The crust is ok but the sauce isn't good it's like cheap tomato sauce, if they invest into higher quality sauce it would make a drastic difference . coming from Chicago this is disappointing. We ordered for delivery and had the meat lover's, chicken mango habanero pizza, and 15 piece buffalo wings. The chicken mango habanero pizza was DELICIOUS! The flavors go really well together and it wasn't that spicy. The meat lover's was really good --nothing too crazy but still tasty. The buffalo wings were just buffalo wings. I was SHOCKED by how good this place was. I've been in the pizza business for 19 years. My expectations weren't very high when I ordered at almost midnight. I was skeptical about an Indian/pizza fusion menu, but it had good reviews and I had limited options. I was blown away. The dough was delicious and fresh. Light, bready, and buttery without being too greasy or heavy. Beautiful crust with consistent thickness from the edge of the pizza to the center. Very little "flop". A nice golden brown bake all the way through and the perfect amount of sauce and cheese. The sauce was flavorful without being overpowering. And there were amble toppings with even placement to make each bite consistent. A GREAT product. The veggie samosas were delicious too, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. As a small business owner I know it's hard to compete with bigger chains. My honest opinion of this place is their food was good, better than any chain places out there. Max Pizza has surprised us with consistent high quality throughout. (We haven't tried the salads, soups, subs, or burgers; however, based on our experiences so far, I would expect them also to be outstanding.) Our fourth taste adventure at Max Pizza was the chicken mango habañero pizza (following chicken malai boti, butter chicken, and chicken tikka pizzas). All four have been wonderful either hot or cold - no reheating needed to enjoy the delicious blend of tastes. All very different, all delectable. The description didn't mention it, but this pizza had slices of hot pepper - just the right degree of hotness - and bits of real mango under the plentiful cheese. Fun, unique and reasonably priced. We've eaten here twice, the first time we got a xl Malai Boti pizza, and the second time the large Tikka Masala one with fried zookz, both were really well made, BIG, and tasty. Had a great puzza that was 28 inches and they can make it thinner for me as they make all from scratch. We were pleasantly surprised at wonderful service and pizza that will last us a week.
