I'm giving this place a 4 because they lack consistency. Depending on the employee attending to you, you get different results each time. I always tell them what I want when I go in but sometimes they try to convince me to go with another. I am paying them to do what I want/need not paying them to do what's convenient for them. I had a horrible experience here. I just came to get my acrylic nails removed, and I left with my nails severely damaged. Instead of soaking off the nail - which they are supposed to do - the woman who completed my service used another acrylic nail, jamming it under the base of my acrylic, and one by one popping them off. This process was extremely painful and left my nail torn up. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As the service began, the lady who did my nails asked me to go on my phone. I asked her, "oh did it go off?" And she said, " no, you're looking at me, making me nervous." Just not great, if you need something done they'll typically be able to fit you in, which is great. However the quality and care of their acrylic nails ,at least, is crap. They don't do any prep work, you would literally have to pay for a manicure + full set to receive just the basic/proper prep for your nails. I tried to give them a second chance and during my fill they didn't even get rid of the acrylic that was lifting off my mail beds. Till I said something. VERY limited in design techniques and very basic/ childish gems. The pedicure however is great for the deluxe one anyway. That's the only service I recommend. I love this place! Sam and Tina both do really good acrylic nails and pedicures. I've never had bad service here. The only reason they they don't get 5 Stars is because they frequently are running late and I sit and wait 15-20 mins even when I schedule my appointments in advance. Lots of color choices. Tina did an amazing job on my nails, she did exactly what I wanted and kept asking me if I liked them and if she was doing okay. All the ladies in this shop are kind and funny, would definitely recommend! My boyfriend also got a pedicure and it's insane! Close to home and nice and friendly atmosphere. First time in, I love that each person has their own nail file and buffer that they can bring back along for each mani/pedi. THIS PLACE HAS AN AWESOME BARBER FOR MENS HAIR TOO! Yes, it's a nail salon, but this place also has a barber named "Tony" that does the best "Mens" haircuts in the Portland metro area and only charges around $8 bucks. He's very thorough and can probably do any mens cut you want but there may be a bit of a language barrier (he understands more than he speaks) so bring a picture if you can or just pick one off his Brad Pitt haircuts on his wall like I do. ;) read more

It was a good to great experience. I had a relatively long wait, but expected that as it's Saturday before the 4th of July, in a strip mall. Very pleasant gal urged me to make an appointment next time so I didn't have to wait so long. Spoke with enough "regulars" while there to understand this is a special place. It was ok I guess... I saw the google reviews at 4+ stars and thought I'd try it out even though yelp was at 3 stars. I'll start with the good. The ladies were all fairly friendly the technician was very detailed in the cleaning and grooming of my nails (not as much with the polishing), and I was in and out in a decent amount of time - not too long, not too fast. I have natural nails and got a mani pedi. The cons out-way the pros, I won't be back. There are homeless-looking/methhead-looking people that kept coming and gathering right outside to smoke throughout my time there. No shirts just funk! They were also right there at the door as I was leaving, I didn't feel safe. As far as my nail experience goes, the place is really REALLY TIRED, and it just doesn't feel clean in general on top of that. Not a good selection of colors, and polish brands were not recognizable. (They don't carry the new easy to remove soak-off gel polish, it's the old kind that you have to work hard to get off, and mostly 3rd rate regular polish brands). I went with regular polish after asking about their gel product. The technician poured some solution in the polish before she painted my nails. I asked what it was and she said it was thinner; that the polish is too thick and sticky. Well... it went on ok, but I know what this means from experience, they are keeping the polish too long and thinning it out make it lesser quality- it just needs to be thrown out. My foot massage was ok, but there was little to no effort put into callous removal, I do a better job at home myself and that's without much effort. I was never given a menu of services or offered the different types of pedicures available. That would have been nice as I was feeling like treating myself. My nails look good and the ladies were pretty nice, which is why I'm giving 3 stars. It was a little less than ok, I won't be returning. Just not up to my standards. read more

Super clean (I was required to buy a new file and nail scrubber for $1 and they put a clean bag in the foot trough which speaks to the cleanliness of this place. I was so excited to try this place out rather than my normal nail salon after reading all the reviews but for $25 I would have expected a better job. My big toe seems to be cut uneven and they didn't bother to clean around the skin. The original lady who was giving me my pedicure seemed to have ran off after she told me to wait for my nails to dry. When I was getting ready to leave, a different lady took off the nail polish on my 2 toes twice in hopes of fixing them. I came here as a new customer wanting a new full set of acrylics with gel Polish. She didn't ask what I wanted just started working, not very friendly. They looked ok when she was done, but she didn't apply the acrylic all the way down to my cuticle so within 5 days it already looked like I needed a fill. Also in spite of the fact that I do not wash dishes and I have a desk job my nails started lifting within 7 days.
