They were great, very knowledgeable about our keg system and got our foam problems fixed!

Well, I needed a winter hobby so we decided to make our own beer. Now since I'm not a bootlegger…read moreand zero knowledge of making alcohol I decided to find a place that could assist me. My adventure began at Sound Home brew they had everything. Basically I was able to purchase everything I ever needed to make beer. Took it all home and had an amazing experience making beer. However my talents were not beer making. My beer was awful yet rewarding cause I made it. My advice is buy a 6 pack at store of quality beer to consume while you learn to craft your own. Now make this place your first stop if you're gonna start the home brewing process, I guarantee you'll create beer and a smile on your face!

Super helpful service - needed some cider yeast and some airlocks. But also did not hover and let me wander through the store too. And also treated me like a knowledgeable consumer, yay, with no gender or age assumptions :-) They had everything I needed (bottles with bails, multiple types of yeast, star-san, a couple of stoppers, airlocks) at a reasonable price. Will totally be back. Wish I'd gotten the name of the guy that had helped me (tall, late 20s, with a beard), he pretty much embodied "excellent customer experience".

Steve and I recently had Kombucha from CommuniTea. We purchased the bottle from their website which…read moredirects you where to go to get their product and places that supply it. I appreciate the accuracy of this because as of late when researching with other businesses' websites on this type of situation the other businesses that a company may direct you to get their product is outdated so kudos for being up to date there. I have to say the Kombucha I got was very refreshing on the hot summer day we were encountering. I liked the tea aspects to this as is the norm with any Kombucha and this particular one I enjoyed experiencing it in the flavor profile. The Kombucha I got does have alcohol in it but not as much compared to some beers and other alcoholic beverages. I'd love to try out other flavors that they may have available with CommuniTea!

I saw the Communi-Tea Kombucha booth at the U-District Market several weeks ago, tried a sample,…read moreloved it, talked to the friendly/informative guy in charge for a moment, but sadly had no cash on me (and I believe they didn't accept credit/debit). Earlier today I got a pleasant surprise when my guy stopped by my work and handed me a 17oz bottle (I believe they also have bigger ones) of their super tasty beverage. He usually avoids Kombucha but loved this one, so... this is a good sign! Extra cool: Their bottles are re-usable! You pay a deposit fee when buying, and when you return with an empty one you get a refund.... or, I'm sure, you could just get another one ;) Info from the bottle: "Made in and for the Puget Sound region." "Green tea fermented by a culture lovingly handed down for generations." "A health-giving, naturally effervescent soft drink for the 21st century." And the EVER so difficult and long ingredient list: Filtered water, organic evaporated cane juice, green tea. It sounds like they do at least the: U-District Saturday Market (in the "off season") Columbia City Farmers Market Ballard Sunday Market Ahhhh. I love my Kombucha!

It's a fabulous place to people watch sports fans going into a Mariners game. The German potato salad french fries were delicious! They had vinegar tang and bacon grease flavor perfectly proportion throughout the french fries. There were even mustard seeds. My husband enjoyed some of the best tacos he'd ever had. I tried the chicken taco meat and it was a flavor bomb. It came with a robust side of fries. The service was inconsistent. He ordered a espresso martini, and they served it in a very small plastic cup. I ordered a bratwurst and the waiter forgot to put in the order. I just got a bowl of fries for dinner. If you request water, they will point you to a self serve water station. I am fine with getting my own water, but the cups were small. I had to go back three times. Our waiter also forgot to give us cutlery and napkins. Eating my French fry dinner was messy without napkins.

We came for a Yelp Elite event and stayed…read morearound afterwards for a couple of hours to enjoy the Winter Brew Release Party of the Ombili West Coast IPA, a joint brewing venture with Métier Brewing and Rueben's Brewery. At the release party, we heard from Rodney Hines, co-owner of Métier Brewing Company about the history of Steelheads Alley and of course, Métier and their vision and products and especially about the two featured brews, Ombili and Black is Beautiful. Rodney is an awesome guy and he has the right ideas about community and influence. Larry from Ruebens Brewery also spoke about the collaboration with Métier and the beers and the positive messages that these products can help bring to people. The release party had a great spread of charcuterie boards, a DJ, and great company. I bought a 4 pack of cans of the Ombili IPA to bring home and also enjoyed a few drafts of several of their beers during the release party. Overall a very enjoyable evening with great company. Way to go Steelheads Alley! We'll be back!

On tap they have the ciders, some non alcoholic options like a cream soda as well as cbd drinks! They also have a fridge with more non alcoholic or cbd beverages which was awesome as I was a fan of the variety. Limited food options like bags of chips for sale and free popcorn. Outside food and drink is allowed which was nice. I saw many large groups bring in their own food. Atmosphere is friendly and accepting. Enjoyed the coloring supplies available and friendly strangers we chatted with. I ordered the cbd cranberry blood orange 8oz which was super light in flavor profile but a relaxing and tasty drink. My friend ordered the C.R.E.A.M soda and she said it was good. If I returned definitely I would try some of the ciders like Cinna-Bear as that looked popular. Free parking in front of the building is limited but beside the building and behind the building are more spots available. We enjoyed our experience here and my friend felt accepted and safe wearing her fursuit and also received many compliments. Fun and safe place to go on a Saturday night! Would recommend.

If memory serves I believe there was a brewery that was here previously as the layout of the taproom looked very familiar. They have their own ciders on tap as well as guest beer taps but I really wanted to try the cider. It was the primary reason for going here. What I got was their Lrg Up! Ginger Cider. It was really refreshing and good! It was nice and light bodied and had the presence of apple and of course ginger which I always enjoy. Service was friendly and fast and it was nice having the complimentary popcorn while I was enjoying the cider!
