Nothing can improve here, they are a bunch of rip offs. They try to make you believe that you need something done when you don't need it done @ all. We were told that our vehicle needed struts, we took it to the dealer and we were told there's nothing wrong with your struts who told you that, and we told him who told us and they said lesson learned. You should avoid Mavis tire in Leland like the plague. I would give no stars if I could. read more

Tremendous service!! I brought the truck in with a flat tire in the bed, and they did it all, got the job done and at a great price! They noticed that the tire on the other side was wearing enough that it didn't make sense to just replace the one and not the other so we went for both, I'll take care of the other two in another year. They cleaned up the job by putting my spare back under the truck and cleaning up my back seat where the tire changing tools are... Great job guys !! read more

Outstanding service! I came to Mavis for a tire balance and rotation after another shop didn't seem to do their due diligence. My appointment was at 10:00 am and I was out before 11. The technician handled everything professionally, and my car now drives perfectly. I have been here twice and both times received expert, honest, and friendly service. I came in on a Saturday morning to get a tire patched. The guy behind the desk was nice and said it would be about an hour and a half wait because he was booked up and only had two people working. I asked about an appointment first thing the next morning. I was told that they had 4 appointments set for 9am but I could get one at 10. I assumed that by being there early in the day, there was less of a chance of a long wait. I was wrong. I made an appointment for 10 and was there 10 minutes early. When I arrived the lot was full and I saw a tech hopping in a customers car. I waited for the spot and pulled in. As I got out of my car, another tech started talking to me, saying that he was trying to put a car in that parking spot for a customer, and that he had parked in the handicap spot instead, which they weren't supposed to do. He didn't ask me to move or anything, just wanted to let me know I had taken a spot for a customers car, as if I wasn't also a customer. I checked my car in and waited. I finally gave up and left at 1130 without my car being looked at or being talked to by anyone. During that hour and a half wait, I listened to the guys behind the desk talk about their weekly bonuses, presumably for keeping the place booked up. They also tried to call in some people to work OT, and also talked to a customer about how they needed to hire about 3 more people. I left disappointed in the lack of communication. In addition, the place was absolutely filthy. There was urine and feces on the seat and lid of the toilet in the bathroom, and the floors in the waiting room hadn't been cleaned in who knows how long. read more

Horrible! you make an appointment for 2 new tires. They tell you they'll have it done in an hour. You show up at 11:00, and they are all standing around. The guy who is doing the tires, is talking about his court date and daring law enforcement to arrest him. Meanwhile, it's an hour later, and they haven't even brought my car in what's the point of making an appointment to drive in and wait when it takes more than an hour to mount and replace two tires when you have a scheduled appointment these people are pathetic. They're all standing around with their thumbs up their butts and looks like there's a lot of office people and no workers. I've had decent luck at Mavis before, but I would not recommend these guys for anything here in Leland, North Carolina. They are absolutely pathetic! read more

I made an appointment for 5 PM. After waiting 15 minutes I was told service guy was on light duty and could not lift my tires. I would have to wait for the next available service guy. Please don't take appointments if you can't do the service. A simple phone call before My appointment to reschedule would have resolved the issue. This was my first time and last time at Mavis. It was a simple tire repair for a leak. read more

Just like the other reviews, I had an oil change for 10 am. When I booked it ON THE PHONE WITH THEM, they said I was the only appointment booked and they were sorry for the LAST TIME taking so long since I already paid for an alignment WITH my brand new tires I purchased from them. They took 3 hours just to put the tires on that they claimed we would get right in for. We had to pick my daughter up from school so we had to reschedule just the alignment (but it was already paid for.) so that's when I went in today for the "10 am appointment" they told me they scheduled 5 10:00 appointments so it would take way longer.... ok but I just dropped my son off at daycare for this and swapped cars with my boyfriend because you said we would get right in????? Done with this place. Oak island location said they will get me right in on Friday & honor that I already paid. They said they have heard Leland location is having tons of issues and can't believe the BS I was put through. read more
