All he was attempting to do was a simple exchange within 1 hour but hadn't located his receipt. The manager recalled him being there and completed the transaction. We do appreciate her support and later located our receipt. Sadly the manager witnessed this poor example of an employee and we are seeking to discuss this experience with higher management and/or owner of this branch. No Aloha given so no aloha returned. If you live out in the country in Haiku, it's very convenient not to have to drive all the way into town. They have really good selection of garden supplies for organic gardening. The staff today were very friendly and helpful and loaded the stuff into my car for me. It's nothing glamorous, as the store is located in an old refurbished pineapple Cannery. So there's a lot of history here which makes it kind of interesting. People in Haiku really like to grow things, so tise store is very convenient and helpful for the community.

Located in the Pukalani Terrace shopping center, this hardware shop is located just next door from the Bank of Hawaii (Pukalani Branch). A few times while I was working at the both banks - Bank of Hawaii, as well as American Savings Bank, I needed a particular tool, or lubricant, and lucky for me this Ace Hardware store was just next door, so it was convenient for me where I could just walk over & get what I needed to properly finish up a job. I swear if this Ace Hardware store wasn't here, it would be very tragic for me, as I would have to get into my rental car & probably drive all the way back down to Kahului to get to the closest hardware store. This Ace Hardware store is by far not the biggest store (as compared to some of the big box hardware stores), but each time I needed something, this particular Ace Hardware store has never let me down by having the item I needed! Service here is great! If you can't find what you're looking for, no shame, just ask a clerk and they will lead you to the area where the item is. Parking for this hardware store is easy, as the Pukalani Terrace Shopping Center has a lot of parking. Need to get a tool to finish up a project? Take's had all the tools that I needed to complete the task I came to Molokai to do! Looking at Take's True Value...........it kinda reminded me of a smaller scale City Mill. This hardware store is locally owned, clean, and besides tools.........they also sold other items like sporting goods, plumbing items, & electrical items too! Lots of free parking in the private parking lot, but I didn't have to worry about parking, as I walked over to the store from the bank.
