Taking care of 3 dogs is a big ask and Lali rose to the occassion and exceeded expectations. She sent us pictures and updates every time she stopped by while we were away. Not only did she take exceptional care of our doggos, letting them run around and play in the dog park by our place, but she gave us peace of mind knowing they were being taken well care of. Rates were cheaper than using Rover or any of those other apps and she did a meet and greet with the pups beforehand so they were able to establish trust and get to know their caretaker ahead of our trip. They have a carefully, time-tested program and have hired and trained their staff to work within it to ensure a consistent message to the dogs. They then train YOU in sessions held after each week so you do the SAME process. They assign a trainer that focuses on your dog. The trainer can them work with you and explain your dog's idiosyncrasies to you! Our dogs took to the training. They don't become perfect dogs because WE humans are really bad at follow-through and consistency but they are so much better having been through the training. Our English Springer Spaniel became a gem on a leash and walking her became a breeze!! No mean feat when a squirrel crossing our path would cause her to bolt and drag me to the ground. We took her to a refresher stay after a few years. They told us when we picked her up that she was a gem and that WE needed to be more consistent. Yes, I am still working on that with the second dog who is better trained than I am at this point.

This is the first time she not…read moreonly missed our appointment, didn't call to say she wasn't coming, no call to re-schedule and ignored my multiple texts. Her answering machine said they were out of the office from the 23th of last month, but I don't recall the date she said she'd be back. I know she takes pottery classes on Wednesday evening. I referred her to the classes so out of curiosity I showed up at class last Wednesday to find her there. She never said a word to me. Not even acknowledged I was there. When she showed up at my house to deliver newspapers, I told her she could have the five jars of glazes ($15.00 ea) that were still at the studio, since I stopped going to class. I also gave her my block of clay worth approximately $25. I had collected four more jars of glaze that I was going to give her at our appointment on the 13th. While I was at class, I asked the instructor for my box of glazes. I decided not to give it to her after all, but I did leave her with the barely used block of clay. I felt she didn't deserve my generosity after being treated the way I was. I have no idea why she ghosted me re my appointment, but she certainly didn't act professionally and I will never use her services in the future nor give a positive review. I have since found another mobile dog groomer who charges the same amount. Heather, I hope you enjoy the clay I gave you. Today I received a callback from Petco in Petaluma. They quoted their dog nail trims at: Monday thru Friday $6.00 (1/2 of regular price and $12 any other time. So if you don't mind driving a few miles, they can save you a lot of money.
