    Lots of awesome choices

We stopped by on a busy Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere is the same: large, clean, airy with lots of seating. Service was swift and kind; however, we had to wait about 30-40 min for our food. HOWEVER, the Reuben sandwich was absolutely worth the wait--plentiful, moist, and savory. I decided to sub a salad for the fries, which may have been a mistake. The salad had a lot of brown and yellow lettuce leaves. Management should really check the quality of produce before serving it to customers. The salad was large as well, but the brown lettuce threw me off. So, skip the salad and get the fries or sweet potato fries.

This place was recommended to me by a local chef and it over delivered. The Caesar salad (in lieu of fries) was yummy, but the cheddar cheeseburger was perfectly cooked, oversized, and so delicious. Service was terrific too. The outdoor area is made up of wooden picnic tables under canopies, but it all works and must be a great environment when they showcase live music. Highly recommend.

Beautiful day in McMinnville Oregon... Grain Station Brew Works.

Grain Station Brew Works is a favorite of my kids and grandkids when we are in McMinnville for lunch or dinner. Easy to access location, great parking, outdoor seating for those months when Oregon's weather accommodates outdoor seating. The casual and inviting atmosphere seems to draw lots of folks looking for a break from their Winery visits. The menu is creative artisanal pub with great appetizers, classic sandwiches, excellent Pizzas gourmet burgers, and big fresh salads. From their great Stout to their ales, their craft beer selection is excellent. My personal favorites are their Rueben, The Works Pizza, their House Salad and a Sunny summer afternoon! Great choice

I visited Grain Station Brew Works twice during my weekend trip to visit Grandma. I chose to sit at the bar so I didn't take up a whole table. Best choice of my visit. Each of the bartenders and staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious and the beer is world class. I had the Lupo Krush both days. Delicious! The buffalo wings and coconut shrimp were great to snack on. The pepperoni pizza to go was a smart choice that paid off the next day as well. Not pictured - the white chocolate blueberry cheesecake. YUMMMM!!! They seem to have a beautiful outdoor seating area as well as a stage for live music. The inside is very spacious with extremely clean restrooms. They have an all gender restroom and larger restrooms for males and females. I will return next time I am in town for all of the reasons listed above. If you're in Mcminville, I highly recommend visiting Grain Station Brew Works!!!

We stopped in on a Friday night on our return from the coast. We arrived 30 minutes before they closed (too close for comfort, but we wanted to try), so I asked the host if they could still seat us. And while they weren't enthusiastic (I know I wouldn't be), we got a table and were promptly and warmly welcomed by our server. Even with only half an hour to close, we didn't feel rushed, and they took the time to explain the menu and offered suggestions. My lobster and I split a small arugula salad (which was indeed plenty!). It was simply dressed and packed full of flavor. I don't know why my basic salads at home don't taste this good. He got the sausage calzone, and I ordered the mushroom pizza. Both of our mains were delish. The sausage in the calzone was fennel forward, which we love. The fried sage atop my mushroom pizza was a delightful addition, and I'm not even a big fan of sage. Hey, people grow and change! The space itself is cozy and inviting. We look forward to returning for an earlier dinner so we can try the cocktails and dessert.

The pizza is thin crust, uses a better quality of pepperoni, and the bottom is crisply done. The Greek salad was a generous size, a large could easily be split. It had great quality ingredients in sliced kalamata olives and Mama Lil's peppers. If you threw them in whole, they would dominate the dish, sliced they complemented the dish along with the feta crumbles and cherry tomatoes. What was striking in a great way was that all the salad was ice cold and crunchy. Few restaurants take the care with that little detail. The self serve water was perfectly chilled too. They make deep dish as well. Honey Pie is order at the counter, they bring it to the table, and you bus. There is a covered patio outside, and inside long tables to share with chairs and seating upstairs. The staff was great and the service fast. In January 2025, we visited the small town of Floyd, VA and ate at an amazing little Italian restaurant called Geraldi's. (It was such a great experience that you should read the separate review we wrote for that location.) While there, we met Albert, the owner, who shared with us that his grandson Joe owns Geraldi's in McMinnville, OR. We told Albert that we had just been in McMinnville and promised that we would visit his grandson's restaurant on a future trip to visit family in the area. This visit, we made sure to plan a stop at Geraldi's--and we did just that today, two days before Christmas 2025. We arrived a little before 4:00 PM and walked inside. The exterior is well maintained and there was ample parking available. Inside, the ordering process is straightforward: you order at the counter, take a seat with the order number stand, and your food is brought out when it's ready. There's a menu board behind the counter, and hard-copy menus are conveniently located on both sides of the entrance. The kitchen is completely open behind the counter, so you can watch everything as the food is prepared, which we always enjoy. My wife ordered the chef salad with added grilled chicken, along with a side of two meatballs. We remembered just how good the meatballs were at the Floyd, VA location and hoped they would live up to that memory. I ordered a small (14-inch) calzone with pepperoni and sausage, which comes with a side of marinara. When our meals arrived at the table, the portions were huge. The chef salad was loaded with fresh ingredients and the grilled chicken was perfectly cooked. The meatballs absolutely lived up to expectations, tender, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The calzone was massive, even for the "small" size, with a generous amount of filling and a nicely baked crust. The marinara was rich and well-balanced, pairing perfectly with each bite. Overall, this visit felt like a continuation of the same family tradition and quality we experienced in Floyd, VA. It's clear that pride and consistency carry through the generations. If you're in McMinnville and craving Italian comfort food made well, Geraldi's is absolutely worth the stop.
