I love the historic feel of this place. There's seating!! If you get there early enough there's theater style seating in addition to the standing room space. I loved having the option to sit or stand. There are two bars - one upstairs and one downstairs. I never had to wait long for drinks and the service was great. They have some snacks as well. Parking is available in the paid lot next to the venue or along the street, but it can definitely be limited so be prepared for that.

Trust me, I was rather too happy after drink two, so someone must be doing something right;+) If you are a smoker, there is an exit door right behind the bar and you are free to go outside and come back in. Bouncers at the door but they hand stamp you pretty good upon entering (took me two days to get it washed off completely...lol) so you're good to go . Bathrooms were clean (sorry zero photos when you gotta do business)... Initially was in "reserved seating" but we weren't really "reserved" (more G.A.) and besides I was dying to get closer to Cy. I saw Local Natives there back in the day and it remains one of the coolest music experiences I've had! A few FYI(s): the crowd trends young. Music is for everyone and I personally don't care if I'm the oldest person at a show, but it does feel like showing up to a party you haven't been invited to. The bathroom is terrifying and feels like someone will jump out of the locked closet with a chainsaw, but adds to the garage-esque aesthetic. I'd still take this bathroom over the urban lounge lol. In general I love that SLC has venues like this holding strong, and a safe place for kids to hang out and see live music.

(They do make you shake out your blankets at security so don't try to hide anything in it!) We arrived pretty close to showtime, so we ended up sitting pretty far back. If you want a better spot on the lawn, definitely get there early. This was also our first time getting food here. There are quite a few options, and we decided to try the Mosh Burger. Unfortunately, it was pretty mid. It was $45 for two burgers and two fries, and the burgers had basically no flavor or toppings. Definitely not worth the price in my opinion, and I'd skip it next time. I was quickly told none were close, so I just bought a parking pass and we stayed downtown at the Hampton Inn. The only thing that really bothered me were the people asking to see out tickets...this happened more than once.
