He didn't break down any walls or ceilings, just drilled holes at the affected areas to run tubing for his drying equipment. He and his assistant always came on time, sometimes a bit earlier, to check progress and work. When his initial attempt to dry the floor didn't work as well as we hoped, he informed me that the bathroom floor needed to be removed so his equipment can do its magic - a statement backed up by the field adjuster for my home insurance who checked the damage, so I knew he was being honest. The water mitigation and repairs took weeks due to logistics, and I had to pay him late because my insurance stopped responding and I needed to secure funds first. But through it all, Dio and his assistant were patient and understanding. When they fixed up the holes they made in the garage and realized the paint didn't match, they came back the next day with the right color, no problem. Was reasonable in approach when I called, didn't have to break down a bunch of walls; identified where there was water in the walls, and offered availability the next day to address my issue; He stuck a bunch of tubes through small screwdriver sized holes in my drywall and let it run for 5 days. Similar to other reviews, he came out and checked midway and added additional devices to ensure the water would be gone. Communicated well on phone and text messages. Dio was a hero during our time of need. We had a shower leak which damaged the sheetrock and floors in the adjacent bedroom. The damage was pretty extensive given the amount of water that had gone through the walls. After meeting a few competitors, it was clear that Max Restoration was a cut above the rest. Dio was the most communicative, extremely prompt, and had a very reasonable quote. From day one, he was extremely clean (eg. laying down naps to protect the floors to the site, wrapping the walls with plastic to protect appliances, etc). Throughout the work, any demo cuts were straight and minimal where possible. At the end of the day, he would clean everything up, leaving no trace of any debris. We recently did repairs and renovations on our first house, and then found out that our contractor hadn't put flashing on the plumbing vent pipes going through our roof. So when it rained, we had a bunch of water get into the walls and resulted in a mold issue. I had a water minor water damage caused me a lot of headache. Roof leak is a journey if you have had one. I finally found the leak and patched it. Here comes restoration. Dio came in, looked and gave me 2 estimates : water mitigation without and with mold - with dry wall repair. I also got a few more contractors to come by. Some didn't even come by and gave me a quote (How's that possible???). Some says I needed to remove the entire patch of ceiling as if they was willing to tear down as much as possible without repairing it. His quote was very reasonable and he was very clear that this could go up depends on what we found. Thankfully, there was no mold. He got the work started right away. Came to start working on Saturday and finished the work in very fast. His one-stop shop, reasonable quote and willingness to work with me are pushing him to the top. I am hoping the leak won't come back but will give Dio a call if i need any water mitigation work! I cannot recommend Dio and Max Restoration highly enough. We had water damage to our upstairs bathroom and downstairs master closet right before Thanksgiving as a result of an overflowed bathtub. My husband contacted Dio Wednesday evening and he was out at our home Thursday morning to assess the damage and provide us an estimate to dry up all the moisture before mold could start growing. He started work on Friday morning and all areas were dry by Monday. Max Restoration also helped us with the repairs necessary to the closet and bathroom. This company is efficient, caring, and attentive. I am beyond pleased with the help and work that was done. Care was taken with our carpets and the rest of our home while the repairs and remediation were happening (plastic laid down to protect floors, etc.). Communication was very clear. Overall, Dio made what seemed like it would be a nightmare to deal with into a seamless project that was over within two weeks (the timeframe have been less but our personal schedule put a delay between the remediation and the repairs). Astoundingly timely, very thorough, highly proficient, fantastic communication, and outstanding professionalism! There was an accident by contractors working on my home renovation, and an open bathroom valve leaked water through the floor. After approx 45 hours later, the contractors had still done nothing, so we reached out to several water restoration specialists on our own. Max Restoration was on-site within the hour! Over the next couple hours/days, we were inspected and quoted by several other water restorers as well. In comparison to his competitors, Dio was amongst the most thorough, proficient, and straightforward. He tested with multiple apparatuses from multiple locations and asked poignant questions to fully understand the scope of the damage. Some other inspectors made me feel they were doing a hand-wavy visit & quote, but Dio made me feel like he was seriously considering what it'd take to fully restore all damage, even if he didn't get our business. After he left, I got Dio's formal quote arrived by email within a couple hours (amazing), before anyone else's. This incident was a hairy 3-party issue (contractors, me, water restoration). One of the restoration companies even backed out to avoid the situation, but Dio remained communicative and professional. The contractors even delayed to take action, and the water damage worsened (as moisture keeps spreading), so we had to call someone back for a re-inspection. Dio was available and was at our door in *15 minutes*! In the end, our contractors serviced the restoration and rented the machines themselves. They paid Dio for the inspection, re-inspection, consultation, monitoring, and final inspection. I can't give Dio enough praise for his services, and I can't recommend him enough.
