Kedai is conveniently located in downtown Glenwood springs (please note it's on the second floor) so it was an easy choice as we craved some pho and ramen after spending all morning at the hot springs (and it was a cold day). The menu has lots of different options and we tried some appetizers (calamari and sushi) as well as Pho and spicy ramen noodle. Everything was pretty average. I thought the flavor was lacking. The egg was in my ramen was fully hardboiled (instead of soft boiled), which they forgot at first but then brought 1/2 of an egg after I asked about it. The service was very attentive and everyone was super nice but not sure I'd come here again.

Our family had dinner here while visiting Glenwood Springs for spring break. We went on a busy Friday night, but the wait for a table wasn't too long. It is upstairs in a building with other stores, which was an interesting location. The decor and atmosphere was fairly typical of a sushi focused restaurant, and had a great table around the sushi bar, another set alone bar, and several tables for regular dining. The menu has plenty of variety of noodles, soups, and other typical Asian dishes with a big emphasis on sushi. There is also a bento box option for a variety of things to include a selection of a classic roll. Two in our group ordered the bento boxes and one ordered the ramen. Let me tell you it is a struggle to talk my husband and son into eating sushi, but they enjoyed every piece we ordered! My son loved the ramen! For the most part, we enjoyed the bento boxes, but the teriyaki chicken felt like it was the fake chicken strips from a bag rather than freshly cooked real chicken breast. This why there are four stars instead of five. The service was phenomenal and the entire staff was a team for clearing plates, delivering food, and ensuring we were well cared for. Kedai is on the must visit again list when we are back in Glenwood!

Very friendly Japanese restaurant, absolutely charming servers, nice upstairs location, so a fun view of town. Delicious fish, sumptuous ramen.

Crazy roll--omitted the cucumber and substituted jalapeño. Amazing!

Service was attentive and quick. I liked that he repeated back the order and I typically don't. My guest recommended the soy wrapper for the sushi. He once lived in Japan and apparently this is an always option at sushi restaurants. It has changed my life completely. I'm not a huge fan of this cuisine and this meal was great. However, the three stars is for the bento box. The teriyaki steak sauce was so thick and tasted of corn starch and steak was fatty. The gyoza dumplings were flaccid. But the deep fried tofu appetizer was GREAT. Just needed salt. I would absolutely return. Awesome lychee martini. My suggestion is to not try and order cheap. The value of this place is ordering the food that costs more to experience the flavors of the east.

Bubble tea, half foamy air, half actual tea.

TLDR: Do not go for pho, it's possible their Japanese food is acceptable. I had qualms going to a place that specialized in Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine and those concerns were unfortunately confirmed. Their bubble tea is half air and foam. The pho broth was as concentrated as water kissed by a cow fart, quite possibly the weakest broth I have ever tasted. The broth is served near room temperature so your noodles will be under cooked and your meat will remain raw. Also they ration the siracha so you can't even try and save it by drowning it with that. They will also serve the pho without utensils... I guess they think it's a finger food. The amount of pho for the price is so little you'll need a second dinner to equal one meal. Over all, one of the worst culinary experiences ever. We definitely will not be going back.

All our sushi served in a boat.

We stumbled upon this place a few years ago and appreciated how quickly we were seated and how fast the food was served to us - especially because we have babies. Now we eat here every time we come to Glenwood. The sushi is delicious - and served in a boat if you'd like! The ramen was the perfect thing after a cold day and everything feels reasonably priced to boot. The seating is ample for big groups or smaller ones. My one request, is fountain soda, but I guess it's not entirely necessary. Will definitely be back next time we're in Glenwood!

Wonderful food and service. Tonkatsu amazing and great bar choices. Service superb. I walked from my hotel, was sat promptly. Oh, the table next to me made me taste their food!

If you're hungry for Phở (Vietnamese noodle soup), Japanese bento box, sushi or ramen, Kedai Phở & Japanese Cuisine is a decent & affordable option for lunch & dinner in the cute historic town of Glenwood Springs, located right off Grand Avenue (hwy 82), steps from the Colorado River & I-70 and 45 minutes from Aspen-Pitkin County airport. The restaurant is inside a retail building on the second floor overlooking the main strip. The dining area is spacious, clean, casual, low noise level; food was decent, good value & a lot more affordable than downtown Aspen. Service was excellent & friendly; food was well prepared/presented; free street parallel parking; nice walkable neighborhood with shops & restaurants. Glenwood Springs is a worthwhile break on your I-70 roadtrip through the Rockies. Recommended & will come back next time.

I ordered Spicy Miso Ramen with Tofu, my husband, Miso Ramen with chicken and my son, Beef Pho, and Avocado Roll. Everything was yummy and the servers were nice. The ramen was just a bit too small for the price, but with avocado roll, it was perfect. We'd definitely come back again.

The pho was delicious! I wasn't sure what to expect for a mountain town but it was very worth it. We got sushi that was also delicious. Pieces were a lot bigger than the sushi place across the way (Mings Cafe). Our server was very attentive. He was very helpful when ordering and was so nice to us all. He was funny and made a great experience eating here. The ambiance was very casual. Not fancy but not fast foody at all. 10/10 recommend!

First off, the most notable thing about this experience was the genuinely most amazing waitress I think I have ever encountered, Grace. Grace was the kindest soul, she took such amazing care of us and went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Me and my family will go out to eat now and say "she was good but not as good as Grace". Second off, The food was AMAZING per usual. I had the Wagyu steak and it was cooked perfectly, I usually hate going out for steak because I find it to never be seasoned as much as I'd like but this took the cake. The blue cheese dip with chips was so delicious, like possibly one of the best things we have ever tasted. We also tried to carrot cake sorbet which I know sounds odd but it was so delicious, you can tell the kitchen staff puts their heart and soul into this food. My husband got the special, which was like a Turkish ricotta stuffed pasta and it was AMAZING. Even my sister who got the wagyu burger, AMAZING. My only critique was the hostess was very rude to my family for no reason when we walked in which almost turned my parents off from trying to the most amazing restaurant. Luckily, the service got amazing after that. Everyone was so kind and helping everyone, just a great atmosphere. They also had the Knicks game playing which was great haha. I can't wait to come back next summer for my favorite meal despite living states away we will always make it back to The Pullman.

I started with the pickled deviled eggs - little vinegar taste with a slightly sweet filling is a perfect combination. 10/10 The Steak Tartare is unlike any tartare I've ever had before. It comes on this homemade tater-tot that's shaped kind of like a piece of bread or a cracker. I wasn't expecting it, but it made the dish. There is some sort of sauce drizzled, which tastes like an egg yolk base. I scraped it with my fork so I could eat all of it! So delicious! Finished with the Pierogies. Handmade, thin wrappers with perfect, delicious filling. It comes in a bowl with an amazing sauce I couldn't get enough of. I literally used a spoon to drink it! If you're in town, get a reservation - they are very busy!!! It's worth it!
