We bought our tires from mavis and have had our tires rotated as needed. Tire rotations are free as long as tires are purchased at mavis. The last time we needed our tires rotated we did not need an oil change. Usually information is loaded into the computer for an oil change. Since I only needed an tire rotation, the technician said let's do this the easy way. He took my keys without entering any information into the computer. Lesson learned. Make sure there is a record of all work done on your car. We were driving on the highway and our entire wheel came off. The lug nuts were not tightened at the time of the tire rotation at mavis. Unfortunately there is no record that I was at the store because nothing was ever entered into the computer. At least we were all safe although we are all traumatized. read more

I recently went here to have all my tires replaced on my car and oil changed. The service was good and didn't have any issues. The service time was normal, it didn't take longer or shorter than it should have. For once, I didn't feel like the mechanic doing the work was trying to get some unnecessary work done so they could make money from me. The cost was what I expected to pay. Hard to write this new review but felt it was needed. Been coming here for years with 5 star ratings. Recently it looks like a total change of management and staff. Went in for an oil change and tire rotation and was told that front and back brakes were 90% gone. I told them I had my car there 5k miles ago and was never informed brakes needed to he addressed. Plus Mavis already replaced them in Jan 2019. I was told that there was no record of brakes being replaced. I went to pick up my car and showed them the receipt from Jan 2019 and was told that they found the information after we hung up. Strange that I didnt receive a call back or informed when I paid for oil change that they knew I had brakes already done there. Wasnt until I waved my previous receipt. Was told techs work on piece meal commission so sometimes things are not checked. I am stuck with warranty for tires and brakes but will have other services performed elsewhere read more

Communication, business transaction quality of procedure, and value were all that I could hope for. A small wire puncture caused a slow leak in a tire with plenty of tread. Proper repair requires removing tire from rim, inspecting inside liner and removing object. A patch/plug seals the air tight liner and the plug prevents moisture from entering the tire and rusting the steel belt. They had my car on the lift within 5 minutes and completed in 45 just as promised. $28.22 covered parts labor tax and included balancing. Did not waste my time trying to up sell me to replacing tire nor did they suggest plugging without pulling tire for 10 bucks like most service stations. If this no nonsense professionalism represents all their transactions I will be back. read more

Not so much , ordered COOPER tires great price ,they said in stock they will hold them for me . I set appointment then I received bait and switch , Left work early to get tires and alignment, when I got there I was told we don't have the tires but I can sell you other ones that are better . If you are into bait and switch, this is the place for you! Second time now, I've called and got an estimate only to have the actual price paid 3x more! They treated me like a child, but I have a couple of engineering degrees. I think I know how the sway bar linkage interacts with the strut. Anyway, they screwed me for the last time. They should learn to be honest with customers. But it seems the estimating staff lowers the price to get you in and then once you're there they zap you. Got a quote for replacing 4 tires. Their tire price was about what others were listed at online, but then they wanted $18 per tire "Installation Center Overhead and Stocking Fee". Sorry, that's built into the price of your tire. Went down the street (half mile) and found the same tire $40 less per tire and no ridiculous add-on fee. Didn't bother going back for a price match as I would rather give the business to the store which has reasonable policies to begin with. read more

I purchased tires for my Mercedes-Benz ML 500 at STS in Cherry Hill. I decided to go with them because I can get the road hazard and free tire rotation during the life of the tires. In the long run this was the best deal I can find. STS is a good company and their employees are pleasant and helpful. I would not hesitate purchasing tires from STS again. read more

Depending on the service, I am usually in and out the door in no time. I had an oil change done last Saturday, I was out within 25 minutes. Prior to my last visit I was there twice before. Both times to get a nail removed from a tire. They were able to repair the tire on one occasion. I wasn't so lucky the next time; I had to purchase a new tire. The Nissan Dealership wanted to charge me an arm and a leg. STS had the tire in stock and was much cheaper. read more

Took my Buick here for half shaft replacement. While the car was there I was called and told the tie rod ends needed replacing. Well about 2500 miles later I went to take off the front wheels to check the brake lining. The person who put the wheels on must have torqued the lug nuts down to about 200 foot pounds. Had to use a breaker bar with a pipe extension to get them loose. One stud snapped off. Once the wheels were off I found out that the tie rod ends were never greased....totally bone dry. Fortunately only 2500 miles so was able to grease them myself. Will not be going back here again. read more

My last visit to STS was for an oil change. I did not wait long, even though they were busy. Everyone was professional and courteous. This was not my first visit to this store and every one of my previous visits was enjoyable. No matter what work I needed done on my vehicle, they did it and did it well. It's true what other people say about the managers here. Very helpful and kind. Been there many times before and mostly pleased with their satisfactory work. They are usually fast enough and that is always good. However, lately, I'm not quite sure they know what they are doing and they are very good at telling you what they think you need without actually knowing if their fix will solve the problem. I came into the store with a battery issue and they told me, after running a $60 battery test, that I needed a new battery. $120 later battery replaced. Next day - battery dies again. I go back in and they tell me its the alternator that needs to be replaced too. $700 later. Alternator replaced along with the $120 battery and the $60 battery test. Next day...battery dead again. They say they figured out what was causing the problem but then began to tell me that it would cost more to research the specific issue and find out specifically what was causing the draw of power to my battery. Long story short...they hand me back my car with the battery charged and the alternator working but now the radio doesn't turn on, my gps doesn't work, my back up camera is nada, the doors don't lock and the lights on the center console don't light up. I'm guessing some sort of FRAUD has taken place and I worn you not to bring you car there unless you have an extraordinary amount of time and money because they want both of it. Steer clear of Mavis Discount Tires. They'll talk you into poverty. read more
