My wife and I went in to take a look at a 2013 Fiat Abarth. Customer service from the sales guy was good but I'm really not satisfied with my purchase. I explained to the guy I have been a mechanic for 13+ years and I wasn't in the market to buy a car with alot of issue. He assured me that the car was in great condition, it passed the VA safety inspection and needed no work. Went on a test drive noticed the passenger window regulator and rear wiper motor didn't work, no big deal, easy fix... completed my purchase with finance who didn't not tell me I needed to complete emissions on my vehicle before I could get plates nor did he call and ask if I had completed this task. It took me calling after 2wks to get a status. Also the porter driving the vehicle to get cleaned could not drive manual and luckily he didn't burn out the clutch driving it in the parking lot. A couple of days later i took the car to my job to check it over noticed directional tires on wrong and 2 have impact bubbles, "passed state inspection, no issues"!! Didn't want to write this review but I'm kinda pissed off after receiving a letter in the mail for a credit denial for twice as much as I needed for the loan and after my 4th time driving the vehicle the check engine light came on so now i need emissions!!! Like I said in the beginning of this review "window regulator and rear wiper motor no big deal" but now I need those items, 2 tires, and whatever I need to fix for the check engine light. How it passed state inspection beyond me but beware, make sure you fully have these vehicles checked by a mechanic before buying a car from this place. Maximum Auto outlet in Manassas Virginia must be one of the worst used car dealerships ever. I would not recommend buying a car there to anyone... On my first visit to the dealership my salesman, Mr. K was too busy to talk to me, but had plenty of time to talk on the phone. I was in desperate need of a car (I know my own fault). Mr, K was "willing to work with me" and take $250 off the Internet price. Wow, so generous. but again, I was desperate. Didn't buy this day I was just so annoyed at this salesman... I must have been on my meds because I went back and got to deal with "Mr. K" again, this time a lot less phone usage... This is a plus... I got my incredibly awesome $250 off Internet price but, they ended up selling me a car with non-working equipment (headlight). Told me they would fix it, but I would need to come back. Again, I was in desperate need of a car. They removed the safety inspection and gave me a rejection sticker. They took $100 off the sales price for me to do my own repairs. I bought it. Mr. K. told the lot guy to give me the keys when the car got around from removing the safety inspection sticker and walked off. I mean at least be man enough to hand me the keys and tell me, I got you sucka!!! I didn't get a full tank of gas (1/8). Didn't get a car wash. I should get the commission for the sale of this car. I ended up doing my own work, including jockeying the car from the lot while Mr. K talked on his phone. Oh, so turns out the headlight is after market. They forgot to mention that when they were rejecting the safety inspection. Only "it needed a new light"... New light and inspection $250. So, Mr. K is sitting back saying gott'em!!! Yes that got me, but they will never do it again... I will tell everyone I ever meet to never buy from them... Wouldn't buy anything from Mr. K. ever again and wouldn't buy another car from this place if it was the only dealership in the land. This place is a freakin joke. Never in all my years of shopping for cars have I encountered a dealership that doesn't want to make a sale happen. I stumbled upon a 2014 Nissan GTR Track Edition at this dealership. Upon putting an availability inquiry on cars.com/CarGurus.com, I was contacted by Marla. I informed her that I had a trade in and that I wanted a rough ball park figure prior to making the trip. Now I understand that without physical inspection of my vehicle, they couldn't give me an accurate offer, but nonetheless I wanted a general idea. Marla told me that Mario, the general manager, would be able to assist me. He called me and I gave him the details of my vehicle. He gave me his cell so I could text him all the pictures of my car. I made an appointment for Memorial Day to check out the GTR. I contacted the dealership multiple times requesting an update from Mario PRIOR to me making the long trip, as I reside in Delaware. I was promised multiple times that Mario would contact me back. I needed to coordinate whether I was going to drive my trade in to the dealership or have my wife drive me there. Since they never got back to me, I decided not to make the trip. They contact me on Memorial Day asking if I was still going to make my appointment when they have been ignoring my requests for almost a week!? No thanks. Their explanation was that Mario is very busy as he is the general manager. I've requested multiple times to be forwarded to a sales person who could actually communicate with me. Since I have yet to hear back from them after that request, I figured they don't want to do business. I've read all the negative reviews thinking it was just customers not happy with their purchases, as used cars can have problems well after the purchase. However, I can attest to the negative ones relating to customer service as this dealership doesn't seem to pride itself on that. Also, the $595 doc/processing fee is a joke! The business manager who keeps responding to the reviews claiming that it's a MANDATORY STATE FEE is completely lying. These are individual DEALERSHIP IMPOSED fees. The only thing the state collects are taxes and registration fees relating to the vehicle (title, tags). Anytime a dealership says doc/processing fees are mandated by their state, just call BS on the spot. These fees just add a fixed revenue source for the dealership for any car sold regardless if it's a 90k car or a 5k beater. Wanted to buy the GTR from this dealership, but seeing as the general manager or anybody working there doesn't want to even contact a highly motivated customer after multiple requests by the customer, I think I'll pass on this one. read more

It's no wonder their Better Business Bureau accreditation has been revoked for failure to address marketplace disputes quickly, professionally, and in good faith. I was working with Pedro, the salesman, on a Toyota Tacoma. Based on the photos, videos and multiple conversations with him, I was led to believe this vehicle was in very good condition and that there were no major issues. Not once did their manager, salesman, or ad online disclose any issues with the vehicle. I explained to him that I was coming out of state and really needed him to be honest with me about the trucks overall condition, which he assured me that there were no major issues to be concerned of and that it was a "good to go" truck. So I made the flight up from Kansas City to pick up the truck. Upon arriving I found out that the truck had significant damage that was not reported but VERY apparent to the naked eye. As you can see from the attached photos, the entire roof of the truck was dented and scratched in multiple areas and extended to the A-pillars which comprises the integrity of the truck. I pointed this out to Pedro, who then directed me to Stephen Samoy, their sales manager. Stephen offered no explanation or justification for this gross misrepresentation of the vehicle that they listed for sale. They were unapologetic nor did they even offer me a ride back to the airport to fly home the same day. I spent $800 in travel due to their negligence. I requested for a refund of my deposit and travel and was denied a refund of any kind by the general manager and Stephen. I would be cautious with doing ANY business with this dealership. Either they didn't catch these significant and apparent issues during their inspection, which speaks to their quality of inspections and vehicles that they carry OR they caught the issues and chose to be dishonest and not disclaim the problems with the truck. This dealership is decent, i had no issues woth the buying process, I liked the people i worked with, and i did not overpay for my 2010 Mercedes E350. But there were some problems. The brakes were extremely faded (this did cost a bit of money to fix but it was expected from the cost of a mercedes), the rear brake pads weren't installed correctly and made a clicking noise (again, cost quite a bit but expected), there was no front license plate bracket so i had to get one from the dealership, and the COMAND wheel didnt work completely (it would allow me to use it but the spinning function didn't work). I would not be above buying from here again but be VERY careful and inspect the vehicle before you buy from here. read more

These guys are so racist! I set up an appointment to look at a car. My wife, and I drove all the way from Frederick, Md during rush hour. When we arrived, no one offered any help as we just stood around. Finally, someone aknowledge us by saying "we don't show cars after 4". "But I called and supposedly had this all set up", I said... But that didn't do any good. Apparently, these people had no intention of showing us the car, as it was in the rear of the showroom, behind 3 other cars! They even had the nerve to tell us we had to set another appointment, and that a credit check would be needed to show us the car. We got back in our car and drove to Porsche of Tysons Corner, and made a deal on a car there. I paid a bit more, but it was a much nicer car, and I was not treated like an animal! read more

First I'll say that I had no issues with our sales rep. He was very nice! The process was pretty simple since I paid cash, but I had to ask for paperwork in writing after being asked for a check. Really hard to write a check when you don't know the break down of charges. I was also irritated that I was asked to put 1000 of it on a card. I'm upset that a basic mechanical inspection did not happen. We left with almost zero gas in the tank. That just a basic customer service thing that you leave the dealership with more than a quarter tank. There was NO oil in the engine and we drove it 50 miles home before discovering that fact. And very disappointed we're having to put $2000+ more money in the car before it will pass inspection, but that is also our fault for not taking it to a mechanic for inspection before we finished the sale. read more

If I could give no stars then I would. I only bought my car because it was literally brand new, had 1800 miles and the carfax was clean. I won't buy a car from them again. 1. Never honored my college graduate incentives, deal was funded and finance person could care less. 2. Title office is a joke, nobody answers the phone, I'm still waiting for my tags. My lawyer is shadowing my interactions so he will floor them if I don't have my tags by the end of the month. 3. Never mentioned the additional county tax, that was a nice surprise. 4. Traded in a car with a full tank of gas, they refused to fill the tank on the new car. 5. Car traded in had 227,000 miles on it, could not pass safety. It's on their site for $4,000 they gave me $500. There is a safety sticker in the window, but I am almost certain they never did the repairs. Gold 02 Honda Civic LX it's a great car but have a mechanic look at it before you drive off. This is a true slam dunk dealership you get the three C's C your car C your keys C you later They have a few cream puffs, anything high miles avoid. I'm happy with my purchase, but I got lucky. Proceed with caution. Sorry to be so negative, again I am happy with my new car, just disappointed that they throw you in the garbage when you drive off. PLEASE READ THIS AND AVOID THIS PLACE. Purchased a 2009 Audi A3 Quattro with 69K miles for $9000. After two weeks of smooth driving, the Check Oil light came on and car was running very rough. The oil level was showing very low on the dipstick so I took a look underneath the vehicle to find a hole steadily dripping oil (dripping again within a minute or two of wiping clean with paper towel.) I called the dealership and they asked for me to email them photos of the leak and they would call me back immediately after checking out the photos. I never received a call back and then they specifically stopped answering calls from my direct number altogether. I called from a different cell phone number and they answered immediately... When I told them who I was, they say, "Sorry, the manager is in a meeting right now and we are not allowed to give you his cell phone number. Can I take a message?" I find the manager's cell phone number on a previous email I had from him; he answered on the first ring and confirmed that he was NOT in a meeting at all and not sure why the front desk had told me this. He says, "But can I call you back in 10 minutes after I get back to my desk and checkout your paperwork?" HE NEVER CALLS BACK AND AGAIN, AVOIDING DIRECT CALLS FROM MY NUMBER WHEN I TRY TO CALL BACK. I had my mother call up and he answered immediately again so I know they have caller ID and have my cell number somehow marked as "Do Not Answer" at this point. Here I was trying to get my fiance a newer, more reliable car at almost $10,000, but it is now undriveable after 3 weeks and the dealership refuses to do anything about it. On top of the huge, leaking hole, there is NO WAY the rotors on this vehicle passed VA inspection (photos attached of rotors with deep grooves). They even refuse to give me the name of the "3rd Party" shop who performed the inspection so I can call and research myself. We also had issues with the aftermarket stereo during the first test drive in which they said they would absolutely look at free of charge if we continue having issues. The stereo is now completely stuck on an Error screen which will not allow me to do anything to it and they won't even help with this verbal promise that they made. This is a very shady dealership that is not even attempting to help with the $9000 car they sold with a hole in the bottom of the engine.... PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF AND LEFT WITH A JUNKER VEHICLE WITHIN WEEKS OF LEAVING THEIR LOT! read more

DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS JUNK YARD! I bought the vehicle and took it to the Toyota dealer to get inspected. The frame had severe damage and they welded plates over the rust and covered it up with undercoating! Rear main seals in the motor were leaking, shocks blown out, they replaced the brakes and used copper brake lines ( not legal ), zip tied brake lines to frame, all 4 tires did not pass, power steering lines leaking, coolant leak, oil pressure sensor leak, upper and lower control arms, and the list goes on! Also the warranty they sell you is also complete SHIT! Stay away from this place. To get this vehicle through an inspection will cost over 20,000 dollars! Not sure how they got it to pass a VA inspection, but I will be calling Va Dot to let them know what is going on there. Also if you just bought a lemon from them, call a lawyer, know your rights. Document all conversations and interactions with them. return the car ASAP! Call the bank and tell them what they did to you, cause them as much hell as they caused you. I found this dealership to be pleasant and helpful, without any high pressure. Their prices were very competitive. We took the car out for a test drive, and they were more than happy to let us take the car off site another day to have it inspected by our mechanic. In addition, I'd forgotten to make sure the convertible top worked when I was there, and the sales person took digital pics and sent them to me right away. The sale was also a little complicated financially, and they made sure that all went smoothly. I would add that they say "no haggle" and mean it, so don't expect them to come down in price. One of the electronic car keys didn't work and the car needs some minor maintenance, and when I tried to use this to get the price down the sales person stood firm on the "car is sold as is." Fair enough. If you don't know a lot about cars, I'd suggest taking it to a mechanic before you buy or getting a warranty. The price was low enough that it still was a good deal even with what we know we'll have to put into it in the next couple of months. We went there for a specific car we'd found on cars.com, and I'd go back to them for another used car in the future. That's about the best you can ask, for a used car dealership! read more

I wouldn't wish this dealership on my worst enemy. 2012 Audi a4, Car broke on the home from the dealer. Brought it back twice for repairs for the same issue both times the car broke again on my way home. Inexperienced mechanics working on cars and shady dealings, promises not kept, and poor communication. Needless to say I will be taking the car to a licensed mechanic as I asked them to do multiple times with no avail. Highly doubtful they will be covering the bill when I send it to them even though they are liable under the warranty. I would rate it half star but it's not an option. Only positive thing I will say about them is the sales man I worked with was very polite but he should go for work for a better company. Update: after 4 months the car was finally fixed, after threatening to sue the dealer paid the 50 percent as per our warranty agreement. However I was still not happy since I had to take way to many actions upon myself in order recieve payment. read more

My Dad and I put a deposit on a 2015 Shakir Orange F80 M3 and after driving 5 hours to do the final in person inspection we found that the entire front end of the car had been resprayed along with other parts of the car. They claimed they had no wiggle room on the price even though demanding over the NADA value for the car and had paid bottom dollar for it from CARMAX. They kept the deposit we drove home. Spoke with him multiple times over a 2 week period to confirm condition of the car before I made the commitment for a 5 hour drive to pick up the car. I arrive to find a good sized dent on the upper rear quarter panel, easily visible for Pedro to have told me about it. The underside of the engine was absolutely covered in fresh oil. Pedro wouldn't budge off the price and kept saying it's a used car. It's a used car that Pedro lied about or didn't care enough to inspect for a buyer coming from far away, even after pleading with him to tell me everything. A quick peek under the car would've revealed the massive oil leak and the dent was easily visible. Don't trust a word this guy says, I walked away and you should too. read more

I'm here to say that Maximum Auto Outlet sold me a lemon, it just took about a month or so for the problems to show themselves. Yesterday my intake manifold (a part on the engine) blew off which is causing thousands of dollars to fix. I am considering just getting rid of the car since the cost of the repair is mounting to approximately 25% of what I bought the vehicle (09 Audi A4) for. The right passenger door also refuses to lock or open. While I'm here editing this review, I'll go on and add that a few of the others cars I test drove when originally buying the vehicle seemed to have masked problems also. One of the vehicles advertised online (think it was an 06 BMW 300 series) was marketed as accident-free but the CarFax report showed it had been in an accident.
