Worst customer service, I tried to get a silk press from here but had to take my business elsewhere because I was treated so rudely. I stated never mind because I didn't want to come anymore. Our conversation was 5 min. And the whole time was me trying to make an appointment but your assistant was disrespectful and making it very hard. She never greeted me or said I reached the salon she said "hello" and then "what do you want" after telling her what I wanted she told me I had to give her a specific dates and times and she will either approve or deny it, instead of telling me what was available like I asked. Despite her rude tone I never changed mine and If you would like to downplay what happened instead of addressing the issue in its entirety that shows even more about your customer service. read more

I love me some Whitney and Naomi! Whitney has been braiding/twisting my hair for 6 months straight and I honestly don't want no one else in my head. When it's time for me to take out my braids, my edges are still intact and my hair is a lot more fuller. They both are very neat and clean with their work and the shop in general. Finding a good, fast, and professional braider is hard. This is my third or fourth time coming here and Whit is my go to braider. My braids/twist always come out good and last long. My braids are never tight and my edges are thankful. I live in Pinole and drive all the way here just to get my hair braided and if that isn't proof of they're work then I don't know what is. Her shop is in a quiet area in Hayward, she has the front windows of her shop covered with sheer black curtains and I absolutely love that. I took my daughter here to get her hair braided and I was so impressed with their skills and knowledge on how to braid hair. Two important customer service skills I loved about this place was 1) Whit explained to my daughter step by step what she was doing while braiding her hair -.I thought this was great since my daughter had never had her hair braided and Whit put her at ease throughout the process...2)The second attribute was Whit also explained to my daughter how to manage her hair after it was braided in the coming weeks...She also told my daughter she could text or call her with questions on how to manage it going forward...That'ss what sold me because I have no idea how to manage it and neither does my daughter...That's great relationship building so that my daughter develops trust in her.
