There were a lot of different varieties it took a bit to give everything the once over, but the ladies working inside were super nice and answered all my questions and even helped direct me to find two button-up Hawaiian shirts that were on sale. After making my purchase they were even nice enough to throw some candy and a puka shell necklace for free. A nice touch. All in all, this was one of the better souvenir shops I visited while in Maui.

Most businesses open from 9am to 9pm. See individual businesses for specific days and hours. Approximately 4 places to eat - Cafe O'Lei, Beach Street, Maui Thai Bistro, and Southshore Grindz Eatery. Bathrooms are on the second floor, you need a code. Service - Good, depends on the business. Price - Depends on business. Owner Comment - No comment.

We came here due to wanting to try out the restaurant Lineage (see review). We shopped at island gourmet markets (an abc with more food options), blue ginger, whalers general store (my favorite as I got some souvenirs from here). They also have an added bonus of a strong Hawaiian culture dance and crafts program associated with the shopping center. See photo. It's too bad I didn't realize they had all these cultural programs earlier as I wanted to join in some of them. (I had gone over to whalers village to join a cultural craft program and no one knew anything about it). Will definitely come back here when I visit again!

The quality of clothing is terrible, but I have no choice so I proceeded to shop. When I went to check out, they told me they would not accept my credit card because I did not have a picture ID. Not carrying my entire purse to the beach, of course I did not have it. It was not as much what they said, but how they said it. Demeaning and disrespectful. Telling me that all others find it necessary for their safety, and what was wrong with me. Laughing at me and raising their voices. It was both employees there. They might hate their job or hate tourists. But please don't take it out on us.
