dentist for antibiotics and pain medication. I presented my ID and insurance card to the man at the register, who went behind the counter and talked to a man that I couldn't see. I heard him say, "I don't know but we can try." The first man came back, then I heard the man behind the counter yell "Never mind, we can't fill it!" The man at the counter said, "Sorry, we're not taking any new patients with this insurance." I asked him how much it would cost if I paid cash. He said that I could not pay cash since I had insurance. I then asked him if he knew which pharmacy might except my insurance. He said no. Frustrated I said "great, thank you." At this point, the man hiding behind the counter started laughing hysterically. I've never been treated so rudely at any business on Maui, much less one that I would expect to have compassion for patients in pain. Even if they decide to accept my insurance in the future, I will definitely not be back. read more

Small and personable pharmacy. The parking is a little bothersome as it has a one way entrance and exit, but otherwise it's fine. The people who work here are friendly and helpful, I've never really had a problem with them or the business. The hours on the weekend are short but at least they're open on the weekend at all, y'know? So yeah overall not a bad place. I don't know why anyone would laugh at a customer like the other reviewer mentioned. They've always been nice to me with a smile. read more

I am very disappointed in this pharmacy. I have been a customer off and on since 1979. I recently went to ask for a specific brand of a specific drug because I am violently allergic to the generic brand of this particular drug. (break out in hives like I do with penicillin)They proceeded to tell me that although they do have this brand in stock, it is reserved for "regular customers" REALLY??? I have been doing business with them for over 30 years and because I have not needed this particular drug they will not sell it to me? Not a good pharmacy to work with. read more

I went to Maui Clinic Pharmacy to fill my prescription, when the the owner approached me and told me he only makes forty cents to fill my prescription. He advised me to call my medical carrier--which is HMSA--and tell them that he will not fill my prescription from this point on if they don't pay him more for filling that prescription, and when they call him to investigate, he would take it from there--hoping he could make them pay him more. Although this is NOT my problem, I called HMSA anyway and told them to call Maui Clinic Pharmacy and please straighten this out. They would not come to terms with the owner, and the next time I went to fill my prescription he refused to fill it. I think this is very bad customer service!! Talk about him only thinking of himself, and his own well being. There are certain prescriptions where I am sure he makes a pretty penny--especially having at least four staff members working each day he is open--on many other prescription, and there should be a give and take. Walmart or Costco would never turn me away because they are NOT making enough--they would take it up with HMSA themselves. This is very unprofessional, uncaring, and unloving! I just want all of you to know that Maui Clinic Pharmacy cares about no-one but themselves!!! We are in Hawaii where there is much Love and Aloha, and you will NOT find it at Maui Clinic Pharmacy.
