Mery is super sweet! She's professional, works quickly and my pants came out PERFECT. I had a pair of faux leather pants I needed done for an event and she got them done in just 2 days. It needed to be taken in, a taper, and a hem. These pants were way bigger than I thought when I bought them -- the waist fit already but the super oversized fit in this material was not what I was going for. She completely understood the look I wanted, she kept the style but tailored them perfectly. I'm not going to lie, the service was a bit pricey, but I felt as though the way they were done was perfect. You wouldn't even know it wasn't the original look. I wish I did a before and after pic! It seemed pricy, but upon receiving my pants, it was money well spent, as she also added elastic so the pants would have some give, probably to allow for weight fluctuations? Not sure at all, but I like her work. She told me when the pants would be ready, and said if they'd be ready early, they'd call. I went the day after xmas for pickup, but no one was there. My pickup was scheduled for xmas so I don't think it was far fetched to think they'd be open the 26th. 4 stars only because the phone is not in service. When I called for a quote there was an error msg. Then when I called in the 26th to see if they'd open, same error msg. Overall, I will trust her with more alterations. read more

I typically do not get my clothes tailored so I was overwhelmed trying to figure out which shop to go to in my area. This shop had great reviews and when I called the customer service was good, but you can tell she was busy-which I thought was a good sign. Upon arrival I didn't know what to ask for, I just knew how I wanted my clothes to fit. It was if she was a mind reader and quickly pinned my clothing and made additional suggestions that were solid! Back in mid-January, I took 3 pairs of jeans to Mery to be hemmed. I needed them back ASAP as I was leaving on a trip, so she charged me $51 for the rush job. I picked them up in a hurry on January 18th, but did not try them on until I got home. Big mistake. The hem job looked great, but all three pairs were about 1.5" too long. I called Mery to let her know that the hem was wrong and that I'd be bringing the jeans back to get them fixed after I returned from my trip. She agreed to fix them. I returned to the shop in mid-February with the jeans to have them fixed. Mery remembered me, had me try on the jeans, and marked where the new hems should be. She never said anything about charging me, which I thought was good business. I paid a lot for the original hem job and I was under the impression that she was going to make it right. I told her that I had a lot of business travel coming up, so there was no rush on the jeans and I would be back to get them in a few weeks. I returned today, March 13th, about four weeks after I dropped them off to be fixed. When I told Mery I was there to pick up the jeans, she realized she completely forgot to fix them! Yep. She had them for four weeks and didn't touch them. I kept my cool and thought she would be apologetic, but instead she came at me with, "You approved the original length, so you need to pay for the new hem." WHAT?!?! I called her right after I got home the first time and tried them on to tell her they were too long! I never approved anything. I was not prepared for her response, and actually was pretty shocked. I told her I'm not paying full price for the re-hem. She told me $30. I said I'd give her $20. She said OK. I walked out to my car and realized how ridiculous it was that I was about to spend a total of $71 to hem three pairs of jeans. So I walked back in and took my jeans back. Mery, I appreciate you completing the original rush job, but your measurements were off and then you tried to blame me for it! You "forgot" to fix my jeans for FOUR weeks, then tried to charge me to finally do the work that you messed up in the first place! You've got to be kidding me!! A good business owner would have admitted their mistakes and taken the appropriate actions to instill customer satisfaction. Instead, you tried to nickel-and-dime me and you've angered me so much that I'm on Yelp! writing this review. You lost a customer today!! read more

I found Rashin's shop when I was looking for a tailor to help me with the sewing part of a project - building a daybed for my daughter! However, this bed was built to fit an unusual space, and in an unusual shape! Rashin helped sew a custom mattress cover...for the custom mattress and custom bedframe. We brought her the materials: the fabric we had chosen and roughly cut to size, piping for the edges of the mattress cover, and a long zipper. It turned out beautifully, the price was fair, and the work completed on time. Rashin was also very good at communicating, I really liked that I was able to text message her pictures during the planning phase. I don't know when we'll do such a project again, but we'll definitely give her a call, thank you very much! read more
