DONT GO HERE IT IS AWFUL. Lady barely greeted us when coming in, no smile no hello, nothing. They barely had any ice cream. Didn't really feel welcome in the store but when some other Indian people came in she was all smiles and happy and greeting those customers. Not to mention she also over charged us for a small ice cream. It says on the board that a small ice cream is $6.99 (which is insane as is) but it also says that it includes a waffle cup/cone and mix ins in that price but at the register she charged me $12.09. Our experience was terrible. I went with of my friends and when we got there the place was not that clean the tables were light so if we would touch it, it would shake and so would the chairs. And the floor was really dirty. The man who took our order was rude. He would not change his gloves and he also was wearing no hair net. He was also wearing flip flops! He gave us 1 napkin, 1! For 4 people! I got the Fudge brownie delight with Oreos, and it did not look as advertised. The ice cream was good but the brownie was not. Also the experience which was shown on social media where they would crush the ice cream was not given to us. Also the price was outrageous! 9 DOLLARS! FOR 1 ICE CREAM. Wow...... we wandered into this place after a nearby dinner, but I wish I had checked the reviews first! We found a little bit of everything folks have commented on. Overall, the store was dingy with dirty ice cream freezers. The place was poorly lit. The server at the counter (the owner maybe?) was not friendly at all. The toppings were old and stale, the server didn't clean the slab between orders, the ice cream was near melting temperature, and there were no napkins available. When I went into the restroom to maybe get a paper towel in lieu of a napkin, I found the soap dispenser empty and bugs on the floor. The previous reviewer who said he installed TV screens and didn't get paid.....those boxes were still sitting in the dining room from four days ago. Extremely disappointing experience. The ice cream and strawberries were just thrown into a cup without proper preparation. For an order of five, we were given only one napkin. I don't know what to say except this place sucks! We have lived in the area for years and used to occasionally get ice cream here. Flash forward we have a granddaughter now and she was staying with us and we took her here for a treat. When we walked in the place looked like it was on its last leg of business. Dirty, slim pickings for ice cream, rude man at the counter, and just awful. Unfortunately, we did order some scoops. He could barely get the last of the barrel of each flavor we ordered out with the scoop. On top of that, he charged us out the arse! If this is a franchise it should be taken away from these folks. Been here more than 4 times already and we never had an issue with the staff or ice cream. Our favorite is the sweet cream plain, but today we decided to spice it up with some toppings. Well..... We failed to look at the reviews before going in and ordering because marble slabs are usually good places. However, after we were sitting down and looking around at the filth, we thought we should have a look. To our, well not surprise, we saw the ratings were pretty bad. Let me tell you why my rating will follow suit. First, the prices are already expensive, but for what you get, the price hurts even more. When you ask for a waffle bowl and you get a little waffle "plate" that literally sits on top of the cup, the price has an extra sting. Plus, the waffle plate tasted stale. Next, the lady that took my order, did help me, however she was unfriendly and appeared annoyed when I wanted to add toppings to the ice cream. Isn't that why we go to a marble slab (to make your own creation)? When adding the toppings, she seemed to give the minimal amount allowed. For example, most places like this.... when you ask for peanut butter, they get a fresh spoon, scoop out a heaping spoonful or two and then hand you the spoon to lick the rest. Not this place. The spoon was inside the peanut butter container and it was a small teaspoon of peanut butter added. Nothing more. Then the spoon went back into the peanut butter jar. It didn't feel very sanitary to me. I also didn't like that her hair was not pulled back. When you are putting your head into ice cream freezers to scoop ice cream, your hair should most definitely be pulled back. The ice cream was very melty and like I previously said, the waffle plate was stale. Now on to the cleanliness of the facility...what do I say except ick. The floor was sticky and gross, obviously being mopped by dirty water. The trash can was disgusting, obviously never getting washed down. All the tables did not appear clean. Had I noticed this upon entering I would have saved my $12 and went somewhere else, but my excitement for some ice cream didn't allow me to see it I guess. This place NEEDS to shut down for a couple of days and deep clean and do customer service training. That is all. read more

Hello Health Department? I'm writing this out of a sense of responsibility to my fellow ice cream goers and their health. This place was downright filthy. It is safe to state that the floors, walls, bathrooms, display cases and prep areas haven't been cleaned in months...and that's what I was able to see from the customer side of the counter. The toppings looked old and their containers have never been washed as indicated by the 'film' covering them. The ice cream was iced over. Also, only half of the lights were on so you didn't know if they were open or not at 1:00pm. Let's assume that the young lady behind the counter was a trainee but the ice cream prep and presentation was bad. A manager came out at first but then disappeared to the back. Some guy came in with a bag of banans from Kroger, plopped them on the counter and walked out. There were hardly any toppings mixed in and the ice cream was flavorless which indicates that it's not fresh. I think the 'marble slab' was room temp because it had literally melted by the time she served it to me in a cup. The same for my wifes which she didn't finish. We almost walked out because of the dirtiness and in hindsight we should have. Sorry to be that guy but this place was disgusting and it wasn't just a 'bad day' for them as evidenced by the obvious neglect. read more

Horrible service. Their free add ins were a joke. You got about 5 pieces of whatever you added in. We ordered a sundae and you could count the number of nuts in it and the hot fudge sauce was put on top of the whip cream so it was cold. We have stopped by here a few times this year and it's always been good. It's a small shop in a strip mall, but it does the job. The people working have always been very nice. It can take some time to get your order made because it can get busy quickly. They have great flavors that you can mix with cookies, gummy bears and other treats. The waffle cones are delicious and can hold a lot. My only message to the good people of Marble Slab, is to have more than one employee working at the end of the day. I'm sure it's a challenge to have enough people working, but you should have at least 2 employees at the end of the day to keep things flowing instead of slowing down with just 1 employee. read more

Beware of this place. It is absolutely filthy from the outside to the inside. The windows are so dirty when every other business in this shopping center has clean windows. It looks like they have not cleaned the windows in years. And then you step inside and it is exactly the same. The floors, the ice cream freezer everything is completely filthy. The guy who served us seemed like he had never done the job before, although I think he is probably the owner of the business. Our ice cream cups were barely full when he was done doing our mix ins so he scooped a little extra ice cream with no mix on top to make up for it. You think he would know the proper amount to fill up a cup by the time you're done with the mixins. I'm surprised this place has not been shut down yet for its cleanliness, but do yourself a favor and visit other locations. This is possibly the dirtiest food establishment I've been to years.
