I got one of biggest ones they had which was Kuromi cake style for $50 that came with about a dozen balls inside. You can purchase additional balls for about 8$ a dozen. I'm hoping clarification on the expiration dates will be labeled in the future, but it is my bad for not asking as well. As for the Pokemon cards, they should be labeled more clearly on the packages and on the window sign as well to avoid confusion and misunderstandings like this. To the owner: thank you for the clarification and apologies for my harshness and misunderstanding. To others interested in going here: there is great selection of candy and treats here along with novelty items. This is certainly a place catered towards kids, so do be sure to ask about which novelty items are authentic or are replicas before you buy them. I do think that explanation of dates should be labeled for certain products and that replicas should be labeled more clearly. Other than that, there is interesting candy.

I first tried the "fancy" lokum at Lokum in Santa Barbara and have been obsessed with it since, but haven't been able to find any in L.A. So when I saw the case, I had to get some! The gentleman behind the counter was so nice and helpful and described all the different flavors of lokum, and they all sounded yummy, so I got a bit of most of them. I asked if they were made in house and he said there was a place that made them for the shop. He also showed me all the fresh roasted peanuts on the counter and offered me some samples. The lightly salted ones were so good, so I also purchased a small bag of them. They also have a variety of other nuts that I'd like to try in the future, as well as Dubai chocolate - which seems to be popping up at every Mediterranean place I've gone to lately - even restaurants. Once I got home, I tried all the flavors of lokum I purchased and they were all delightful! I'm so glad I stopped by and discovered the goodies at this shop!

All numbers are available, large ball stars are $30 ($33 if you want to customize the character and colors; allow 1 week for custom orders), and large other shapes including my chosen Wednesday piñata are $40. Other cute options in stock were a cactus, unicorn, dia de los muertes girl, etc. They receive new piñata shipments from Mexico every Friday, and the contents of each shipment are not known in advance, so you'll likely have the most selection on Friday/Saturday. The stick/rope/bandana bundle is $8, and they charge an additional 4% service charge. Service was knowledgeable and helpful.
