Jose G. was my knight in shining armor. He was my hero. Tuesday afternoon the washing machine in my rental decided it was time to make my life difficult. During its malfunction the drum filled with water and blew open creating a river in the house. Flash forward about 4 hours later and Jose G. arrived with his white cape. Jose came with Walter and they immediately got to work. Measuring the moisture levels in the ceiling and floor. Setting up fans that sounded like jet engines. Jose communicated with me during the entire process explaining what he was doing. I had to move to a hotel with my dog and 2 kids for a few days. During my absence from the house, Jose communicated with me and answered ALL my questions in detail. He was professional and incredibly patient. Over the course of four days I had the pleasure of interacting with Jose G., Walter and Jose R. All of them were perfect gentlemen, extremely professional, efficient and competent. They treated the house and my belongings with care. These guys know what they are doing. It was obvious from the minute they stepped into the house. My back‑door neighbor had a fire, and this company came in and offered to remove, repair, and replace all the so‑called water damage in our walls and floors. Our landlord agreed, since they have plenty of good reviews. They ripped out our floors, made us stay out of our own home for a full week, and forced us to move everything from the kitchen into the living room. To this day, they have stopped answering my calls. They never repaired our floors and never properly dealt with the alleged "water damage" in the bathroom or kitchen. I first met Business Development Manager George Heredia while I was standing across the street from the smoldering ruins of my home of 66 years. I'd just been told that my pets - my only family - had burned to death. George approached me and gave me his card, and I whirled on him, accused him of being a shark and an ambulance chaser, and sent him packing. Later - after I'd fended off a dozen REAL ambulance-chasers (young men who didn't give a crap about me or my animals and were just looking for the commission) - I realized that there was something different about George: He genuinely cared. Empathy is difficult to fake, and all that, "I'm so sorry for your loss" garbage from people who've been taught the right words to say but don't really care had worn thin, and after I thought about it a bit, and concluded that George was the real deal, I called him back. After apologizing for being a total bitch to him earlier, we talked about what needed to be done right-now-today. Fire crews had had to kick down the fences to save my neighbors' homes. George had a crew out that same day to install security fencing, and worked with my neighbors to protect their property as well. As a final touch that day, he referred me to the best private adjuster in the business. He checks in on me from time to time. Who does that, right? George really is the best! I have been asked by Charles to remove this review as "it is untrue". I was told that I had to pay out of pocket expenses. I asked their man Edel who came to collect if I could hold back 10% retention for just in case. I was told they would pull off the job if I did not pay the full amount. It felt like extortion. Now Charles will not communicate with me. We have no final inspection and issues that have not been addressed unless I remove the "untrue" review which I just corrected. 8/2 update: still waiting for Dry1out to call me to set up schedule to finish and get final inspection. I can call for an inspection but city suggested I hire my own contractor to make sure the work is completely finished so I can pass final. read more

We were assigned Dry1out by our insurance when we had water damage due to roof leak. Point of contact was clear during mitigation and repair work. Dry1out was very responsive to come out and dry the room as well as mitigate the roof damage until repairs were done. The repair work was thoroughly estimated and executed well including multiple subs. I recommend them. The only reason I am taking out 1 star is for the time between mitigation and completion of actual repair, we were without ceiling in 1 room in a cold house in January weather. read more

Please be careful and avoid this company if you possibly can. They did good work, so it's a shame. Dry1Out company was selected by my insurance company and was to be paid directly by them. I thought all was well... until Dry1Out threatened and prepared a Lien on OUR home when insurance didn't pay them quickly. I had to pay them directly to avoid this. And Shanna and Flor COMMITED to me they would refund me when they were paid as agreed by State Farm. After we escalated with insurance , State Farm paid them as expected. So they have been paid twice. I was told they did not receive payment from insurance but State Farm insurance showed proof they were paid (and cashed the check from state farm). So did they refund the extra payment to me as they agreed? No, now they will not return our money or calls and letters, Dry1Out will not answer communications by State Farm either, nor return phone calls. This is a dangerous company to do business with and we do not recommend under any circumstances. Now we are out thousands of dollars while they have been paid twice for the work. We are taking legal action to try to get refund they promised as well as reporting Dry1Out. Please be careful and protect yourself from this company. read more

Dry1out showed up after my house fire so we went with them for ease. The office crew was extremely difficult to get ahold of to fix our bill. We had 3 different insurance claims and they charged all 3 for setting up equipment. After weeks of calling and emailing they took the 3k off. Once we unpacked what they "cleaned" I found food stuck to dishes, rust on my knives because they were put away wet, broken dishes and dishes stuck inside of each other. I had to hand wash everything they charged me for cleaning, myself. If they had cleaned the soot off of my dishes there wouldn't have been flakes of food on them, that came right off with a finger nail. I've never been so disappointed. read more

If I ever wanted to gut the once-beautiful interior of my home, rip out precious hand-plastered walls, demolish rare Italian marble countertops and slash a delicate designer wallpaper depicting a traditional Persian countryside, I know exactly who I would call again- his name is Gilbert. And he and his team (Obed, Felix, Elvis, Ricardo M, Jairo, Jimmy and Adolfo) destroyed my home in the best way possible. After an extreme combination of bad luck and a broken water hose, my entire 2nd and 1st floor were reminiscent of the great Titanic tragedy. I quickly scanned the interweb for results on "what the f*ck do I do when my house floods?" and called Dry1Out- during emergency hours nonetheless- in a sheer state of panic. Manny was the first to come assess the damage late at night and carefully described what kind of beast of damage I was facing. What happened over the next few days was painful at first, but Gilbert and Team swiftly annihilated my decor to save my home. They were incredibly empathetic to my situation, took care of billing and insurance directly, and made the flooding situation as smooth and simple as possible. And I am entirely grateful for all of it, not only to prevent further damage in my home, but also salvaging two neighboring townhomes from The-Spill-Heard-'Round-The-Block. Ray Garcia and Donald aka Batman and Robin were literally our lifesavers! There's nothing that they can't do! We had a sewage backup which resulted to it spilling onto the selling floor of our store. Without them, we would still be stranded with a truck parked out in the parking lot unable to deliver our goods to us! We were so lucky to have crossed paths with Ray and Donald! Their team did not cover up before starting, everything was covered in dust even things that were not damaged or moldy from the flood. I had an urgent need after my master bath master bedroom guest bath and guestroom were flooded. I contacted Dry1Out who I found on the Internet. Within 1 1/2 hours a team of three men led by Rodney arrived. They quickly and expediently vacuumed up water and began blowing warm air across the floors and into the walls that were affected. For six days fans and humidifiers ran to dry out the walls. The heat proved effective and everything was dry within a week without having to tear out any part of the walls. Ray G, Luis and Marvis did smoke damage restoration at my home following a kitchen fire in August, 2018. There was soot essentially everywhere and a really bad plastic smoke odor throughout the home. We have children, including a newborn, so our main concern was their health and safety. We had a fire in the house and just right after firefighters left "dry 1" came out of nowhere. Not sure if they're connected to the firefighters. I was new to the situation so I was shock when "dry 1" started to clean the house. I felt better when State Farm Adjustor told us that it's going to be under insurance. So many of them cleaning the house (Vicky was the leader) and packing our stuffs properly. They were careful and they're wearing proper gear for the situation and mask too. They clean rooms including walls and ceilings to make sure that we won't smell any remnants from the fire. Rodrigo and Ricardo (plus 1 guy that I didn't get the name)are the demolition guys who are really careful and expert in what they do. I also say stay away from these guys. I give them one star cause they did tear up the floor. Gave them a key to our house so we can go to work. Told them all, Do not open the bedroom door cause we dont our cats to get out. Got home from work, cats are running around the works are gone. What are you doing in my bedroom. Insurance company puts us in a hotel the next day. I go home every day to check progress. I find sliding glass door unlocked, front door wide open. Neighbors walk by the guys standing by their truck and smells marijuana. When they finish and pack up their stuff I find that I am missing a full box (10) of N95 dust masks out of a cabinet in my garage. Had to be searching in my cabinets to find them. Then I found the empty box shoved behind other boxes on the other side of garage. What are you doing in my garage. Called the owner Shanna Pacheco and she assured me she would take care of it. She did give me 4 masks and a apology and said she would investigate and make it right. Failed to do that and Now she won't return my calls or texts. read more
