Fruit sampling at the end of the tour. So good!

My family of four did the morning tour with Andre and it was amazing! We toured the farm and learned so much about Mangoes and other fruits and eco farming. We were able to enjoy the yummy fruits- some of which I'd never seen or heard of before and at the end, we sat down for a lovely fruit sampling. I would definitely recommend going, as it's something different and enjoyable. Looking forward to visiting again when they expand their farm to table offerings soon!

Smita and Andre were such hospitable hosts! They welcomed us with flavorful mango lassi, history of the farm. It was very interesting and educational to learn about the natural and non-chemical methods of sustaining the farm. They have almost 30 different types of mangoes! We were surprised with fresh fruits at the end of the tour, plus many wonderful recommendations for our vacation here. Awesome time here

She was so excited as she had never seen an alpaca in real life before, and suddenly she was hands on feeding babies and moms!! She was soooo excited! Padma showed us how to refine the fleece and spin it and we had a go at carding too, and she answered all my questions with ease. It was fascinating to find out more about alpaca....did you know they only give birth during the day, usually in the morning ? The banana bread was melt in your mouth soft even when we had it later in the day. The chocolate chips were so well distributed and everything was so good. But still highly…read morerecommend, we had a great experience learning from the wonderfully knowledgeable Punakea Palms team and snacking along the way. Not much walking-- the most is from the entrance/cafe area to the field with an outlook, where you learn about how the Dole family rekt Lanai's natural environment to farm pineapples (kinda evil). Frankly, the history behind mass agriculture and farming is pretty bleak-- you can't help but feel a sense of injustice for the native Hawaiians. Our tour guide was thorough, objective, while empathetic. From thereafter, you're sitting under an overhang while listening to your tour guide explain the stages of coconut growth & trying the different pieces. We tried: - Coconut water - Coconut jelly - Coconut meat - Coconut shavings ... All from coconuts of varying ages, getting the chance to see how each tastes different from the other. Kai even popped by with a surprise: fresh palm hearts! My bf and I frequently use canned ones for salads-- the raw flavor blew our minds. The entire "tour" took around 1.5 hours. The cafe in front is charming, lovely drink & food offerings alongside a gift shop. You can tell that the staff here actually care about the history of Hawaii and respect the island.

It is really sad that Hawaii, which has an abundance of coconuts, gets coconuts flown in from Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines because the labor is cheaper there. Jeremy was the highlight of the tour teaching us so much about the benefits of coconuts. We tried young coconut water to more mature coconut water. We got to taste coconut meat and shavings of coconuts (it was a great moisturizer for the skin too) I'd highly recommend this tour and the cafe! Cute little place. Best thing to do in Maui & Lahaina, Hands-down! *. *. *…read moreWe had the most amazing time at Lahaina Goat Yoga. We had a group of 6 friends & were looking for a cool new Lahaina activity to do that's not in or on the water (we were so beyond water-logged at that point) & I'm so glad we found this place & decided to try something new & different. We originally found another Goat Yoga place thinking it was in Lahaina (due to the way the Ad read) so please don't be fooled! Luckily, we learned in time that it's nowhere near Lahaina & was all the way on the other side of the island--over an hour away from our hotel in Lahaina! We definitely did not want to drive that far, so we were thrilled when we found the real Lahaina Goat Yoga location, that is actually "in Lahaina." What a concept. The Maui Gods were watching over us that day because this ended up being such an amazing experience of a lifetime for our whole group, from beginning to end. The whole vibe there was awesome & u could feel the love as soon as you got there. Super chill, calming & Zen amongst the breathtaking natural Maui scenery. The peaceful beauty & Aloha spirit surrounds you on a beautiful quaint little farm right in the heart of Lahaina, overlooking the pristine turquoise ocean with the Emerald Green West Maui mountains as your backdrop. I didn't know what to expect with this & was admittedly kind of scared to do it at first. But, the goats were so cute & gentle & we laughed at their shenanigans so much until it hurt! We had the absolute BEST TIME! I'm so glad I booked this as it quickly became the highlight of our whole trip & definitely gave us the most laughs! Kim was such an amazing instructor too. Super bubbly & funny. She has a very kind, magnetic, warm personality & exudes a fun but calming, positive energy. I've had a lot of yoga teachers in the past, but she is extremely knowledgeable & knows her craft. She really connected with us all & was very helpful & patient with us as Newbies. We didn't want the fun to end so we stayed after for a while to talk, share stories, laugh some more & play with & feed all the cute goats. We even got to give the baby goats little bottles of milk! So, if you're looking for something new & exciting, that's adventurous & super fun, and leaves you feeling better than when you came in, sign up for a class the next time you're in Lahaina. You can't beat the price for an activity or excursion in that area & you will leave with a smile on your face, a renewed sense of self, a pep in your step & memories that will last a lifetime. My stomach still hurts from laughing so hard & this was such an amazing, fun experience. Thank you, Kim, Deb, Lahaina Goat Yoga & especially all my new little goat friends for sharing this experience & the true Aloha spirit with us. We will definitely be back for more laughs next year with new friends! Mahalo!

Mike was not only an expert in all things chocolate, but he is easy to understand, he takes time to teach you and answer any questions and he has a great personality! This tour is meant to expand your knowledge and change your perspective on how you think about, taste, and experience chocolate. At the end of the farm tour, you drive down to the gift shop (about a 3 min drive from the farm) to make any potential purchases as well as taste even more chocolate! What an amazing and unique experience in Honaka'a and 100% recommend adding this tour to your Big Island itinerary. P.S. my favorite chocolate bar is the barrel aged bourbon bar!!
