    Empanadas and sauces!
    Erin K.

Get the Almond and the mushroom empanadas!! The chaya is delicious as well! They are all SO GOOD! Service was speedy and the shop is quaint and cute. Perfect treat after a long day of hiking or a nice pocket size treat for the top of the mountain. We got a whole box and had a picnic on the CSU mall. Wish I could go back every week, but sadly i live in AZ.

They have a huge selection of empanadas. Everything from vegetarian or carne filled & sweet delicious delights. The empanadas are made fresh each day with real ingredients and paired with special sauces. My favorite is the Blackberry, Lavender sweet empanada. It is so smooth, just the right amount of sweetness with the mellow flavor of blackberries and lavender. They will become your addiction.

I so look forward to coming here every time I'm in Fort Collins! My favorite empanada is the Ham & Cheese. They're tasty, well made, super cheesy, always fresh and super aesthetic. This time I got the hame and cheese (duh), kale, and the special chili relleno. My phone did not eat first, but I got a few pics of the kale. Service is always quick. Angel knows his stuff and can answer any questions and gives great recommendations. Thanks!!

Finding My Empanadas can be confusing but it's 100% worth it once you get there! We went there today for the first time because I saw on Facebook that they had a Cuitlacoche (corn mushroom) special and I've always wanted to try Cuitlacoche. Unfortunately, they were sold out but we still got some delicious food! My spouse got the Cochinita Pibil (Mayan red pork) with pink habanero sauce. I got the mushroom with hot tomato sauce. Neither sauce was too hot for me on the empanadas (I am a spice wimp) which surprised me. And we got a peach empanada to share. They kindly offered to warm them up for us. I also got a horchata (not pictured) and my spouse got a bottled Coke. It was SO good! Excellent car food, too. We definitely hope to go back soon.

Our only problem with this place is that we couldn't stop eating them! The crust is so tasty they could literally serve them empty and they would still be delicious! We had chicken, pork, chocolate espresso, lemon curd, coconut, chocolate raspberry. I'd still be there ordering more if my wife didn't drag me out if their modest store front. But don't let the look of the place deter you!

Have been eyeing this place. So many empanadas so little time Got couple savory ones the beef and chi mole Chicken it comes with little sauce. It's half cook so anyone can bake it at home which I did, I also have one almond empanadas - almost like dessert. The pastry crust are sooo good. All three comes like 17 dollars and change including tax. Not bad !

I have been in love with this place since 2020, it's a must-stop for me every time I'm in Fort Collins. Recent highlights for me include: the mozzarella, the pork, the espresso creme, the jalapeno 'burger' special one; but they're all so good that you have to switch up what you get each time! And I think the Campus West location is a much better fit than when they were east of campus. Our last time there, the man behind the counter was so nice. 10/10

Delicious empanadas. My stomach is growling in memory of these.

I visited My Empanadas on a whim in January 2022 while in town for a wedding. You might notice that I am writing this review seven months after my first and only visit to My Empanadas. That is because I remember this spectacular food vividly. I dream of these empanadas. I am writing this review because I just checked the website yet again to see if there is an option to ship to Ohio. Unfortunately there is not. If you are lucky enough to be near this restaurant, please stop in and eat a few empanadas for me. You won't regret it. Everything is amazing, but I wake up salivating when I dream of those salted toffee empanadas. What a disaster that I am living over a thousand miles away. If anyone who works at My Empanadas is willing to ship some for me, let me know. I'll pay.

Wow! My Empanadas blew expectations out of the water. I highly recommend! It was my first time stopping into My Empanadas and definitely will not be my last. The girl working there was so inviting and very patient with us as we looked at all the offerings. While we were deciding, our mouths were watering as the smell of fresh empanadas filled the air. We ended up getting 10 different flavors to-go. Once you hit 10 empanadas there is a small discount! The empanadas were VERY nicely packaged. Came with instructions on how to heat them at home (or freeze them). The sauces were also all labeled so you knew exactly which sauce went with each empanada. The empanadas themselves were also marked in the dough which was which. After about 10 minutes in the oven, they came out perfect! Two empanadas easily filled up my very hungry stomach. There is a generous portion of filling in each empanada. However, we also got some dessert ones so I squeezed in 1/2 of a dessert empanada too. The Chimole Chicken and Steak flavors were our favorite of the savory flavors and we enjoyed the chocolate custard one most from the sweet selection. With that said, there weren't any flavors that we didn't enjoy! The downside was it wasn't the easiest to find, but well worth driving back around to get to. Plenty of parking in the lot.

I consider myself a Mexican food connoisseur, and frankly resent that I'm writing such a glowing…read morereview for a restaurant so far from Mexico. But this was genuinely some of the best Mexican-inspired food of my LIFE! As a vegetarian, Mexican food tends to be hit or miss when it comes to creative meat substitutes. Blue Agave chose fried avocado tacos as its offering, and WOW. They were truly amazing. Life changing. Well spiced, the right amount of filling in each taco, and the avocado itself was perfectly ripe and fried well without much residual grease. Not only that, but the side beans and rice were incredible. The portions were generous and spiced magically- I could eat just the beans and rice as a dish on its own. I was also astounded by how the grilled corn sauce was thick and saucy, but tasted EXACTLY like elote- some kind of culinary magic. This place may be slightly pricier, but the food portions are large and I cleaned my plate and left feeling stuffed. My companions couldn't finish their beans and rice, and if I didn't think I was going to explode I would have cleaned their plates, too. I'm glad I don't live in FoCo or else I would go broke eating here. I cannot recommend it enough, especially those avocado tacos. I will be dreaming of them for years. The restaurant was a little jammed when I visited and some might find the atmosphere overwhelming, but I would say it's absolutely worth it. Seriously, if you're going to one place in FoCo, go here.

I think it took 45 mins from the time we ordered until the time we got our food, dessert was *slightly* better at about 30 mins. I think we were there for almost two hours, if not more because of the long waits. There were PLENTY of empty tables, so it wasn't packed, but still took forever. For the foods: Coconut shrimp tacos- good but the tortilla wasn't cooked and fell apart and the habanero creama will absolutely throat punch you if you were not expecting it Chicken teriyaki- good flavor, the Brussels sprouts were the best part of the dish. Shrimp skewers-just ok. Braised short rib enchiladas-hubby thought these were amazing, huge chunks of tender short rib that melts in your mouth. It was really good. Tres Chocolate Brownie-Underwhelming at best, feel free to skip this. The blondie- DELICIOUS. Get this one. Served warm, and has that kind of brownie gooey center. It's perfect. Would come back for more if I lived here.

The classic plain glazed donut was fluffy and airy inside and lightly glazed on top- perfect. The glazed French Crueller was slightly wet inside and crispy outside- prob won't get again as I prefer the fluffiness of the classic donut. The sour cream fashioned I saved for last because it's my go-to donut. Honestly, it let me down. Yes, it was crispy with lots of crusty surface area and had a dense inside. But it had too much surface area that held on to too much glaze, making it overall way too sweet for me. I will be back to get more plain glazed and maybe try the twisted two-toned.
