What can I say? Our first visit there two months ago we enjoyed it immensely with NIEVE AS OUR LOUNGE SINGER. SHE CAME OVER TO OUR TABLE, WE FRIENDED EACH OTHER ON FACEBOOK. We enjoyed her immensely. Now come up 2 1/2 months to June 20. We had already eaten dinner out and decided to stop by again since we enjoyed capo's so much two months previous. We parked it at the bar and ordered our favorite drink, a couple of old fashions. The first thing we noticed was no large ice cube in the glass, as it's normally served, no Luxardo cherry, but the bourbon was Woodford. We sat and watched the World Cup and enjoyed our time there. WOW !!! 2 old fashioned's= $50 ...... say what ? We expressed our shock to host tending bar and he laughed and stated "you pay for the ambiance." Really ? In the back at the bar, a singer that could not hold a candle to Singer Nieve,........ hahahaha!!!! I think we might not be going back. Too pricey for not being on the strip in a rough neighborhood. Hearing "F_ _ _" from the staff constantly is not ambience either. Not happy campers

Well, Diane and I enjoyed a great treat this Memorial Day weekend. We dined here for the first time, for dinner. I had hoped that the food would be very good, but it was uniformly excellent, and we both agreed that the fried Genovese Calamari was the best we have ever tasted. All rings, the Calamari was crispy on the outside but tender on the inside, with some observed sweet notes to it. In fact, I detected sweetness in the Pasta Fagioli, along with less included beef than customary but a great amount of pleasant melting cheese. And, later, the Spaghetti Sauce, too, was sweet. The Marinara Sauce was not particularly sweet, but mild as I prefer. Italian bread slathered with soft butter was a nice starter, but I would have appreciated knowing in advance that there would be a nominal charge for Bread Service. And my small Caesar Salad was very good with sweet dressed Romaine leaves, but less remarkable than the other dishes I sampled. The Alfredo Sauce in Diane's Fredo's Wise Guy was creamy and tasty. Some spice was detected in both my single large meatball and long sausage link, but it was only mild in scope. And the flavorful sauce adhered to the delicious spaghetti made in house. Our dining room was very dark in a setting that included both tables of distressed wood, and plush booths near the well-lit stage. Service by mostly buff, bearded, and mobbed up-looking waiters in bowties, including our main server Juan, was extremely accommodating and punctual. We received requested extra lemon slices right away. Diane's requests for pepperoncini to be placed on the side of the Calamari, for penne to be substituted for fettuccine, for Grilled Shrimp to be added to the Alfredo Sauce with the tails cut off, and for no greens to be placed on top of her pasta were all cheerfully granted. And I was permitted to add one 8 oz. sausage link to an 8 oz. meatball at the heart of my entree of Santucci's Pasta, which is essentially Spaghetti and Meatball. Of course, adding protein to a dish raised the cost of the item, but we expected this. A surprise for us was that live singers performed while we and numerous other guests dined. As we were eating, entertaining duties were shared over a two-hour period by a female vocalist and a male crooner. And both were very good at their craft. I was told that live entertainment is presented here every night. An unusual event occurred after meal's end. I was laying out cash to pay for our dinners, and a fan suddenly blew air over our table and flipped a bill into the atmosphere that remained airborne until it landed underneath a chair at a nearby table. It was retrieved by a staffer and returned to me. At the time the currency soared away, I did not know its denomination, but it turned out to be a Five Dollar bill. I gave it to the retriever as a tip, since he had also been helpful in providing us with extra lemon slices and removing used dishes earlier in the evening. We will surely return, sooner rather than later. Veal Marsala beckons!

Such a cool spot but the food is not that great. There is live entertainment and they go table to table. Not sure if the food is family style cause we wanted to share and they said we couldn't but the salad is huge and we can share that? The ceaser salad is not that good. It's sweet! Got fried ravioli thought it was a main dish but didn't like it. It was crispy on the edges. The chicken parmigiana tasted basic. Vibes were 10/10 thou.

Ever going to Las Vegas make a reservation at this restaurant it's a speakeasy your going to love it The food is old school Italian so delicious the service is excellent, it's a Mafia themed place if you like Al Capone style then you should go, the other thing is the Mob Museum trust me

    The stage, great entertainment!

My business partner recommended this place and couldn't have had a better time. Excellent service great food amazing entertainment. You can't have a bad experience here. Will definitely be back. The shrimp scampi pasta was so good. The NY strip was solid, bolognese very flavorful. Don't think just go!

SANTUCCI'S SPAGHETTI with sausage. Swapped out spaghetti for fettuccini noodles.

On our last night in Vegas we wanted to have another dinner that involves the meal in front of a singer. Italian was the craving of the day and Capo's Restaurant & Speakeasy looked to fit the bill. The restaurant was well away from the strip-- not a single casino in sight. The unassuming building sat on a corner lot but it looked really sus as there were no windows and the entrance was hidden on the side. The entryway had a list of warnings followed by the helpful address of the nearest Olive Garden for those not willing to accept the warnings. The food involved handmade noodles cooked to the perfect al dente texture and not cut up. Perfect! I had the SANTUCCI'S SPAGHETTI with sausage but with spaghetti swapped out for fettuccini. Other party members had the fettuccini Alfredo and the arriaba penne. The food was excellent and the service was top notch. My drink got replaced as soon as I finished the first one, without needing to prompt the waiter. Now the best part- the part that attracted us here-- the singer was excellent and sang our favorite classic and modern day renditions to a jazzy accompaniment. We really enjoyed and will add this to our Vegas dinner spots for the future.

What a great night we had at Capos. We walked in with no reservation and walked up to the door and rang the bell. The people in front of us had a reservation. When he answers the door he is very sarcastic so be ready. I asked him if we could get a table, and he said hell no you're sitting at the bar. We laughed and said OK. We sat at the bar and the entertainment was already started, he was up on a tiny stage singing. The vibe of this place is amazing. You feel like you are in a mob movie. They also had a magician going around doing tricks. The staff were very attentive and we were greeted right away. We ordered drink and appetizers. My wife ordered an Italian margarita, at first a bit sweet but once she added the lime and mixed abut it was perfect. For starters we ordered the calamari, cheesy garlic bread, and a Caesar salad. Calamari came with some peppers and was really tender and delicious with a little kick. The cheesy bread so soft and amazing sauce with it. The Caesar salad was bit different than I have had before but it was very good. For dinner we ordered shrimp scampi and Uncle Pauly's Arribiata with blackened chicken. They were both amazing. The scampi light, fresh and so good. The penne past was also perfectly cooked and the sauce was succulent. The blackened chicken added to the dish in a very good way. We did not finish the dinner and had leftovers for the next day. So good again for leftovers. Overall we over this place. The service, atmosphere, entertainment, and the food all were perfect. We will be back again. Next time we will make a reservation! lol

Where do I begin ?! Food is out of this world, the pasta is the best I've ever had.... Every dish was filled with so much flavor ... chefs kiss !!!! Service was great! Attentive staff ... the ambiance is the best. It really feels like you're eating with mobsters. The entrance is the best part.....I won't spoil it too much but this is a must try when I'm Vegas !!! I would 100% recommend and return !

From the moment you walk in, it feels like you've stepped into a vintage Vegas supper club, red velvet curtains, warm string lights, live music, and that moody, old-school ambiance that just makes the entire night feel special. I had the lobster tail over ravioli with a rich red sauce and capers, perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor. The presentation alone was stunning, but the taste? Even better. Every bite was buttery and delicious. The crème brûlée was okay, not as sweet as I wanted it to be but great overall. The drinks were just as impressive. The moscato with dinner was so crisp and sweet. Capo's doesn't just serve dinner, it delivers an experience.

If you're looking for a fun night out with live entertainment, no crimbsnatchers running around ruining your meal and good cocktails, this is the place to go. Don't get me wrong kids are awesome, but there is a time and place and it's not when I'm trying to enjoy my meal in an adult atmosphere. Restaurant has a little speakeasy mystique to it, have to ring a random doorbell and a whole in the door opens up. Adds a little old vegas fun to it. Decor is dimly lit old style Italian / steakhouse vibes with a stage in the front. Fret not, for graciously aging folks, the music is ear bursting and they'll give you a little light for your table . Now let's get to the nitty gritty: Drinks- 2 dirty marines with blue cheese olives, both impeccably made. Food- bread basket was provided and we started off the calamari was a little salty by itself but dipped in the marina provided it was perfect. I ordered the veal Marsala that came with a side of mushroom risotto and player 2 got the renowned spaghetti and meatballs. I barely had a chance to try his meatball before the plate was clean. The veal was tender and thin, well cooked with lots of mushrooms. Dessert: I always have to get the tiramisu if it's in the menu, and well. I'd happily pay for a tray of it. We were sat at the bar, and Geri, the bartender was amazing. She took great care of us and the service was great. We will definitely be back.

Still the most fun you can have in Vegas with your clothes on. Took my daughter to Capo's for dinner on a Monday night at 6. The place was packed. They seated us up by the stage as requested. The decor, entry, banter, and menu remains as always. Impeccable, fun service. My daughter had a specialty cocktail and said it was amazing. We ordered a calamari appetizer that was fresh and delicious! Our dinners were far too large to finish. Chicken Marsala that my daughter said was best she's ever had, and I dug into their classic lasagna. Filled with layers of meatballs, cheese and Italian sausage. I'd alert you that their signature red sauce is one of the sweet side, and if that isn't your preference, opt for the Alfredo options or the piccata. Their steaks are always delicious and well cooked and I personally love their mushroom risotto side. I could be happy with that creamy goodness as an entree. The lounge singer is fabulous and takes requests, as long as they're Deano, Sinatra or the like. It's a wonderful place for a fun birthday, anniversary or just a great date. It's loud, rambunctious and FUN. Prepare to be a part of the atmosphere and party. You need a reservation. Parking is easy and it's on Sahara and doesn't require walking through a smoky casino. It's in its own building. I love watching the Godfather on the tv above the bar. The staff is like a big family and they are all in on the theme! Just go and enjoy, that is what they strive for and absolutely deliver!! So very glad that they are still around and obviously thriving!! Viva Capo's baby!!!

Wow, what an amazing experience. The best way I could describe this restaurant was detail oriented. The atmosphere sent us right back to the Italian MOB era. Everything from when we first walked in the door to the drink and food selection all the way down to live entertainment. We went for a friend's birthday, and we were not disappointed. We had a party of eight made a previous reservation. The table is set and ready for us right when we walked in. Each of us ordered a different entrée and shared a couple appetizers and drinks and wow, what a bang for your buck! The food was excellent everything down to their specials. We will definitely be back for another girls night!

We had 5:30 reservations and were seated upon arrival. The table was small even for two people. We had to move things around to provide room for the appetizer and entrees. The location was adjacent to the bar. If you would like to be seated near the entertainment stage ask upon entry. The live entertainment was a variety of old and new songs. We could hear the music but unable to see the performer. The atmosphere is from back in the day supper club/speakeasy dark. Plan to use the table lamp or cell phone light to read the menu. Our server asked if we would like bread and butter which were very good. However she did not tell there was a charge for it. My issue is not the cost but not being advised since many restaurants provide it complementary. We shared the Caprese salad. The tomatoes were nice a juicy and there was plenty of basil and mozzarella. For entrees we ordered the chicken Piccata and the chicken Marsala. There were two large chicken breasts for each entrée. The chicken was moist and tender. The Marsala dish had plenty of mushrooms. The Piccata comes with creamy garlic mashed potatoes and the Marsala with mushroom risotto which was very delicious. Our server Queen B was friendly and accommodating. She checked on us periodically but must have been serving many tables as she did not come around for a period of time. We had to wait quite a while for the check.

What time does your music start on Thursday night.?

The live entertainment is 7 days a week from opening to closing. One singer from 4 to 7 and a different one from 7 to close. :)

Do they have a corkage fee?

Yes, i think we paid about $25

What time does the live music start? I'm planning on going at 5pm on a Wednesday night.

    Why don't you ask Capo?!

Where's the best place to park here if your not staying at the hotel and coming from out of town?…

They have a nice big parking lot. And because this place attracts a classy bunch, lots of gorgeous cars outside.

Do they have live entertainment nightly and kids allowed?

Entertainment, yes (think Sinatra). Kids - sure... kind of dark, loud... may not be conducive to children, but the establishment is not lude by any means.

Last time I went with friends he had a password. I made a reservation on Open Table - do I just call for password? I want my guests to have the full experience 😂

We didn't have to give a password, but I'm sure you could just make one up to play the part.

Hi, do you still have the giant meatless soy meatball that you had a few years ago? We had come multiple times for it, and will definitely return if you still have it?

There meatballs are one of the best I’ve had. They don’t have vegan options. So the meatballs are not meatless. I don’t recall ever seeing a giant meatless meatball on the menu.

Is their pasta (spaghetti, gnocchi, etc.) made in house?

All pastas are made fresh in house twice weekly.

    Is the pasta homemade?

Absolutely. It is advertised as handmade pasta in the menus I posted. Check out the photos of the menus I posted. Absolutely delicious food! You must try this place! You won't regret it!

Can I still order a pasta dish that doesn't appear on your menu anymore? Specifically the angels with dirty faces?

Is it 21 and over or can I bring the family?

Family but not good for young children

What are the hours of operation these days? None of the online sources seem to match each other.

We were there 2x from 330 and another 5pm. Google the business as they ha and e the hours and days listed

Do they have entertainment on Friday? We're coming on July 15th to celebrate my sons 21st

    Yes!

Is this on strip? If so what hotel?

It's 3.7 miles WEST of The Strip on Sahara Avenue, on the south side of the street.

What time does the entertainment start on Saturday evenings?

We were there between 7 & 8 and their wonderful music was playing! Two different people & both were great!!! Love Capo's!

All I remember was going through the casino areas of Paris Hotel, and then going down one floor to the Horseshoe area to reach this bar just minutes before closing on a Friday close to midnight. I quickly grabbed a seat at the bar area and perused the menu, which has a ton of drinks, beers, wines, mocktails and even snacks. Even when close to closing time, patrons filled up all the bar seating which isn't a lot; most seating was couches and tables near the knickknacks. I got myself the Bee's Knees, which is cranberry and pineapple juice, apple puree, cinnamon fire syrup and some ginger beer according to their menu just outside the front entrance. I can only describe the taste as a sweetened fruit juice with a ton of fizz from the ginger beer, and the pineapple and apple came out on top for overpowering the drink overall. Some mint leaves and a slice of grapefruit were added in, and the mint leaves made this drink feel more like a special cocktail. This and other mocktails is $13 before tax, so pretty high price especially when considering their other alcoholic drinks are not that much higher than that... I actually still loved my drink, though! It was a nice wrap-up for my last day in Vegas and I'm curious now to look a lot more carefully at the stuff on the walls if I ever come here again!

Sure, it is known; however, it was surprisingly not that busy for a Friday. We were seated at a shell like booth and this space between the back side of the Players Club and the Cash cage, is a lovely and elegant place. Is it expensive? yes. Most other fine establishments are also expensive in Vegas. It is what it has become. Is that good? Probably not; however, it does give you the opportunity to experience something unique and special. Although we had one server, the servers worked very well together throughout our 90 minutes here and really team assisted with each other. Between the two of us, we had three drinks. You can page through the very detailed menu, and I decided to have the Passion's Serenade drink, which was a glass partially frozen with a coconut and passionfruit puree and then also had some chocolate rum, vanilla and fresno chili. It was a delicious drink, and actually was a great "sit back and wait" drink, because it took a while for the frozen portion to melt. The experience comes with some complimentary bar snacks and then some complimentary mini jello shots on the way out. The check is presented in an exquisite "Vault" Type of book. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would return again in the future. Expect drink prices to range from about $30 to $70, with some even higher for the "market price" drinks.

The highlight of this evening was this hidden speakeasy cocktail bar inside the Bellagio!…read more Paisley greeted us as we entered The Vault and let us know that without a reservation we only had the option of seats at the bar. We've have awesome experiences watching bartenders before AND we were determined to stay so we happily agreed. Paisley was a delight to chat with as we waited for only 10 minutes while seats opened up for us at the bar. I also got to check out the restroom, which boasts a high tech toilet with automated opening/flushing and a heated seat! We had the pleasure of meeting Michael our bartender and Yesi the bartender apprentice, and regulars Bill and Kim from Texas on one side of us, and Mario from California on the other as we spent the next hour and half savoring one luxury cocktail each and some complimentary snacks (seasoned pistachio nuts, cheesy crackers, and a little amazing bite that I can't remember the ingredients of). Welcome complimentary drinks: "Key to my heart" -- fun little rum drinks to start off with served in a spherical black case surrounded by dry ice! (See video). A bit sweet for my taste but tasty and just a little shot's worth (to be sipped). Cocktails: La Vie En Rose: (5/5) Rose infused gin, house made strawberry infused sweet vermouth, aperol, orange essence. Gorgeous spherical ice cube with a real flower frozen inside). Described as a summer Negroni. I chose it because I love Negronis and am always up for trying a variation on a classic like that. The Fountain (5/5): bourbon, Punt e mes vermouth (55 year old bottle!), orange essence. The Vault's take on the classic Manhattan. Michael gave us a taste of the punt e mes sweet vermouth and it was sublime. Both spectacular cocktails were definitely made for sipping and savoring. And to top it off! Little espresso shots at the end....mmm delectable dessert my bites to complete a flawless experience. We'll be back! Michael is a masterful mixologist and Yesi is an awesome apprentice! Highly recommend!

Our visit here was part of a Craft Cocktail VIP Food & Drink tour at The Resorts Casino…read more.. Unexpected but fantastic experience... so fun that I returned during this trip as the vibe and cocktails were on point. The store front display was a complete shocker and surprise as we didn't see this one coming at all. Hello Kitty Kitty... that's all I have to say. Once we got in, the decor alone was awesome. I felt like I was transported back to my days in China, Malaysia, and Singapore. The DJ was spinning some great hits and when we started a conversation, I realized she was doing all on 45's records (for all you young folks, go do your research!!!). DOPE!!! Reposado As far as the cocktails we had there signature "One Night Stand" Margarita with my ultimate favorite, Reposado Tequila. One of the guest on the tour wasn't a big tequila drinker (she had some good stories as to why, we all do) so she was like, "here you go friend"... And for those that didn't show up on the tour... "here you go friend again"... And you best believe that I actually came back the next evening in the mist of a busy day just to have that margarita and it hit just like the first few times. I got to chill more and soak it all in... What a great vibe! The staff was welcoming, cool and friendly. They treated us like true VIP's. I look forward to coming back. Just make sure you wave to the kitty and rub the kitty's belly before entering.

This is more like info to others than a review as we couldn't go in…read more After our dinner, we got back to the hotel around 9:30 and our party leader said to bring us to a secret bar. The store front totally surprised us as we really thought it's a store selling stuffed animals. The hint is that there's a host stand and a sign that says "please wait to be seated". Unfortunately, we are a party of 10 and the host told us that it's a small bar that probably fits 6 (?) and we had to wait maybe an hour and half before our turn. So there, we couldn't make it in. Maybe the morale of the story is to go early?

The attention to detail in the decor is awesome, featuring a fireplace, skis, and stickers from all around the world. The staff, decked out in full ski attire, were super welcoming and gave us excellent recommendations from the menu. We tried several cocktails, and every single one was absolutely delicious. If you aren't familiar, this is kind of/sort of part of Superfrico, to gain entry you need to line up between some ski poles off to the side of the entrance, after a while someone will come out and take you in. The inside is just absolutely oozing with a cool (no pun intended) themed 80's vibe. My wife and I sat at the bar and got a drink each, I got some sort of bubblegum cola mocktail, which was fantastic, and my wife got some sort of vermouth based cocktail that she said "tastes like christmas", we were both VERY happy with our drinks. The staff was very friendly, and honestly its very impressive how good and fast they are at cranking out drinks. I think each bartender must have been making 8 drinks at once, every single one of them was made fast, got to the person it needed to, and if they were as good as ours was, all without sacrificing quality. Really top notch place, I loved it!
