I came here with a friend on Saturday for Memorial Day weekend. Man it was packed, and they only had two servers!! Both servers were SO friendly and did such a good job despite being understaffed. Our server had a purple shirt who had the most amazing attitude and was so friendly! The food was great! The small Caesar salad could've easily passed for a large. Well worth the $9. Nice homade croutons and I loved the big chunks of Parmesan. The spinach artichoke dip was SO good!! Bread was toasted perfectly. However some of the Chips were so salty and inedible The wildcat burger was perfectly spicy, not too much spice at all! So well balanced. Just what we needed. So much seating inside or out! Bring a crowd! The seating outside is mostly shaded so don't let the heat deter you from enjoying the summer weather. I drank a mango peach cider that was a perfect blend of fruit and slightly sweet. An oriental chicken salad was $19.00 and portion large enough to share. A chicken sandwich was also $19.00 plus $2.00 for sweet potato fries. The fry sauce was ketchup and mayo, I'd skip it. It wasn't busy for a Thursday afternoon so no waiting. Like the space here. Near some wineries. Service is good. I went inside for just a brief moment and was told right away I couldn't bring my dog in. I said I just wanted to see how it worked. Man they're strict about dogs here in Oregon. I thought there were more tree hugging granola eating people here in Oregon. I understand there is a state law about not having dogs inside where you serve food. The sign was a bit off putting given we were sitting outside. We stopped by on a busy Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere is the same: large, clean, airy with lots of seating. Service was swift and kind; however, we had to wait about 30-40 min for our food. HOWEVER, the Reuben sandwich was absolutely worth the wait--plentiful, moist, and savory. I decided to sub a salad for the fries, which may have been a mistake. The salad had a lot of brown and yellow lettuce leaves. Management should really check the quality of produce before serving it to customers. The salad was large as well, but the brown lettuce threw me off. So, skip the salad and get the fries or sweet potato fries. read more

They claim to be handicapped accessible but believe me , it's an outright bloody lie. We went on Valentine's Day (2026), with me in my wheelchair, and waited over half an hour. Those ahead of us were seated and those who came after were seated. The hostess was polite enough but never bothered to tell us that they could seat us, so we simply left. Eventually I will heal well enough to get out of that wheelchair, but I will NEVER EVER go back there again. I'm also asking my friends to boycott the place as well. read more

We came in on Valentine's Day expecting a nice dinner and left completely disappointed. We ordered two steak dinners and a chicken fried steak, and almost the entire meal arrived lukewarm to cold. The chicken fried steak and gravy were barely warm, the "double" fries were cold and tasted like they'd been sitting or scraped from the end of the batch, and overall the food quality was far below what you'd expect for the price -- especially on a holiday. Our asparagus was cold, barely sautéed, and completely underseasoned. The only halfway decent part of the meal was the steak, but even that had an excessive amount of fat and didn't justify the cost. What's unacceptable is waiting over 30 minutes for food that still comes out cold. Being busy isn't an excuse -- if anything, quality control should be tighter on high-volume nights. This visit honestly felt like overpriced bar food being passed off as a special-occasion dinner. Compared to previous visits, the quality has clearly gone downhill. We left feeling like we wasted money on a meal that wasn't worth it. Unfortunately, we won't be back, and I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for a quality dining experience -- especially for something like Valentine's Day. read more

This place was recommended to me by a local chef and it over delivered. The Caesar salad (in lieu of fries) was yummy, but the cheddar cheeseburger was perfectly cooked, oversized, and so delicious. Service was terrific too. The outdoor area is made up of wooden picnic tables under canopies, but it all works and must be a great environment when they showcase live music. Decent vibes on a sunny day. They have great outdoor seating which makes enjoying the sunshine all that much better. We did come with a really large party of 20+ people, which I'm sure is challenging, but they're not too flexible with moving those outdoor tables. And there was only 1 server for all 3 tables, which again I'm sure is challenging when there are that many orders. The food was decent. I had their teriyaki burger with sweet potato fries which was good. Always enjoy the tartness of the pineapple! However my wife ordered the large Caesar salad; which I was a little disappointed by as it was smaller than I would've anticipated for a "large" salad. And one of my friends ordered the chicken strips; which were ok but really did feel like ordinary store bought frozen chicken strips. read more

We enjoyed our visit to Grain Station on Saturday. The atmosphere was great, and the food was good. I would love to come back again to try their stout beer, and to maybe get a different entree than what I ordered this time. Because I had just had deep fried food for lunch, I decided to give their Margherita Pizza a try. While the pizza was good, I found it to be a little odd -- there was no tomato sauce in center of the pie, just cheese and a few diced tomatoes. Then on the outer edges, there was tomato sauces. The crust was flavorful, but a little on the doughy side for my taste -- and cooked a little pale. I'd probably ask for it to be cooked "well done" next time to get more crisp on it. Everyone else enjoyed their food, and I was able to try my wife's French fries, and they were very good. I'd probably get a burger & fries, or fish & chips, on my next visit. Our service was very good, although our server did try to upsell whenever possible; but you really can't blame them for that. After all, the best we to increase tips is to make the bill as big as possible, and selling apps, drinks, and desserts will get you there. I can't mark them down for doing their job. Visited twice. Like so often, first visit better then second. Fish and chips and BBQ bourbon burgers were excellent as were the beers and server. Second time we tried crispy chicken sandwiches but sub par chicken wraps with incinerated fries came out. Easy to access location, great parking, outdoor seating for those months when Oregon's weather accommodates outdoor seating. The casual and inviting atmosphere seems to draw lots of folks looking for a break from their Winery visits. The menu is creative artisanal pub with great appetizers, classic sandwiches, excellent Pizzas gourmet burgers, and big fresh salads. From their great Stout to their ales, their craft beer selection is excellent. My personal favorites are their Rueben, The Works Pizza, their House Salad and a Sunny summer afternoon! I visited Grain Station Brew Works twice during my weekend trip to visit Grandma. I chose to sit at the bar so I didn't take up a whole table. Best choice of my visit. Each of the bartenders and staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious and the beer is world class. I had the Lupo Krush both days. Delicious! The buffalo wings and coconut shrimp were great to snack on. The pepperoni pizza to go was a smart choice that paid off the next day as well. Not pictured - the white chocolate blueberry cheesecake. YUMMMM!!! They seem to have a beautiful outdoor seating area as well as a stage for live music. The inside is very spacious with extremely clean restrooms. They have an all gender restroom and larger restrooms for males and females. I will return next time I am in town for all of the reasons listed above. Let's just get right to it. Service was ignoring and lackadaisical at best. Seated quickly because it's so big and the only one paying attention was the hostess. It took a long time just to get water. We were never asked about refills. Food was less than expected. Great descriptions with poor execution. Cool ranch wrap with the fire hot spice sauce making it inedible. Fries that were less than cooked. A sandwich with a roll that just fell apart. Hardly ever do I leave food without taking leftovers in this case I would have just been taking it home to throw it out. The place was less than filled on a particular day of good weather. I guess a testament to the food. They have tiny TVs everywhere which makes it hard to follow along whatever it is you are being shown. Probably why very little were paying attention. My sister in laws and I stopped by here on our way back from picking up fudge from the dear Brigittine Monks in Amity. I had a delicious Turkey Ruben on marbled rye. It had just the right amount of cheese, kraut and dressing and was piping hot. The turkey was smokey and just right for the sandwich as well. It typically comes with the traditional corned beef but I substituted turkey as a matter of personal preference. They happily made the switch. I also opted for tater tots as my side since it's the holidays - they were crispy and hot as well. I think if the review had been based just on my meal it would have been a 5 but I also wanted to comment on my sister in laws pear and Gorgonzola salad. Sadly though she enjoyed it, the greens were not as fresh as they could have been and she didn't care for the pear which was slightly browned with age. Sorry but I don't recall what else was served to the table. None of us Had beverages except water, but they had a good selection of beer. The service was timely and very friendly. They had no issues with 3 separate checks, so they made it all very easy. The ambiance is fun and we're thinking we'll head back next time we're in the area. read more

Later, someone came by and got us another round. Beers were good, they have a well-rounded menu. They also have a full bar, it that's your thing. We landed on the Grain Station on a Wednesday I was thinking a good burger would hit the spot after driving from northern Washington and I was not disappointed. I settled on the Wildcat burger. Pepper Jack cheese, red peppers, onions, and jalapeños on two nicely seasoned patties. I asked for a double burger for an up charge. Normally comes singled up. The Bride had a patty melt which looked like a good one. The service was prompt despite the lunch crowd. They say us at a high table out of the main room but we did not suffer for service tucked away. They do a good job here and I would opine on the beer selection if I drank beer. Visited this location while traveling. It was very easy to walk to from our air bnb downtown. We did not have to wait to get a table for our large group, and the place was very kid friendly. It was loud but there were a lot of families there so it was all background noise and was okay. We sat outside, there was lights set up and nice light music playing, it was totally a vibe. Food(2/5): I had the Wildcat burger with fries. The fries were soggy and tasted like they had been sitting frozen in a bag. They were nasty. The burger was the most basic, average, burger I've ever had. The patty was so over cooked it was dry, weird texture, just nasty. The smoked Mac n Cheese was also gross. When you first try it it has a bacon flavor, then a clam chowder flavor, finished with a bitter aftertaste. The dish looked old and like it was microwaved. The cheese wasn't melted or creamy, it was chunky. All of the dishes we had that night were very badly cooked and nothing was fresh. And they were OVERPRICED. I paid $14.50 for the burger. Highly disappointed. Service(2/5): Were seated right away, provided waters, and then we didn't see our waiter for the next 25 minutes. She completely forgot about us, maybe came to us three or four times in the course of us being there. When she did finally come, all we wanted was our food. Waited another 25 minutes for our food to come, and then what? The food was nasty. Waited another who knows how long until she came again to give us our checks. Chicken Fried Steak - Excellent and I'm not a fan of brown gravy usually but it was SO good and filling. Fish and Chips - Really crunchy, not greasy and flavorful. 3 pieces were very filling. Tucked away off the beaten path. This is a fairly large size brewery. Lots of local and signature beers. We sat at a seat right next to the roll up door. Gave us the outdoor feel with inside cover. It was a little chilly on our visit, we'd sit a at from the outdoors, if we had it to do over again. Or at least wait for a more sunny less breezy day. The food was great. We ordered a French dip, this was a Smokey tasting sandwich with cheese and grilled onions. Even the au jus had a smokey flavor to it. We also ordered a southwest chicken salad! I ordered the French dip and the shrimp tacos and was severely disappointed. Their specials board has some great options although I ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich which is always on the menu. It was delicious but pretty messy so, with shame, I ate it with a fork lol. The fries were also pretty amazing and they have their own fry sauce which was good. They have lots of good options for drinks, their raspberry limeade cider amazing. Sad state of affairs when all these small businesses are relying on takeout. This one has an awesome repurposed warehouse feel and great outdoor seating all of which looks well spaced and completely within covid guidelines as is. My wife and I picked up our daughter from college to hear back to Portland and she recommended based on good food and prices within her budget (we bought!). I was leery of take out, as some places have a more difficult time with it. Not this one.. I had a pear walnut salad that was fresh and full of flavor. The pears were julienned and the walnuts lightly candied. The dressing was amazing, no idea what was in it but full of perfectly matched flavor. Fish and chips were also very good, solid well cooked chunks of cod coated with a dense panko crust. Almost like a scotch egg outer covering. My wife had a crispy chicken sandwich that was also fantastic and made out of an actual chicken breast. This is pub food for sure but with quality ingredients and just enough of a twist to make it worth going to get. I believe the ingredients are locally sourced, the salad was fresh out of the garden taste if you know what I mean. The trick with brew pubs like this is maintaining that level of quality and twist to stay ahead of the pack. I have reviewed some in Bend, OR, one of the top microbrew locations in Oregon, and that's what always seems to get them, the food quality goes to shit. Don't let that happen!
