Heather has been trimming my three dogs and two parrots for years. This is the first time she not only missed our appointment, didn't call to say she wasn't coming, no call to re-schedule and ignored my multiple texts. Her answering machine said they were out of the office from the 23th of last month, but I don't recall the date she said she'd be back. I know she takes pottery classes on Wednesday evening. I referred her to the classes so out of curiosity I showed up at class last Wednesday to find her there. She never said a word to me. Not even acknowledged I was there. When she showed up at my house to deliver newspapers, I told her she could have the five jars of glazes ($15.00 ea) that were still at the studio, since I stopped going to class. I also gave her my block of clay worth approximately $25. I had collected four more jars of glaze that I was going to give her at our appointment on the 13th. While I was at class, I asked the instructor for my box of glazes. I decided not to give it to her after all, but I did leave her with the barely used block of clay. I felt she didn't deserve my generosity after being treated the way I was. I have no idea why she ghosted me re my appointment, but she certainly didn't act professionally and I will never use her services in the future nor give a positive review. I have since found another mobile dog groomer who charges the same amount. Heather, I hope you enjoy the clay I gave you. Today I received a callback from Petco in Petaluma. They quoted their dog nail trims at: Monday thru Friday $6.00 (1/2 of regular price and $12 any other time. So if you don't mind driving a few miles, they can save you a lot of money. read more

AMAZING TEAM! Heather and her assistant (I think his name was Jake) came yesterday to trim my cat's nails. I was a little worried because Simon HATES to have them done. Plus, he's sort of a 'touch-me-not", in general. Her assistant held him while Heather did her magic. The whole thing was done in less than 5 minutes! Simon never let out a peep. They were professional and efficient. They even took time to get to know my dog and I ended up asking them to express her anal glands because she's been scooting on the floor. Good thing I did! Heather was freaking awesome. Id never had this issue didn't even know it was possible! I guess in old places we lived my cat always had more concrete & wooden things around to help keep her nails filed down & i'd barely even had to trim them before. In my current place there is soft ground & lots of animals she's a little shy or intimidated by so she's opted to be more of a house cat even though she still has access to outdoors. Long story short, i discovered she had an ingrown claw. I examined it & it was a bit sore & she was screaming bloody murder lol, i was SO extremely anxious & afraid maybe the quick had overgrown too or about hurting her or any bleeding. I couldn't quite bring myself to do it myself despite gathering all supplies & being prepared to. SO glad I made a last ditch effort to get help & found Heather on here this morning. She was amazing & saved the day. Super confident, FAST, she happened to be able to fit me in this very same day, before my cat or me could even think too much about it she'd already clipped the nail & extracted the tip from the paw pad. She showed me what was going on with her nails too so I could see and understand where the quick is and it didn't get cut, there was just darkness from dirt or old cells building up. So she needs me to provide better scratching stuff & some cat nip & it should help prevent this from happening again along w/more regular trims. I can't even describe the immense relief i felt just knowing help was on the way and after it was over and done with. Saved me big bucks and a lot more fussing from my cat not having to take her to a vet, they wouldn't even give me the info i needed or a quote over the phone, only one I got they said it was over $100 for just an intake initial visit & who knows how much more it would've been. I tipped her $10 and wish I could've given more bc im so grateful & i think she's undercharging! Highly recommend! She was a God send, truly. My cat and me are much relieved. read more

I have a 13 year old pitbull King who absolutely hates getting his nails trimmed. I've tried everything even medication from the vet but it's just impossible. I pretty much gave up, and his nails were so long they were curling under. Then I found Heather who came to my house yesterday and got the job done.
