    Kids salmon poke bowl
    Julie W.

Poke all the way in Colorado? Yes please! I was a little skeptical at first because we are so far from an ocean out in Eagle, but I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh and delicious the fish was! The best part is that you get to make your own custom poke bowl. Rice or salad mix for a base, lots of fish choices, and so many yummy toppings. I highly recommend this place. The service was friendly and helpful too. The restaurant was clean and had plenty of seating and was kid friendly.

Poke bowl with seasoned ahi and salmon

This place is such a find! Fresh and delicious poke with lots of topping options. I had the ahi and spicy salmon with seaweed salad (would've liked more for $1 extra), pickled cucumber, carrots, rice, greens, pineapple, mandarin oranges, edamame, jalapeños, and crunchy onions and nori. Loved the balance of citrus, poke, and salty flavors. Service was very friendly, especially the guy helping us. Very clean. Easy to find off of i70. We will definitely be back!

The wind kicked up so we had to ask Subway next door if we could come in and eat. They did offer half orders, if the prices were on the menu we definitely would have done that.

Horrible Customer Service Experience directly from owner; Never visiting again:…read more I have been picking up dinner from Ekahi Grill in Gypsum about every month or two for about two years now. The food has always been good, the cashier at the front has been very friendly, and I enjoy supporting local businesses. For those reasons, I am very dissapointed to share that this business lacks any integrity and does not value its customers. On February 4th, I ordered online as typical. I ordered a full plate and a half plate. I arrived at the pick up window. The cashier came over with my order: Holding the full plate in a styrofoam container on the bottom, with the a plastic container for the half plate on top and no bag. As the cashier handed it over the window, and I grabbed the styrofoam container on the bottom by both sides, the stryofoam container immediately collapsed inwards and one of the fish sticks in the plate fell out. The cashier applogized and got tape to tape the top shut. He said do you need anything else and I picked up the fish stick from the ground to hand it to him for the trash. Then, I said asked if he could remake the fish stick and said I could come back in a few minutes to get it. He said to hold on and went and talked to somebody in the back, who I then learned was the Owner (I believe her name was Asia, or similar). He said that she said they would remake it, but I would have to pay $2 for the 'extra' fish stick. I explained that they handed me a defective, unproperly packed box and the fish stick fell out because the box was broken. Not after I left, but while I was being handed the food at the counter. He went and talked to her again and that the owner understands, but I still need to pay for the fish stick. I asked to speak to the Owner and was told no, she would not speak with me. I then said that I will be leaving a poor review and never coming back. (and left without the fish stick) For context, these are large fish sticks and four came with the food, so I lost 25% of the main part of the meal. Long story short, I would never reccomend anyone visits this restaurant.

You make the order at the counter and will get a text when the order is ready. We ordered a half chicken which would have been enough for us in general but the batter was so crispy and well seasoned that we were highly tempted to order a whole chicken just to take home with us to brag to other family. It was sooooo good! I am from South Korea and I know when my chicken is good. Even some Korean chicken franchise in Denver can't do this good. It will come with a sauce for dipping on the side. We chose the bird sauce and was perfect to dip or mix it in with a jasmine rice along with complementary herbs (basil, cilantros, etc) and cucumber salad. Plus their special soft serve of the day made it even more perfect. We had a coconut soft serve ice cream topped with caramel sauce which was very good. Not overwhelming just refreshing as a whole. This will be our place for sure whenever we pass by! Chicken and outer range hazy ipa were perfect match. I loved that they are existing together. We were starving and I regret so much for not taking the photos. Miss the place already

It looks creative in a way that they combine two different cuisines and cultures (Vietnamese and Japanese to say it exact) and yet what they came up with is nothing but a tourist trap place that lacks authenticity. It's on the second floor of a building. The restaurant is clean and spacious with ample tables and chairs. Since we were there well outside of the busy lunch hour, we got the employees' undue attention. And they were quite welcoming and friendly. The food? Meh. Everything we got lacked the true authenticity. -Lunch Nigiri: The four nigiris simply didn't look fresh. Fortunately however, they didn't taste bad. And yet the overall quality was mediocre at best. This combo plate came with a salad and a soup (called Japanese soup). The salad was the worst out of all where it looked and tasted old and stale. And the soup? It wasn't a miso soup. It's a clear broth soup. But my question was, "What's Japanese about it anyway?" -Agedashi tofu: They really need to work on the "presentation" more. This skimpy looking dish simply didn't look good. It surprisingly didn't taste bad but it failed to impress us. Another mediocre dish. -Thai tea with boba: My daughter didn't care for it at all. I took a sip of it. It tasted a bit too bitter where the tea appeared to have been over-brewed. Yikes! The three stars might be a bit too much of an inflated assessment. And yet I appreciated the friendliness of the employees so 1 additional star is the manifestation of my sincere gratitude to them.

I didn't ask any questions, just took the menu and stepped back as others had walked in and I didn't know what I wanted. It was a pretty self explanatory menu. On the back side they did have some new sections that said "coming soon". I wish there were more options for the base of the bowls, If there were I didn't see that on the menu. I did see that you could build your own but went with the first one on the menu. I sat in one of the chairs at the table. I was comfy. And I could see going with some friends or your family. I got mine to go. It only took about 10 mins. It was tasty and filling- and I would go again. Recommend going during the weekday late mornings, I got free parking out front (and I hear parking isn't the best these days in downtown evergreen). Plenty of parking on a Friday morning.
