I ordered a Princess peach costume for a convention coming up in March, however I needed to get an XL size. when the dress got here, it was at least 9 feet long in the skirt, you would have to be over 7feet tall to wear it normally- which I am not. I am a very tiny person, standing at 5ft2, so the dress completely swallowed me. I was obviously distraught, but my mom suggested looking to get it tailored, and we ended up finding Stefanovic! we brought it in just one week before the convention, and we weren't sure if we would be able to get it in time. but they were absolutely incredible, and were able to shorten it in just 4 days!! We are new to Vegas, coming from a a major city where the best tailor was on our own block! Slobo and his wife will treat you with respect and try to meet an important deadline. Three suits for my husband (who said: do 8 really have to drive 20 mins to a tailor? Yeah ya do!) were done in 10 days, and they now appear custom. This is fine European tailoring at over 50% less than we paid in a huge city. The sweetest couple and the absolute best place to go for alterations. I decided to get my dress altered less than a month before my wedding. Not only did they get me in and altered in just a few weeks, she also had me back for a fitting and made additional adjustments at no extra cost that will make my dress perfect. Basically the dress was good for the ceremony, but the bustle quickly broke and I had to take it off before my first dances. That, and also I had to come in a total of 6 times for my alteration, and she delayed it in the end two days before my wedding and caused stress. I paid more than the cost of my dress for these alterations, so I expected more than this. I asked for a refund of just the bustle portion after the fact, and they refused - making excuses for why the bustle broke. They did fix the bustle after the fact, but they can never bring back my wedding dances. Overall, a quite stressful and expensive wedding dress alteration experience. read more

What a great tailoring find! I paid hundreds of dollars in Florence, Italy for these leather slacks. Unfortunately, I didn't sit down in them, before I bought them. When seated they would slip down my butt! They needed to have a higher, flexible waist. In addition, the original lining was so thin, it was ripping. Boutique Stefanovic not only came up with a solution to increase the height of the waist & add a Velcro closure, they also re-lined the entire item. I usually rely on Master Tailor Stefanovic (MTS) for my alterations, and they always deserve a five-star review. However, I recently made the mistake of using a Men's chain store (MW) for altering a few pairs of pants. What a disaster! The pants appeared to be completely ruined, and the chain store refused to fix their shoddy work. I thought the pants were beyond repair, but Dobrina at MTS worked her "magic" and saved me from having to buy new ones. Don't waste your time with chain stores--MTS gets it right the first time at a fair price. They are the best tailor shop in town! read more

He became very rude and said that he "hopes someone will be able to alter my dress", then he proceeded to tell me that he had a client that paid $38,000 for their dress as if that would make me change my mind. I have been seeing Dobrina for almost two decades now, and she is the only reason I would ever get a yelp account: to share with everyone else how amazing she is at her job. Selfishly I would like to keep her a secret, as she truly works magic. She is extremely quick and reliable, and can fix certain issues that other tailors might deem impossible. I once had a gown that was covered in probably over 2,000 rhinestones, with about 20 rhinestones sewn in per string. It was a dress that I was told by the seller could not be altered, and that the maker warned against. Dobrina had it fitting me perfectly within a week. They are also extraordinarily kind, and their goal is to make you feel your most beautiful. The photos attached are my most difficult gown to alter (gold), and the most recent one I had altered (black). The black sequin gown she had ready for me in a matter of days as it came in so late, and my event was that week. Dobrina even had it ready over a day before it was set to be ready. When I politely said no thank you, the owner ripped the dress out of my hands, yelled at me, and washed off the chalked hemline because he said he didn't want me "stealing his work." Unbelievable. These wonderful people know exactly what they are doing. I had a bridesmaid dress that I thought was too small for me in the chest, despite it being a larger size than what I normally wear. I went to several tailors who told me it was not able to be fixed because I didn't need it shortened on the bottom so they wouldn't have the material to add. Thank god I finally found this place! I told her I had a challenging dress that was too small in the bust and needed fabric to be added even though I didn't need it shortened. She said she could always take out fabric vertically because my dress has enough flow that it would not change the look. I was immediately impressed, none of the other alterations places even considered that! We didn't end up needing that, however, because when I tried it on it turned out that the dress wasn't too small at all! In fact, she ended up taking OUT fabric to make it fit better around my chest. She said I would have had the same "popping open" issue even if I had a larger size because the cut of my dress was wrong. She said she would take out some fabric and add a hook and it would be perfect. I picked it up a few days before my flight out, but ended up not trying it on until Sunday. The fit was fine but it had a snap instead of a hook and didn't stay shut the way I wanted. This threw me into an absolute panic because I knew I should have tried it on when I picked it up. They asked me to try it on, but I was in a hurry and didn't. I was kicking myself because the Monday after, when they opened again, was the day before my flight. I went in right at opening thinking they thinking wouldn't have time to fix it, but they made time! They were very nice about it. She switched the snap for a hook in less than ten minutes and it was perfect!! I like them even more after this, because it was so apparent that they would have done whatever was necesaary to fix it before my flight. They are amazingly skilled tailors with customer service that exceeds expectation at each turn. Also, the price was incredibly fair! I hope they are in business at this location for the rest of my life because I'll never go to another tailor again. I'll post pics of the dress from the wedding once I have them. :) read more

I have been looking for a tailor for years and one that I could trust with my clothes. I am picky about my clothes because I used to make my own, my children's, for others, home items like quilts, curtains, and so on, and so on, and I have been disappointed by the substandard work of others. So, I was nervous when I went to pick up my two coats, one for repair and the second for a significant custom alteration of a man's size medium to a women's size small puffer jacket. But I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the quality of workmanship; the fit of the puffer was perfect and fit as promised, and the repair of my other coat was professional. The threadwork inside the puffer jacket is a beautiful thing to behold. Slobo and Dobrina are a pleasure to work with and are detail-oriented about their work, as I am about what I want from the fit of my clothes.
