A friend recommended this place, and it's kind of mysterious because you have to know what to look for when finding this place. Once you're in they have the name for the bar. Really cool And hip bar. They have their drinks/cocktails labeled on cardboard boxes hanging at the top of the bar. Cool interior design cohesively put together with unique furnishing and modern art. Music was also spot on. This place is a vibe and so are the drinks. I love horchata so I had tot run the horchata tequila drink!

So you need to know about this spot cause there is no sign, but all the locals know about it, well at least the cool ones! Set back off Commerce there is a unique wall mural over the door. Walk into a groovy little open format bar/ alchemist lab! Seriously there is a "Mad Scientist" at work here making all their own tinctures and potions! And it works! These cocktails are the most creative, delicious and unique anywhere in the Arts District! If you can't find a memorable drink just ask Joey he will make one up! Like most spots around the Arts they have a back patio and lots of seating inside but sit at the bar top if you can because that's where the show is!

Special thanks to the bar staff at Liquid Diet for making our outing more memorable. Liquid Diet does an incredible job of delivering a unique drinking experience. We can't believe how well their drinks capture the essence of different entrees. We highly recommend the Gin Vindaloo and Pico de Gallo Michelada!!!!

I had friends from out of town who wanted to do the touristy thing. After a recommendation from Hugh at the CHAD for good cocktails, we ended up at Liquid Diet. If you don't know what you're looking for, you may think it's Voodoo Brewing, but look for the door next to it. I got the Key Lime cocktail and friends got the Pico de Gallo Michelada, the Grapefruit Negroni, and the Yuzu shot. My friends did not care for the Michelada but I thought it was delicious, tastes just like pico. All the the drinks were great and the bartender was very nice and informative, answering all the questions we had about the drinks. Pretty much all of the things to make their cocktails are made in-house. The decor is dark, but very chill.

I stopped by Liquid Diet with two friends recently to check out the vibe. It definitely has that classic dive bar atmosphere--unpretentious and laid back. The staff was really friendly and made us feel welcome as soon as we walked in. I decided to try the pico de gallo michelada, and it was a very interesting experience, to say the least. It tasted exactly like pico de gallo in liquid form. If you're a fan of those specific flavors, you'll probably find it fascinating, though it was a bit of a unique taste profile for me. Overall, it's a decent spot for a casual hang with friends, but it didn't quite hit the mark for a higher rating this time around.

Got their yuzu drop shot and the chocolate chip banana bread spirit forward cocktail. Both were amazingly balanced and tasty. I think this is my favorite cocktail bar at the moment. I'll definitely come back to try more drinks soon. Lydia was my bartender she didn't make us feel rushed even though we came close to closing time and was chatting a lot with my friends.

Ordered a couple cocktails here recently. It was kind of hard to find the location, there were no marked signs. I just happened to walk into a building that looked open and asked where liquid diet was and they said you're here. The service was great and they were quick and able to explain the different cocktails. I ordered the horchata drink and the sour apple. My fave of the two would definitely be the horchata. I was not a fan of how sour the apple drink was.

Our bartender at Nocturno recommended Liquid Diet for our next stop. What a find! Yes, per other reviews it's down an alley and easiest to find by looking for Voodoo Brewing and then find the business to the left of it. IMO the vibe is not dive bar so much as industrial minimalist art garage. Yes, please. Service was super pro and the drinks on offer for the night are each listed on a piece of cardboard over the bar. Very fresh flavor profiles, plenty of green flavors (I had the horseradish vodka shot with a chaser of clarified tomato and cucumber - or maybe green pepper?- still dreaming of it), and plenty of other options for sweet, sour, spicy, burny - whatever your inclination, they've got a science-y, balanced, and artistic take on it. It felt like a secret cocktail lab. My sister had the chocolate chip banana bread cocktail and it was delicious, complex and beautiful. You could stare into the abyss in their clear, clear ice! This is the opposite of a fussy speakeasy but with the same reverence to the craft of cocktail-building and I loved it. Def a locals hang and welcoming of visitors.

Liquid Diet is such an awesome spot in the Arts District! It's sort of hidden, but that is a part of its charm! Easily one of the best drinks I have found in the Arts District- although the signs make things look super simplistic and a bit grungy, the drinks are sophisticated and very tasty. All of the staff I met were extremely funny and service was really quick. It's a small bar and you can go outside if you want to hang out outdoors. Its simplicity is paired with some awesome jams, good drinks, and very clean restrooms. Would definitely recommend checking the place out if you like good bars and also hidden bars.

I've been here since last year every time I visit Las Vegas. Definitely a fun vibe visiting this place. Parking is a bit limited but I've been ubering/lyfting here so it's never been an issue for me getting here. The two times I've been here, I've been coming here 30 mins early but there isn't a wait time thankfully and it starts to get crowded probably 30 mins after open. I've came here on weekends and it's surprisingly not busy but could be cause this place seems to be more than locals now than tourists. Now when it comes to the inside, it's pretty small but still had a great vibe when it comes to the bar and with the tables they have. The drinks they have are also really good too, they have never ceased to impress me! They got a bunch of shot drinks too and their non-alcoholic drinks are pretty affordable too! Some of the drinks are pretty strong with the alcohol so if you like some strong alcohol, I'd say try out this place! I would definitely recommend trying out this place if you want a good vibe and you want some good cocktails drinks.

If you blink, you'll miss it. This unassuming warehouse like bar has the feel of a college fraternity party but with more interesting drinks. Open only 7pm -1am wed through sun, Liquid diet posts their drink menu on cardboard signs, changing it daily couches, long tables and a bar provide limited seating for what becomes a rowdy crowd. Whether you come here before your next stop, after first friday, or late night just before clheading homez you are sure to find some delicious drinks. Drawbacks, when crowded it is difficult to get a drink and inevitibly the room begins to smell like spilled alcohol Also no food. Liquid diet is a great addition to the art district.

    Banana Daiquiri for $16
    Ken M.

I've been here a few times with a friend who loves this place. I appreciate the casual vibe and creative cocktail selection. During this visit, I ordered their Banana Daiquiri. I didn't realize it wasn't the standard frozen beverage. Instead, it was poured into a small cocktail glass--maybe eight ounces at most. It was good, but the $16 price for such a small amount is too rich for my blood. Next time, I'll stick with a pint of beer for half the price. If the cocktail pricing was more reasonable, I would be more inclined to buy multiple drinks, spending more money in total, and patronizing the business for a longer duration. Maybe that's their business model: serve premium-priced drinks, then quickly send customers back on their pub crawl. Service was friendly and attentive during their peak time on a Friday night.

Just a rare find on a random Saturday night. Literally in the Alley! A small bar thst packs a bug punch. Very intimate, good vibes, great music, comfortable eclectic decor and phenomenal service. No food but the drinks were 10/10. I would recommend for a girls night out, guys bar hopping or date night. Don't sleep on this. Get there or be square!

Walked in at around 8:30/9pm and it was pretty dead. My friend and I were able to secure a booth, which felt intimate. It was ample space for 2 people but I can imagine if you had 4 people you'd feel squished. My friend ordered the Naked & Afraid and I ordered the Tropical Howler with vodka. Both of our cocktails were amazing and we'd order them again. If you like sweet cocktails, Tropical Howler is definitely for you. We both ordered a shot of the Mind Eraser, which had coffee liqueur I believe, I am not sure but you could taste the coffee and it was pretty good. Our bartender gave it to us with straws so you could probably sip it like a cocktail or take it like a shot. We liked the vibes in here due to its dark and intimate feel. We probably would have gotten a different vibe if we didn't have our own booth. I would come here again!

We were seated at the bar and had a nice time interacting with the cocktail craftsman/man in charge, Davey. The menu is his creative brainchild and changes a few times a year, with the current one based on the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. There's a 90 minute limit and 2 drink minimum per guest. Because of the craft and attention to detail that goes into each cocktail, we finished our 2 drinks just about right at the 90 minute mark. I really enjoyed both of my cocktails but the one that stood out to me the most was Strange Medicine. It was reminiscent of a martini but with Brie-washed Old Bison vodka, Cocchi Americano, and herb oil. It was so good that I wasn't sure what drink to choose next, but Davey was helpful with a great recommendation for another cocktail served with a chunk of parmesan cheese on top. Keep in mind that you're paying for the experience and the level of craft. So with a 2 drink minimum it won't be a cheap experience but it's definitely something worth checking out for the unique, creative cocktails.

Pro: Fear and Loathing menu, updated furniture, yummy drinks…read more Con: Not the previous Laundry Room you remembered, glorified tourist trap, lack of atmosphere control. Slow drink service. The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.

As someone who loves all things quirky and unusual, The Golden Tiki has always been right up my alley. When a friend came into town and wanted to celebrate her boyfriend's birthday, I thought it would be the perfect place to kick off our evening. I was able to make an online reservation just a couple of days in advance, which was quick and painless. What I didn't realize was that they offer a weekday happy hour and live music! We were seated in "Bull***t Corner," which turned out to be the perfect spot. We had a great view of both the bar and the entertainment, making for a lively and entertaining atmosphere. Also, can't forget to mention the service. The hosts were fun but our actual server was absolutely hysterical and fit right in with the fun. She kept us laughing throughout our visit, while also being incredibly attentive. Despite the busy atmosphere, she made sure our drinks were flowing, checked on us regularly, and made sure everything was taken care of. It's not often you find someone who can be both entertaining and genuinely great at their job, but she pulled it off effortlessly. Our guests were genuinely impressed, and everyone had a fantastic time. The drinks were excellent as always--I honestly don't think I've ever had a bad cocktail here. I haven't had the chance to try their food yet, and we decided to stick with a few drinks since we already had dinner reservations elsewhere, but after this visit, I definitely plan on coming back on a weeknight to order from the food menu. If you're looking for a fun, unique Vegas experience with great drinks, and plenty of personality, The Golden Tiki is always a solid choice.

I love when you give bartenders freedom to play and create something so good! Our cocktails were so interesting and very tasty. I'd love to come back when we have some more time and try some of the other drinks. Everything about this place was amazing to me! Vibe, staff, the drinks, I had a great time!

The indoor space is sexy and dark, beautifully designed with lots of velvet and rich textures all around. In a cool contrast, the back patio is a bright, vibrant mix of pink, turquoise, and white. While you're out there, be sure to snap a picture in their photo booth! The staff here is simply INCREDIBLE! They are always so welcoming and do a fantastic job of helping walk you through the menu. Because the cocktail menu changes frequently with unique, rotating themes, you get a completely fresh experience every single time you visit. On my last trip, the theme was music through different eras of time, which was easily one of my favorites yet. They also have standard house cocktails, be sure to check out the punch of the day! Before you leave, don't forget to check out their cool merch and swag, which is beautifully framed up on the wall right behind the bar. No matter where you are staying in Vegas, make sure to put Velveteen Rabbit at the very top of your destination list!

Our server, Jessica provided top-notch service, she was professional, attentive, and incredibly welcoming throughout the evening. They even surprised us with complimentary snacks and cocktail shots, which was such a generous and thoughtful touch that made our night feel even more special! The small bites we ordered were also absolutely delicious and paired perfectly with our drinks. Sure, it is known; however, it was surprisingly not that busy for a Friday. We were seated at a shell like booth and this space between the back side of the Players Club and the Cash cage, is a lovely and elegant place. Is it expensive? yes. Most other fine establishments are also expensive in Vegas. It is what it has become. Is that good? Probably not; however, it does give you the opportunity to experience something unique and special. Although we had one server, the servers worked very well together throughout our 90 minutes here and really team assisted with each other. Between the two of us, we had three drinks. You can page through the very detailed menu, and I decided to have the Passion's Serenade drink, which was a glass partially frozen with a coconut and passionfruit puree and then also had some chocolate rum, vanilla and fresno chili. It was a delicious drink, and actually was a great "sit back and wait" drink, because it took a while for the frozen portion to melt. The experience comes with some complimentary bar snacks and then some complimentary mini jello shots on the way out. The check is presented in an exquisite "Vault" Type of book. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would return again in the future. Expect drink prices to range from about $30 to $70, with some even higher for the "market price" drinks.
