We live in an apartment complex with a two-car garage. Yesterday, the door actuator refused to lift the door more than 6 inches. When I lowered the door from that position, it went down, but immediately popped back up to the six inch open position. The apartment complex sent a maintenance person who could not solve the problem, and he called his supervisor for assistance. The supervisor and a third apartment maintenance person responded, and the three of them could not resolve the problem. They notified me that they were bringing in their vendor, Garage Door Repair, and that it may be a day or so before the door would be fixed. Fortunately, Garage Door Repair had a rep, Kevin T., on our complex for another problem, and he agreed to check out our problem. He arrived at our door, quickly diagnosed the problem, and within an hour or so, he replaced a broken spring and a circuit board, and our garage door opener worked once again. November 15, my garage door broke in the open position. My husband was out of town and I had no one I could call to help me at least close it. Pace Talley with Garage Door Repair Co. came out to inspect my garage door assembly. The door was struggling to open and close and I wanted to have it tuned up. Upon inspection, Pace showed my how the spring had broken on my door, explained my options, and he installed a new spring assembly at a very affordable price. He then remounted my garage door opener, adjusted the tension, and replaced the rollers on the door. He knew quickly what needed to be done and not only got everything fixed and working again, but provided final touches that gave me such a great customer service experience! Definitely would recommend Garage Door Repair Company. When our garage door tension spring broke we needed a company to come to fix it to be able to get our cars out of the garage. They were able to have a technician come within 1 1/2 hr. Kolton called prior to coming and was very professional. He came and explained what he was going to do and the cost. Scheduled appointment time was 11-12 and the technician (Kevin T.) arrived well before the scheduled time. After a brief amount of troubleshooting, Kevin determined the opener needed replacing. We have a large garage with three full-sized doors in Oakwell Farms. We had Kevin (on time - friendly) come out to give us a Spring tune up and handle adjustments. Used this company years ago to replace springs on a garage door at another house. So when a spring broke on one of the doors at my current residence last Saturday, I gave them a call and left a message. Kolten came out to measure for the new garage door. WOW he was right on time. Then we waited while the door was ordered. Kolten and Kevin came out to install the door. When the scheduled the time I told them that I had an appointment at 12:30. They said they would be thru by 12:00. Nearly to the minute (12:03) it was completed.
